They had assigned seating which I was super thankful for (we arrived a few minutes late, so I was afraid of it being too crowded and potentially not being able to sit together). They set up our easels so cute!! Our instructor was Emily, she was really sweet and helpful and was also cracking jokes with the other painters. All of the employees at this location were super kind and helpful! The painting that we did was super beginner-friendly (since I am not an amazing painter) which I greatly appreciated! My friend and I absolutely LOVED the drag show! The drag queens were super friendly and funny! My friend and I each got picked to do a game/activity and we won some prizes! My friend won a trucker hat and I won a drawstring bag with a fan, rubber duck, bracelet, etc! I posted some pictures from the event and all three of the queens commented on my Instagram post which was super cool!

My 9yo has been interested in piano for awhile, so when I saw this school on Facebook and that they offer the first lesson free, I contacted them. The staff at the school were extremely friendly and I felt comfortable there as my child took her lesson. Andrew talked to me about the contract, payments, as well as my child's interests and I got the sense that he wanted to make sure my child was truly interested in piano and that she would be able to make the commitment (it's a 52 week program). He was very clear about the payment terms. Because my daughter had been interested in piano for so long, I jumped the gun and signed the contract and made the first payment before she was done the lesson. However, as most children do, as soon as we left, my child changed her mind and decided piano wasn't for her (at no fault of the school or instructor). Because I signed a contract and after reading the other Yelp reviews, I panicked because I thought I just lost the down payment (which isn't cheap) and I wouldn't be able to break the contract. I went back to the school the following day to see what I could do in terms of breaking the contract and to my surprise, they were extremely understanding and agreed to break the contract and said they would refund me my money. Within 3 days, my full payment was returned to me. Although my daughter decided to not do piano, if she ever wants to give it another try, I will be going back here. The contract itself says you have 3 days to cancel the contract after signing if done in writing and I did return to the school the following day after signing the contract. However, the contract is clear that the down payment and registration fee were non-refundable. I'm very thankful that Andrew didn't hold me to this clause.
