Went to this shop a few times (wanted to give him a few tries as everyone is entitled to a bad day and leaving a review on a business off 1 interaction seems unfair), Craig is not friendly and likes to talk down to people. He comes across as thinking he's the smartest person in the room when he is not. You do smog checks for a living not brain surgery. I was friendly and just wanted to get my vehicle smogged without all the attitude and veiled smugness. Do better Craig, learn to accept and treat a diverse customer group well. Strongly caution you to go elsewhere if you need a smog check and skip this place entirely. STAR certified ! Your smog check certificate will be electronically transmitted to the DMV. The service, value and quality here are all top-notch. I was able to get in and out of here in less than 15 minutes. There was no other car waiting and I went in at about 2 PM. I was also able to have a really good conversation with him afterwards about business, marketing , advertising and a host of other things. He is a great guy and I'm thankful to have him in our neighborhood. This is a single stall operation so if you come on a busy day, please be patient. My service cost me $79 out the door with taxes and any other kind of fees included, there is an option to pay cash to save about four or five dollars. This is a convenient location right across from the Chevron gas station just off of Highway 4. I hope we can drive more business here to support him. One option for improvement is that I saw there's a tire pressure check that could be performed but wasn't. I think this is an easy service to provide and could help with gas mileage in some cases. read more

Asked owner if it was going to be possible to test mine and be outta there by 12:30pm or I would have to come back. he said yes it would be completed by then no problem. I've brought 5 or 6 of our cars and trucks here (going in tomorrow get one of our fleet trucks snogged), always extremely friendly and helpful. I had one vehicle that I had replaced a battery on, I drove it 100 miles, brought it in and the monitors still hadn't reset. As soon as he saw that the monitors weren't all set he let me know and gave me some tips on how to get them to reset. He didn't charge me or try to up sell me for anything, just gave me some friendly tips. This is the only smog shop I would recommend locally, I've tried 3 or 4 in brentwood and none had customer service like late shift! read more
