We have been coming for three months now and my little one asks EVERY morning if we are going to dance today. Alexis and Lindsay are so so patient with these kids. It's not uncommon for them to cry for the first or second class and not once did they make me feel bad about it. They are so calm and patient with them and do everything they can to make them comfortable. If they cry for 10+ minutes, they may ask them to leave the class because they obviously need their parents and it's becoming disruptive for the other children. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. You instantly feel like part of the family, they know your children's names at every class and call them by their name consistently. Very impressed with our time here and looking forward to many years in the Dance Deluxe family. This is very worth checking out, no matter what age your children are!

This may be the perfect dance studio for many students. It was not for my student…read more One of mine is a competitive level dancer with many years experience. He began classes in July when most of the students hadn't started yet. It was wonderful then. He got lots of individualized attention and the teachers were knowledgeable and knew lots of methods that he hadn't encountered before. Once the students returned when school started, everything changed. Focus and structure were gone from the classes. He was unable to try out for the competitive teams being new to the area, but the recreational classes were not able to accommodate his experience. Rules were not enforced. Kids were disruptive. They wore inappropriate clothing both for age and function. Things like bikinis or full length school skirts. And even though the school has a wonderful male instructor and other male students, many kids told my son that he couldn't dance because he was a boy. He felt unwelcome and didn't get the camaraderie and instruction he was used to at his former studio. There is so much potential in this studio, but the lack of discipline and cooperation among students made it a bad fit for my dancer.

The environment is positive and feels "like a family". The teachers have been a blessing and have become great mentors for my girls. Not only have they taught them proper technical training, but also how to be great, hard-working people. We are so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school. We thought everything was ok. We got an email saying we were let go saying we were unhappy and money-- which we never said. We had a conversation about cost a few weeks ago and it was cleared up. I think folks may have heard PRIVATE conversations I had with my family about cost and upset from miscommunication... which is why we had the conversation with Rachel (dancers ink) and it was clarified. We were all happy. Then behind our backs, guess someone decided to cause drama. Instead of talking with us-- they just sent a heartbreaking email.
