Very little communication through the out of state tag process and in the end, my husband was told just to go to the DMV after a full month, with absolutely no benefit to him having gone through the service. I understand it's complicated and takes much longer to process than in-state tags, but when you are being asked to provide paperwork you had already provided weeks ago, then not updated even though he requested some sort of follow up in person, by email and by phone, I can honestly say we've never been ignored like this from a business, nor have we ever yielded such a disappointing result working with a business for over a month. I don't believe anyone should patronize this company if they are in need of California plates and coming from out of state- they don't seem to understand the process, or at least they didn't indicate any understanding to us. read more

Wow, so not only were they able to see me last minute on my lunch break they got me in/out in about 20 minuets with my tags in hand. Steve and Janice were awesome. They explained things to me that I didn't know. Have your paper work ready it makes their lives easier. I couldn't even make it to Pittsburg in 20 minutes the time it took me to complete all of this. We took my daughter's car to In/Out for tags this morning - she quick, so friendly! Rich even came out and scraped off the old tags and put the new ones on! It's a small office in a beautiful building but PLENTY of people working there to help - no appt necessary and we didn't wait AT ALL. There is a small service fee for the convenience but totally worth it! I recommend Steve and his services (In/Out Tags) to everyone in the surrounding area. He can do pretty much everything DMV does except for issuing drivers licenses or ID's. I went here for a transfer of ownership and I literally sat down for about 5 mins and was out of there! No wait time at all, no appointment, nothing. I just walked in.
