Jaclyn and her team are nothing short of phenomenal! We opt'd for the month of coordinator package w/ event design and she delivered!!! In short- I 100% recommend you book her to bring you dream wedding to life! The details: We had a 2 year long engagement and as expected our vision for our wedding day changed a lot during that time. We knew generally what style we wanted and selected a The Lane, San Diego, a beautiful venue that allowed us to use the vendors we wanted. Since we were doing most of the planning on our own, Jaclyn's event design package was perfect for helping us narrow down exactly what we want and an action plan on how to secure it. She gave guidance (and templates!) on how to organize our different vendors and considerations when booking! Six or so weeks before the wedding we met with Jaclyn in two separate meetings where we passed all the details over to her, created a timeline and finalized the vision for the day of. I was very nervous how it would all come together since we were using several different vendors and some of our own decorations. Fast-forward to our wedding day... It was breathtaking! Jaclyn understood exactly what we wanted and her team executed above & beyond our vision! All of our guests commented on how it was the most elegant & modern wedding they've attended (not to mention fun!). Behind the scenes, Jaclyn and her team ensured our day went off without a hitch. The day was a blur so I'm not actually sure what was going on, but that's why you have a wedding coordinator! So you and your partner can focus on the love that's surrounding you. Jaclyn checked on us, made sure we were fed & happy, and by the end of the night all of our personal supplies/decorations were packed and somehow in our room. A few of our guests are actually in event planning & the wedding industry and couldn't stop complimenting on how on top of it they were! They mentioned they hadn't worked with a coordinator who was so on point. And the rest of our party was just shocked our wedding actually started on time (a reflection of me being late for everything). Honestly, in the details was the best investment for our wedding day. I can't even put into words how grateful we were for Jaclyn! After our first chat on the phone I could tell she was the perfect fit for us. She eased all of our wedding nerves through the entire planning process. She took all of our ideas and made them better and made them come to life. Have you ever seen the show Bridezilla? How about the show "Soon to be Momzilla?" Correct that show doesn't exist; however, dealing with a bride is one thing but dealing with a soon to be mom is another (the hormones alone will have any planner running for the door). Jaclyn, at In the Details, didn't run; in fact, she provided reassurance, an open ear, and lots of great ideas! We wanted a non-tradition shower, at a brewery and co-ed, and she created the perfect ambiance! The deep green tones she suggested worked beautifully with the outdoor night twinkle lights and stone fireplaces. Her attention to detail had the dessert table looking flawless! She had a great idea of creating a shadow puppet table where our friends created little puppets for nighttime story telling. It kept everyone busy (including the kids we invited without having to do obnoxious shower games). I said over and over that decor wasn't going to be our thing and that she could show up when the party started; she used her better judgement, and when I came to the party all the details (I hadn't considered) were perfectly in place! Her little touches truly made the event look magical. We received so many compliments on the party the day after! If you are thinking of hiring her; do so!
