When I booked the tour I wasn't aware that the World Cup would be in Dallas, so we had to take detours around some places due to high traffic. However, it was really cool to see what looked like the entire country of Argentina hanging out at Klyde Warren Park. We got to hear their beautiful chant & even almost got to see Messi. If the daytime tour was this much fun I could only imagine what the vibe would be like at night. Fifteen minutes later I was on my way home. Bike fixed, ready to ride. Dignity intact. The guy's behind the counter were patient, helpful, and understanding. Can't say enough about that part. So, if you're an "I can fix it guy" kind of guy who usually can't , my advice to you is: Don't be a bonehead like me. Just take it to the pros. And if you have to wait, there are a lot of great bikes to look at.

We initially brought our bike in for a standard tune-up, which took 3-4 days. When we finally picked it up, we got a flat in the front tire the very same day, so we had to bring the wheel back the next day for another repair. That repair then took an additional two days. When discussing the replacement tire, we were quoted for a full black tire. While the quote didn't include the cost of the glue, which wasn't communicated until after the quote was sent, I accepted that without issue. However, when we picked up the wheel, the tire was not full black. It had white sidewalls. Once we got home, I looked up the tire and discovered it comes in two different color options. If I was quoted and charged for a full black tire, then that is exactly what I expected to receive. Not white sidewalls. Not para. Black. Now we have to take the bike back yet again because the incorrect tire was installed. This has resulted in multiple unnecessary trips, delays in training, wasted time, and added frustration. What should have been a straightforward tune-up has turned into over a week of back-and-forth because of repeated mistakes. Based on my previous experience trying to communicate with this shop, I don't expect this review to receive a response. I simply hope future customers receive better service and greater attention to detail than we did.

The garden in the spring is beautiful with the flowers in bloom. You really feel like you are in nature with all the different plants, trees, trails, a creek, wooden bridge, wild flowers, and serenity. This time I avoided the parking fee by parking in a free lot at SMU and walking 10 minutes to the Bush Center. Overall, the gardens are a gem in Dallas. They are completely free and in some ways just as nice as the Arboretum, just smaller.

We even got to stop by the trolley depot and meet the person in charge of the trolley system who also answered questions for us. I would recommend this food tour as we got to try three different places. Baboush, Ka Thai, and The Rustic. All were great! However, the restaurants can change from what our guide was telling us. We also got to stop by a local bakery and try their sweet bread. Next time we're in town we definitely want to try out another food tour with them.
