During my first session, I was already disappointed. They promised a full treatment that included UV light therapy, but once I was already connected to the machine, I was told they couldn't perform that part because they didn't have the proper tubing. No one informed me ahead of time. The second session was far more concerning. The procedure was handled by a nurse who openly stated she had only been there a few months and had no prior experience with EBOO treatments. She began the procedure unsupervised. During the session, the tubing clogged twice, interrupting the process, that was something that didn't happen in the first session. After that session, my health quickly declined. Within three days, I ended up in the ER with pneumonia and symptoms close to a heart attack. According to the doctor, this was likely due to excessive ozone exposure, which can cause oxidative stress and damage to cells, as well as complications affecting the heart and lungs. Months later, I am still dealing with the consequences and now require inhalers. Before this, I was a very healthy and active person, I regularly biked and hiked. I went in simply looking for a treatment that was advertised as a way to "clean and oxygenate" my blood. Instead, I walked away with permanent health issues. Communication and accountability were also unacceptable. I tried contacting the person who sold me the package (Ben) while I was in the hospital and received no response. The only time I heard back was after I threatened to dispute the credit card charge, and even then, there was no concern expressed, no follow-up, and no attempt to offer solutions despite me being hospitalized for several days. There was no doctor on-site supervising the procedure or ensuring patient safety. That alone should raise serious concerns for anyone considering this treatment. In my experience, this facility prioritized profit over patient safety. Based on what I went through, I strongly urge others to stay away if you truly love your health.

They were referrals for treatments that they do not do in that office and are pretty extreme. He said he wanted me to exhaust all other options before giving me referrals to those two treatments. I did exhaust all other options, so he did finally give me those two referrals. Again, I'm very grateful to him for doing that because I don't think I would've been able to pursue those treatments without his referral or a referral by another psychiatrist. One thing that bothers me a lot, though, is that, instead of being offered Spravato, which is covered by my insurance, I could only do IV ketamine there. I don't know why they didn't offer Sp I experienced zero effect until my sixth treatment. Cash pay at that time for me was extremely expensive (about $600 per session). So, the first $3000 worth of IV Ketamine treatment was completely ineffective for me.
