I tried Frosty King for the first time today. A friend recommended it after I complained about a nearby place that I felt had gone downhill. I was thinking BLT. Not on the menu, but no problem. I ordered the Western cheeseburger combo instead. Twelve dollars and change, which I thought was good. They asked me to pull around and wait. I did. Got my food after a few minutes and drove home. Burger was delicious! Crispy bacon, lots of cheese and onion rings...all great stuff. The crinkle fries...overcooked! I was really disappointed. Fries are usually the best part and these were not. This was our 1st visit here and food was really good. On this visit I got the kids meal cheeseburger and my husband got the French burger combo. All were really tasty and good portions. They even served breakfast and prices aren't bad either. The combo meals are really competitively priced for what you get at other burger places. The staff are really friendly and we were greeted instantly. The restaurant is very clean and they provided fast service. The drive thru was busy but inside was empty. On this visit we took it to go. The food is absolutely amazing and consistent, my third time at this location, the burgers are amazing, fries are the perfect balance of crisp. Still the best place in town for a hot pastrami sandwich, they load it up with tons of meat and I always ask for extra pickles and hot peppers. The fries are seasoned and cooked perfectly, I noticed some new items on the menu we're definitely coming back soon ! If you are looking for some good ol fried deliciousness then this is the spot! Fried zucchini BOMB! Fried burritos BOMB! Especially with the good hienz taco sauce . Crinkle cut fries with seasoning BOMB! And they give you so many fries! . Burgers aren't small, tasty fresh fixings to go with it. On my way to CVS, I decided to stop by Frosty King and check out what they had available for dinner. The last time I came here was 7-8 years ago when this was also a gas station. The interior is spacious and clean. I went ahead and ordered a Texas burger meal which came with a medium drink and seasoned fries. The man behind the counter was very helpful. I had this to go and went to CVS then home. I took the burger and fries and had them on a plate. The first thing you notice is the size of the bun, it is large. The burger patty was also large, same diameter and the bun. The burger was delicious, juicy and cooked just right. The medium fry helping, I would consider this as being a large portion. Overall, good food and pleasant dinner experience. I will definitely come back and try the other burgers and the pastrami sandwich. read more

I believe it came up to almost $18.00 after taxes. The interior is spacious, you could throw a birthday party here or even bring a gang full of kids after their extracurricular games. This place is a little pricy in my opinion. A corndog and deep fried burrito are both $2.29 for one. Frosty's on Chester & 34th you can get 2 for 2. They have the best prices in town. She was so rude I ordered a half n half in a cup small. A bit pricey for chicken salads from a fast food restaurant. Waited 30 minutes in the parking lot after ordering in the drive thru for our food. The chicken was dry when we bit into it and cucumbers weren't really fresh. I wish the cashier would've said the total of our order and the wait time at the beginning after we placed our order because we much rather have gone to a nicer restaurant to pay this amount for some salads. Orders are ALWAYS wrong. ALWAYS. When brought to staffs attention they show no remorse and do not offer anything in return for the inconvenience. Visited this place 5 times and each and every time the order was wrong. I check as i am driving home and have to turn around and wait again leaving the food i do have cold and my family hone waiting for their meals. The drive thru wait times are exceptionally long as well. I've waited for a salad for over 20 minutes just to have it made incorrectly. I will not be returning. The menu is so full of options, it has something for my most pickiest- she swears by the chicken strip meal, best crinkle cut fries ever. As for the rest of us we have special requests- keto, so we ask for lettuce wrapped on all our burgers or sandwiches. They are generous with the leaves of crisp lettuce. They have never disappointed in my many special requests! The only negative is that it could take a minute or so if there are many customers so call your order in ahead of you can't wait. Came here for lunch with my SO and we were not disappointed even with it being lunch hour with drive thru and inside foot traffic. We typically like a good pastrami sandwich from a drive thru joint like this place and theirs is a 7 on a scale of 1-10. Their burgers are really good, your typical thin patties, big messy and very tasty. Your bag of French fries is over flowing and seasoned with seasoning salt, yum. They have all your usual suspects like taco, burritos, mushrooms and fried zucchini. All the fountain drinks are great and they have root beer freezes, shakes and sundaes. So if you are wanting so great food and really friendly service. Don't miss this place. Also it is a combination mini-market drive thru restaurant so you can do a one stop shop.
