My wife and I have used the self wash for our dog and few times and was able to schedule our dog for his first grooming a few months out. The Covids complicated a lot of things and finding a grooming appointment was one of them. I was able to drop him off at 9am during our scheduled date. He was ready after an hour and half. it was faster than I expected but happy he wasn't in a new loud environment for a whole day. Lauren did a great job with our dog. She was able to trim his face and private area. I didn't recognize him when I picked him up immediately because he got brushed and was fluffed up. I'm used the matted look he had and I can see his eyes now. Its a good setup they have. there's plenty of street parking outside. I took a star away because there isn't enough warm water when we use the self wash station. I don't think my puppy minds the cold water but my hands are freezing when we bath him ;) read more

This review is specifically for the invisible electric dog fence, so I don't know much more about the company. Having said that, Mike came out to troubleshoot our broken electric fence line. It's not easy for us to give our 60lb pup a bath at home, so we are so thankful for this place! They have options so you can self-wash, have your dog groomed, or add on treatments like nail clipping and ear cleaning. I've been going to in and out in Garwood for years between two dogs. The whole staff excluding the owner of course has changed. My current dog has gone approx 4 times. My dog is a shihtzu and I'll admit is a little difficult to cut but the old staff new how to handle him and he came out beautifully! The following is after my dog being there for 3 hours gave him back looking like this. The groomed picture is how the old staff groomed him. This place is so busy and needed ppl so bad to groom that they just hired anybody. Don't come here!! They really went down hill. The nerve they have giving my dog back like this.....shameful! I wish I could give it more stars but I could not include friendly customer service since when I checked out and presented my yelp offer it wasn't received very well and seemed to negatively to impact my visit. As I had to listened to why YELP isn't useful to them. Now I'm extra glad I washed my dog myself ..lol I thought I was lucky to find this place after trying to locate their previous location which is on their web advertising. To only learn that it had gone out of business and another similar self wash competitor who also had close their doors for good. Once, I found a spot to park on the street, we walked a block or so, as they don't have a private parking lot. I at least wanted to go check out the facilities after my hard efforts to find them. Now they have a couple of self contained stalls with tubs/ramps and plenty of shampoo choices, a blower dryer like a car vacuum hose which is quiet noisy so start slow of your dog isn't used to this. Now I did bring a bottle of Clorox cleanup just to disinfect the tub before we used it even though it was clean in appearance. The stalls are low there probably about 4 foot high gates so if you have a big dog like I do it's easy for the dog jumped out into the common area. So definitely keep your dog close by or tethered. I liked the waiting area and of course they had a TV couple of tables and even a small kids table to keep the little ones busy. Kind of reminded me of one of those laundry mats I could see this place getting very busy with dogs maybe waiting and dogs being washed so it could probably get very excited as you know some dogs are very high energy so be prepared. They offered two types of services want to self-serve which is what we were here to do and the other is grooming where you drop off and pick up at a later time and they do the work for you. We got right to work brought my dog and got him comfortable we walked into the tub and everything worked well good size everything looked clean the whole process cost me about $26.00 w tax. I didn't not notice the tub we had just used being cleaned or sanitized after our use or if this is done at days end or not at all. So I would suggest earlier in the morning or bringing your own disinfectant like I did I just asked for one at the counter maybe they'll accommodate you. So a deal now if I had chosen to have them do the grooming for me I would've paid closer to $50 which still isn't too bad in my opinion compared to some of the mobile groomers I've used where they're closer to $80 or $100. But I have a German Shepherd so there really isn't a lot of grooming or "cutting" so it's a pretty simple bath brush out teeth nails and dry for that $50. They also have aprons so you can keep your clothes pretty clean while you're working out in a couple of choices you can choose from and shampoo formulas which all is pumped automatically through the same sprayer that you at the dog with so that's pretty convenient. Not sure what happened between this business owner and Yelp but it shouldn't be a concern that the customer needs to know about. I was told that the offer would not be honored and a alternate wasn't offered and that they no longer use yelp. I would never have found this place if it wasn't for Yelp. So some good us benefited you and maybe a good marketing tool in the future for something like this might be like a customer loyalty card where you could entice a customer to make repeat visits for maybe a free wash, or 10% off a purchase, etc. if the bulky stick wasn't working. One last thing I would suggest you be aware of as a responsible dog owner make sure your dogs are not sick and are fully vaccinated. This is a common area where they will be interacting in the same space and air and while the establishment does not verify any paperwork. So be sure to have your rabies distemper and Bordetella vaccines current for your dogs safety when using any grammar or even the self washing dog spas too. read more

At this place, the groomer cut my dog's ear, they let him bleed and my dog could have died. Michael Kelly who owns the place, said he would cover the vet expenses and then he disappeared. I took my dog to the vet and they had to anesthetize him in order to put some stitches in he's ear, I was charged $2,000 for the vet, I sent Michael Kelly the bill, and he disappeared and won't take responsibility for the harm that was done to my dog. We sent him several messages asking him to take responsibility of the expenses, he ignored us , and he's now saying that we're harassing him, the nerve of this guy. I really advise pet owners not to take your pet to this place, they'll butcher your dog and won't take responsibility, and if you ask him to do what's right, he'll tell you that you're harassing him. read more

This is a long review but I hope you enjoy it. Today was my first visit to In N Out. I was a little nervous not knowing where my owner had taken me. There's other dogs here but it's not the vets so I didn't know what to expect. As I sat with my owner a nice lady came up to me trimmed my nails and cleaned my ears. She said I was cute. Afterward my owner walks me into a bay, closed the door behind me, and walks me up a ramp, pulls up a door that leads me into a smaller bay and puts a collar around me. What the... Im in an enclosed tub. I know because my owner turns on a hose and starts bathing me. This is great for my owner, what a relief on her back and the plumbing. Im very hairy and shed a lot. After the soap is washed out my hair, I also get a blow dry. My owner does not seem rushed as she thoroughly dries me. Afterward the tub is opened, I walk down the ramp feeling and looking good. At checkout the same nice lady sprays me with a blueberry scented spray and puts a bandana around my neck. I'm happy, my owner is also happy, she received a coupon for $5 off our next visit. I took my two huskies to In-N-Out Dog Wash on 5/27/2020. It was my first time using them. I had a great experience. Due to covid they had someone come to my car (the staff was in masks) and pick up the dogs. When the dogs were finished someone came to the car to give me the dogs. Unfortunately we have had a bad experience at this grooming place. We have been going here for over a year due to many reviews on how they are great with big dogs. That has been an issue for us with previous grooming places as they did not know how to handle a bigger dog.The first few months we have had no issue had an amazing groomer who our dog loved. We understand during Covid things may not be the easiest however it started pre-Covid That every time we made an appointment they had to cancel or had an issue and could only give him a bath and not a cut. This is now the 3rd time which was my last chance of giving this place a shot. Sad because we did love the groomer but the organization of the scheduling needs a lot of work. read more

We took our dog on a hike and she, of course, found puddle of mud. After rolling around and caking herself in the mud, we looked up places that had walk-in self service dog wash baths. We have a place like it near us that we've used before and don't mind giving her the bath ourselves. This place was even better than the one near our house! For $18 you get your own little area to wash and dry your dog. The bath was great and they give you free towels to dry her off. Not only that, the industrial dryer got our dog dry in seconds. I bring my dog all the time at this place. Jackie does a phenomenal job with my dog. Even though he is stubborn and fights her all the way she still amazes me with her work, dedication and patience. But this last time I was very disappointed with the place and the way the things were going. The place was dirty and disorganized, the groomers didn't have clean or washed towels to dry the dogs. Even the towel that was out on the table to let my dog sit was dirty. Very very disappointed with the way the place was this time. I hope it gets better in the future. I was just at In N Out Pet Services with my older pit bull Biscuit. Gabby was WONDERFUL with her in clipping Biscuit's nails and equally wonderful with accommodating my concerns with keeping the pedicure experience as stress free as possible for pup and owner. Although I have noticed that the staff has changed through the years, every time I've come, I have been very pleased with the groomer who was working with me to cut my dog's nails. I have always wanted to give my pup treats during the pedicure to keep it a positive experience, and I have never been told that could not be accommodated. I brought my dog there the first night we got him (he is a rescue). We had made an appointment but weren't sure how he would handle a bath. The owner walked us through the entire process and was extremely patient with our pup. We then brought him back to have his nails done, and we had never done that before. The owner was extremely helpful and did it himself. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! This is the first time I've ever taken my dogs to a self serve dog wash establishment and I really enjoyed it. This place is located on the corner of a busy street- there are a few parking spaces in the back of the building but there are also a ton of free street parking options around the block. Walking in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the facility itself is very clean. There are 4 self service dog washing stations on the left and grooming is done in the back of the place. The dog wash station is pretty big and can easily accommodate large dogs. There is a plank the dogs are able to walk up on and go into the tub (my scaredy cat dogs had to be carried of course) and a padded collar attached to the tub to secure your dog in so they don't jump out. There is a water hose attached to the tub with 3 different shampoo scents you can choose from. Once you choose your shampoo of choice (we chose cranberry and our pups smelled delicious), just turn on the hose and the shampoo automatically mixes in with the water so all you have to do is spray down your dog and lather. The water was warm but not too hot and had great water pressure. There is no time limit for using the washing stations so I was able to lather and rinse my dogs as many times as I wanted. When you're done, there are towels readily available and also a high-velocity dryer to dry your dog with at each station. My one dog (who is scared of life) was absolutely terrified with the dryer, especially since it was super loud and blowing full force air out. I tried to put one of the nozzles at the end of the vacuum dryer but it wouldn't stay on- needless to stay, I took one of my dogs home half wet because of this. The staff was nice though and offered to give me extra towels to thoroughly dry off my dog with and also offered me one to take home. I was definitely satisfied with this facility and wouldn't hesitate to bring my dogs here again if I'm ever back in the area. read more

My first time to a self serve dog wash. The worker helped explain the whole process to me. I felt good that I washed my dog versus some stranger. I was able to be gentle and use less blow dryer since she doesn't like that much. Great economical choice and my dog left smelling nice and looking clean. They even cut her nails for no extra charge. One thing : I wish the shampoo wasn't AS diluted. It would be easier and quicker to wash with some more suds. read more

I have been here a few times and every time I've been there the employees were extremely friendly and very clean! There's never been a wait when I went there are very few self wash places where I live so I'm happy they are close by! My only complaints would be that I have been there twice to have my dogs nails cut and each time they weren't cut short enough so within a few weeks they had completely grown out. Also price is a bit expensive compared to what I was used to in Atlanta! I have a Yorkie Poo that weighs less than 10 pounds so our washes tend to be very quick! read more

My wife and I stopped our dog, Mario, off for grooming on July 31st. We have been at this location without problems in the past so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but I reached out to them via their website and have received ZERO RESPONSE. Within a day after grooming we noticed that mario seemed uncomfortable. When petting him he was very sensitive and is normally the calmest pup. After closer look underneath his fur there was a severe reaction. His entire back was covered in scabs and actively bleeding. We have another pup at home who was not groomed that day so we know it wasn't anything from the house. We had to take Mario to the vet and confirmed that he had a reaction. We had a $400+ Bill for antibiotics and mousse that we had to apply over a two week period. I asked in and out to at least tell me what shampoos that they had used on Mario and never heard a thing. Sad to see that an operation like this won't even acknowledge the pain that my pup was forced to endure.... never mind the $400 vet bill. Thank goodness for Westfield Animal Hospital who was able to prescribe the appropriate meds so Mario was able to make a full recovery. The employees at this location seemed great but I can no longer trust them with my pets. read more

We've been back a few times now, and it's always a great experience. We haven't used their grooming services, but I was bathing my dogs while another couple had their (very scared) dog there for grooming services. The groomer who was on duty was very professional with what was clearly a possibly tricky situation, gently getting the dog into a muzzle temporarily to avoid any problems. She definitely knew how to work with dogs to make grooming a positive experience, and I appreciated that level of effort. read more

I absolutely love this place! At the time I was in there, it was just my daughter, me, and our pup. I told the owner in there that I was more than clueless about how everything worked so he walked us through everything. This was my pup's first time being taken to a grooming place. She is a very hyper pit bull puppy and was afraid.He even locked the door and let her run around w/o a leash in there. Anyway, I definitely plan on going back, a lot! LOVE THIS PLACE! PS the owner told me that he just opened up another one at the Westfield Auto Wash. Since it was my first time he made me out a receipt to get a free car wash. Sometimes hiring new staff is not in a business's best interest: although we have used this place for self service dog washes for the past year we no longer recognize any of the employees. Today we were asked 3 separate times if we had paid for washing our dog! Also none of the crew who repeatedly asked us to pay ever offered to do the services which are supposedly "included" in the price: they are supposed to offer to clip your dog's nails, clean their ears, and give them a bandanna when they are done. We got none of that. And so for those reasons no one got the tip that I had ready to give if we had received proper service. Time to hunt for another place to scrub the pup!! read more

Love this place... and so does my dog. It is what it says. Its set up very nicely for you to walk in the door and wash your dog in a well thought out, clean and comfortable environment. Everything you need is there. including a dryer that is much better than the one I use at home. The station is comfortable and not strain on my back. The people there care about your dog and help you when they see you need it. They work together to make sure everything goes smoothly. The price is reasonable and I avoid clogged hair in my drains at home. We both walk out happy. read more

We used the self-serve dog wash and while the customer service was good, the experience left something to be desired: - The automatic soap dispenser didn't yield many suds (I prefer just a squeeze bottle) - There was no conditioner - Towels were available after we asked for them Normally, these wouldn't be deal breakers but at nearly $25 a visit, I'd expect all of the above plus a tearless face soap, quick-dry groomer spray, and temperature control of the water. read more

5 stars -- Customer since 2015 100% satisfaction, without a doubt. I believe it's the employees and the atmosphere that put Romeo (my dog) at ease. It's the first time he has ever walked into a room with a wide variety of dogs, and was calm. I was a bit apprehensive about how Romeo would react to a stranger taking care of him. Mike knew exactly how to handle Romeo, and put him at ease. Especially when it came time to cut his nails. Romeo actually licked Mike, when he was clipping his nails. Romeo is a very large Old American Bull Dog. He's strong, tall and approximately 90 lbs, so you can get an idea of why I'm so thrilled with In N Out Self Serve Dog Wash. Romeo is too large for me to wash at home, and to have another person do that job, and make Romeo at ease is quite an accomplishment read more
