Very Impressed with out first visit to the groomers. I was really apprehensive because my pup is one spicy girl. Chino is the best! Athena looks amazing and smells delightful. I have to give him credit because Athena is difficult to brush. She is quite mouthy. I can only imagine how much of an ordeal cutting her hair and nails were like. BEWARE - YOUR PATIENCE WILL BE TESTED!! I've tried to like Doggy Styles but every time I've brought my dog, there's been a reason not to. First, no one is wearing masks. The front desk person is never wearing a mask (and they can't seem to keep a stable employee since every time I go it's someone new). The groomers are coming out to greet your dog without a mask on. They NEVER answer their phone and I always have to leave a message. It takes 24 hours + to get a call back. On top of that their website doesn't work so you have no idea if this is even a legitimate place of business. Not answering the phone would be acceptable to me if they had a website that actually listed their hours. When you make an appointment, you have a set time to drop your dog off. This most recent experience, I had an appointment at 12pm. When I arrived, they couldn't find my "client card" and after a very long time of looking, they created a new one. I'm not sure why they didn't have the client card pulled and ready to go for my appointment. So I did drop him off and like so many other times, my dog literally sits in a cage for HOURS until the groomers catch up on their appointments. I don't understand why I need to drop my dog at the appointment time if they are going to be 3 hours behind and make him sit in a cage. Just tell me to come at 3pm. I got a call at 3pm saying the groomer was behind (from an ignorant front desk person) and he would be ready closer to 345, 4pm. I had plans at 430 however agreed as I had enough time to pick him up and get to my plans. I called at 4pm asking for an update and I was told he now wouldn't be ready until 445. I told them that was unacceptable, he'd have been there for over 4 hours at that point. I told them I had plans and asked what time they closed (since it's no where to be found, and figured I'd pick him up after I was done). The front desk person said they closed at 5. I thought that was a literal joke. So I told them to stop grooming my dog, if they had even started, and I would pick him up immediately. I think it's absolutely absurd that I have to sit around all day and have anxiety about meeting personal plans because of a GROOMER who is hours behind schedule. On a positive note, Danielle is a good groomer and I did like how she groomed my dog. Unfortunately, the above is enough for me to never go back. For a business that seems simple to run from an appointment perspective, they have been nothing but disorganized and disrespectful. read more

I Highly recommend!!! I was able to get an appointment fast for the dog I'm fostering and they were very friendly. The bath was great for the lab pit mix -he looks and smells great! I've been taking my rescue to Kim for several years, she's always as happy to see him as he is to see her. Last year I rescued a Pitt Bull who had never been groomed or had his nails trimmed and there's a gentleman there at Doggy Styles (whose name escapes me at the moment) that does him. My dogs are 60 and 65 pounds and don't like nail trims but with the care, comforting and patience of the staff at Doggy Styles, always look great. My cockapoo has been going to Doggy styles every 6 weeks for 2 years now and we are very happy with her grooming. The groomers are all well qualified and happy to work there. They listen to your requests from your dog's lashes length to the tail's style you wish to get while keeping the right grooming style for your dog. It may take 3 hours to get your dog back but it is because the dogs are in a rotation so they can take a break from being groomed. I see dogs coming to the place happy which to me is a good sign! read more

What a hideous, horrible place. It took them over 4 hours to do my dog and when I got him he was filled with anxiety and practically flew into my arms (which is not normal for him). I got him home and noticed he had OVER 8 NICKS that were starting to scab over on his belly. I would never ever go to this place again. read more

This place is great, I have been there two times so far and do not plan on switching groomers again. Jen, the owner was very responsive to my questions via email, and Kim, my yorkie's groomer took the time to come out to the reception area to meet me and my dog before taking her back to be groomed. I've never written a review on Yelp before, but after reading the only awful review for Doggy Styles, I felt compelled to write my own. I have a large, friendly Goldendoodle and had tried several different groomers in the area before coming here. They certainly are not the cheapest in the area, but my dog is never afraid to go in (unlike other places we tried) and they consistently do a fabulous job on his cut. The reason it takes 4-5 hours on his grooming? They take their time to make sure it's done right - and it always is. read more

I do not recommend Doggy Styles. The groomer did not do what I'd asked her to do. The man tried to charge me $15 more than I was quoted over the phone and when I mentioned I was quoted a lower price AND my dog's tail was too long in addition to his head (I'd asked for a puppy cut), the man walked into the back and closed the shade. I could hear him complaining to the groomer that I'd mentioned his tail was too long and I claimed to have been told a lower price I could hear her complaining. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Honor your word. Do what you are asked to do. Don't complain about customers if they can hear you. read more

We've been customers for more than 10 years. They've groomed our 3 dogs during that period, one of which was elderly and frail. Linda and others took very good care of him. And Jenn, the owner, even called us to see how our sickly dog was faring. Our latest pup is a lively girl. But Chino been trying to get her use to grooming. I'm really surprised by a couple of reviews because my experience has been quite different. The staff is so kind to my always-nervous shelter dog. And they were equally gentle and sweet with my previous dog. When I came back a couple of years after my first dog passed, they remembered her name, her personality, etc. It was sweet, and I appreciated it as I miss her terribly. My new little one seems just fine there and while sometimes it can take a while, she seems happy afterward. And as I said, she's a pretty anxious dog to begin with. read more

I had heard mixed reviews but decided to try it. Went once a month ago, with our tiny miniature poodle pup for his first haircut. It was fine. Maybe a little too short for my taste,but we were done in an hour and a half and he looked fine. Today, we were there at 9:55 am for our 10 am appt with Danielle. We have been told that we may have to wait 4 hours. After 4 and half hours, without a phone call, I was worried. I called. Danielle said they ran behind and had to share the baths. She had not taken care of our 20 week old little guy yet. After 5 and a half hours, I got the call. I went to get him. The place was empty. No Danielle, No Jen( the owner), just EJ the receptionist. So, let me get this right...how many dogs behind could she possibly have been to have had our tiny poodle there for FIVE AND A HALF HOURS in a cage without food or water? BTW, Sixty bucks and our dog doesnt even look like he had a hair cut. I asked to speak to the owner, Jen Mendes(?) She was not there and could not be reached by phone. I asked that she call me. Needless to say, we are not going back. I would suggest that others who entrust their dogs to them, beware. Also, Danielle was not even there to speak to. Which means to me that she just put our little dog in a cage and forgot about him until I called. Otherwise, wouldn't she still be catching up on her day? or wouldn't she stay to apologize? NOPE she was long gone. EJ said she was gone for over 20 minutes by the time we got there. read more

I brought my shih-tzu there when she was a 5 lb. 1 year old. When I picked her up, she was whimpering with cuts all over her. The owner told me she was a "bad dog" and she would have to charge me more next time. Now at 7 yrs old. My dog has never been the same. She is a loving, friendly lap dog but get very anxious when groomed. What did they do to her there? Who are these people and what are their qualifications? For the high cost of the services here, I expected that my pooch would have had a bit more attention. The gentleman that gave my little guy a haircut was very friendly and kind to him and he did an ok job with his cut. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that all of the dogs are kept in crates along the wall unless they are being worked on. I understand that this keeps everyone organized, but it certainly added to my dog's nervousness. I probably won't be bringing him back unless I'm really in a pinch. read more

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Doggy Styles. They groom my personal dogs as well as my foster dogs. They are always very accommodating and do a wonderful job. Today I received a very large Black Lab from a high kill shelter in Georgia to foster. When I picked him up from the transport he had severe hair loss and was a smelly mess. I called up Doggy Styles to see if they could fit my new foster dog in and they were happy to accommodate even though they were booked solid. I picked him up a couple of hours later and he was a new dog. He was happy and clean ready for his new life. I was so pleasantly surprised that they didn't even charge me which was much appreciated but so unexpected. What a wonderful place! I will continue to recommend them to all of the people that adopt my foster dogs and continue to bring my personal dogs to them.
