It was obvious she had trouble getting the old zipper out and damaged my coat. When I pointed it out, she immediately got defensive and told me it was my own fault, and that it was from normal wear-and -tear of putting my hands in my pockets all the time. I told her that was not true, and I would remember there being scratches on my coat. I simply asked for a discount since she did indeed fix the zipper, but I was unhappy with the damage to my coat. She told me I was ridiculous. She tole me to leave and never return. Needless to say, that won't be a problem. Completely shocked that this person owns a business with paying customers. I took a good amount of time looking at every corner, because there is a lot of cute stuff. Sandra herself is super nice and helpful! It was my first day in Fairbanks, and I just hopped in to look at all the rings (constant search for spoon rings). She helped me out by letting me know about the area and all the interesting places to shop/eat, as well as good places to view the lights. She even drew me some directions and printed out locations of GPS coordinates! On top of that, I got a lot of cool Alaskan gifts and badass ring (that actually fits my tiny fingers!).
