I was riding my bike around Dallas and my tires needed some air. This was the closest bike shop so I decided to give it a shot. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by what I would assume to be the owner. I asked her if she would mind putting air in my tires, and she didn't hesitate in saying yes. Not only did she have someone check my tires and fill them with air, she offered me water and a bathroom. There was even the most friendly pup there as well! Barkley was the best! This hospitality was absolutely incredible. I had to write a review! She even suggested a nearby biking trail, which turned out to be excellent ! I came here for electric bike rentals and it was a great experience. We called ahead and they had bikes waiting for us for our height. They had water and safety kits in the bikes. We signed waivers and the sales associate took us around back to show us how the bikes work. She made sure we were comfortable on the bikes and only started the timer when we started biking. The store is situated right on a fantastic bike path. We rented the bikes for 1 hour, which was enough time for us. It was enough time to go to the lake for a bit but if we wanted ti go all the way around it, we probably would've needed 2 hours. This was a cool experience to do for $25 pp - a nice way to experience electric bikes without spaying $2k to buy one on your own :) read more

We're owners now!!! (All thanks to the fun we had renting bikes through BK at Pedego Dallas!) This adorable brick and mortar is so conveniently located next to all the hot spots in Deep Ellum and the perfect riding distance from white rock lake! We decided to rent for a fun afternoon and loved BK's enthusiasm as well as all her advice for the best route to White Rock. The store is so fun, welcoming and dog friendly all thanks to her. She also is so on top of all the latest and greatest food spots and openings - we could chat for hours about dallas hotspots alone. We returned a couple months after our first rental to browse bikes and it didn't take much convincing before we spoiled ourselves and became Pedego owners the same day. BK was genuinely excited for us and helped guide us through the accessories process and any customization we wanted to do. BK and her bike tech Anthony are super communicative, passionate, kind and welcoming. It's unfortunate that when you search for things to do in Dallas, Pedego doesn't seem to show up on any list (at least not on any of the ones I've seen. And it totally should. My cousin and I were looking to find a bicycle to rent to ride around white rock lake. I had my one wheel a electric skateboard of sort and I thought there would be some bikes like the "lime"ones just laying around but there weren't any to my disappointment. So looked up bikes to rent and Pedego was the only one that was renting. My cousin rented one of the electric bikes and she had a blast! I also rode it too and it was super fun it could go 20 mph and it was super easy to pedal. White rock lake is like a 12+ mile ride and my one wheel ran out of juice but the bike didn't and ran like a champ. Will be returning back to do the whole trail. Only thing it's a little pricey at 25 an hour but totally worth it in my opinion. read more

I just started a job as a food courier for Uber Eats. I'm tiny at just 4'11" and 95lbs. I couldn't peddle fast enough on my Trek Mountain bike because of my short stature. BK at Pedigo helped me find a great pre-owned bike that I can sit on and have my feet flat on the ground when stopping. She trained me on how to use the bike as it's my 1st E-bike ever. Jaime is also very helpful. Those are the only staff members I've met thus far besides a few adorable loafing oaf lazy helpers. The lazy ones are so cute and fury. The s are great greeters. They aren't that lazy. They sleep sometimes. The humans and the canines are so helpful and friendly. One day. When I can afford the off-road bike. I'll upgrade to that as UberEats biking delivery takes me off-road more often than not. I've slid through mud and slipped and fell.‍ Pedigo bikes can take a beating without breaking. Same with my bones. I'll upgrade my wheels sooner than later. This Pedigo 2 goes faster than advertised even when I have 10 to 15 lbs of food added that I'm delivering. I cannot say enough about what a great time this is! Eight of us went on the taco tour and we LOVED it. BK, Will, and Brad took care of every detail, were great hosts, and made us all feel so comfortable. The tacos were to die for and the ride was so fun. The hardest part was not ordering more food at each stop in order to save room for the next stop's delicious tacos! We had the best time on these bikes!! My husband is an experienced and avid cyclist (MTN and Road). We don't ride together because it can be defeating for me and no fun for him. These electric bikes are the great equalizer! My husband, our 11 year old daughter and I went out together and ALL had a blast! We went from the Farmer's Market to White Rock Lake and were able to stay together. The battery lasts forever! We were going full speed most of the time (20mph) for 2 1/2 hrs and the battery barley dropped. We could have gone for several more hours, no problem. We cannot wait to do this again! We absolutely LOVE our Pedego Electric Bikes!!! We bought two 26" step-thru interceptors from BK at Pedego Dallas a year or so ago. Just purchased a big City Commuter to ship to our son (who is 6' 9" tall) in NYC -- and yet another Interceptor to add to our fleet at the beach in SC. Had a glitch with our last bike, but am happy to report that Pedego went above and beyond in the service department -- wish the service at Tesla was at least half as good! I would not hesitate to buy another -- but likely owe my next purchase to Pedego Myrtle Beach as the owner, Aaron Maynard, went totally out of his way to investigate the issue surrounding our newest addition. Rented a tandem bicycle for two hours to ride around White Rock lake. It was our first time on both an electric and a tandem bicycle and had no issues. The battery makes it easy to go uphills. Good starting location if you want to go to either the lake or downtown. read more

Everyone needs to do the Taco Tour, it's AWESOME!!! I recently moved to the Dallas area and my girlfriend and I stayed downtown for a birthday weekend to explore the city. I booked the Taco Tour hoping to see downtown Dallas and man did it pay off! BK was our tour guide and she did a wonderful job taking us through super cool areas of Dallas stopping at some of the BEST taco joints. She paid for the tacos at three different stops to give us the energy to keep going. That said, the electric bikes couldn't have been more comfortable and easy to ride.
