With a full year to plan, and both my daughter and I having a fair amount of event planning experience ourselves, we had a clear vision already in place and felt day-of support would be exactly what we needed. From our very first meeting with Reva, about a year out from the wedding, we could tell she was the right choice. She was calm, reassuring, incredibly detail-oriented, and a natural leader. What genuinely surprised us was how much time, effort, and energy she invested in supporting us throughout the entire year leading up to the wedding, not just on the day itself. It went well beyond what we expected from a day-of package. On the wedding day, she brought two additional team members and the three of them were on site from 9am to 11pm, handling every detail. As we planned throughout the year, Reva offered a few options or possible solutions to the questions or issues we considered, and helped us decide based on what she'd learned about our priorities. As with any wedding, a few unexpected things came up on the big day. There were some small catering hiccups and a few other minor issues, but I never would have known on the day itself. A dream come true. Reva made sure everything came together seamlessly. Our wedding had about 100 guests at a beautiful venue overlooking the water in downtown San Diego, and thanks to Reva, I got to enjoy every minute of it as mother of the bride, completely at ease knowing she had it all handled. My daughter and new son-in-law had the dream wedding they'd envisioned. I would highly recommend Reva and her team to any couple, regardless of wedding size. We had more of a non-traditional wedding, and they were willing to adjust the price and plan to fit our unique event. Hey, Reva! I don't know where you found Kaiah or Michelle, but you gotta keep them around. They were FANTASTIC! My wife and I hired Reva Events for as we needed a day-of coordinator for our wedding. We initially interviewed several businesses, but quickly settled on Reva because she seemed competent and caring. I gradually learned this was a common theme whenever we interacted with Reva and her team. Reva handpicked a main coordinator (Kaiah) that could get along with both of our families. And man, Kaiah was great! She contacted all of our vendors and created an exceptionally detailed timeline for the event. She patiently answered all of our questions (we've never been married before and honestly had only the vaguest ideas of how weddings are supposed to work). Kaiah listened to all of our concerns and adjusted our wedding schedule as necessary. She was responsive to our needs, not just as clients who expected wedding coordination duties to be fulfilled, but also our needs as people both excited and stressed out over one of the most momentous occasions in our lives. She was cognizant of this and supported us by checking up on how we were feeling, having drinks ready for us to help us feel more relaxed, reassuring us that she has things covered, and encouraged us to call her cell in case we needed anything. When the day finally arrived, Reva's team literally took care of whatever was needed. Kaiah helped us stick to the schedule and move our event forward. She helped our videographer with odd jobs so he could get the shots he envisioned. She helped our photographer call out/track down guests when it was time for photos (impressive considering she had to connect faces to names the day of the event). She made suggestions for poses and helped produce our photo shoots. Michelle, her colleague, was also wonderful! She worked behind the scenes and set up the reception venue while everyone was at the ceremony. Our venue looked beautiful and met our specifications nicely. That must've been quite a bit of work. I also appreciate that she took the time to come outside when we arrived so we could meet. Though we only met for a couple days, it felt like we were just hanging out with our extended friends. The month before the wedding, I got to finalize the itinerary and timeline with Kaiah! She was so sweet and calm and nothing seemed to big of an ask! I inquired more about their service and they began to ignore me. As a bride trying to plan a wedding I expect a coordinator to be responsive and willing to help. I wanted to understand the scope of what the setup includes. They choose the unprofessional route and ignored my questions. Gave me another number to reach out to and still crickets. Couldn't bother to take 5 mins to send a quick message back and you expect me to pay you? I'm happy I asked my fiancé to wait to submit payment. Then when I mention I'm not interested she response less than a minute later. I was never rude or disrespectful, nothing above a normal inquiry process. I highly recommend you continue your search and don't waste your time on them. They clearly do not want to put in any work above the minimum. Reva event, Kaiah and Alex were mine and my husbands literal guardian angles for our wedding! I just got married on 4.22.23. I do just want to start off by saying that 4 months before my wedding we got rid of our original coordinator that was garbage, and i was freaking out because we were SO close to our wedding date and it was crunch time from there! Then, my wonderful husband did some digging and came across Reva Event, we read the reviews and were so convinced. We message Reva and got a quote, and we were SO blown away we booked immediately, then Kaiah reaches out to us and let me tell you AMAZING! I was soooo blow away by her! right from the start you could tell she was very detailed oriented (which was a HUGE plus for me because i am too! haha) well spoken and she knew what she was doing!! Reva dont you ever get rid of her she is the heart and soul to Reva! So we hired reva to be a day of coordinator but threw out those few months we spoke on the phone with kaiah a handful of times which honestly felt like we hired them to be main coordinators because they would reach out to vendors give us their ideas, there communication was spot on when it came to kaiah reaching back out to us with important information about what she talked about with our vendors etc. Also when on the phone with kaiah we would go over details, decor, timeline EVERYTHING wedding! Down to the littlest things you wouldn't even think of she would cover it! When i tell you i was BLOWN away!! We also spoke with our day of coordinator Alex a few times and we were also SO BLOW AWAY with his service as well! Going to the day of our wedding! When i tell you they over exceeded our exceptions, they did!!! They did exactly what we went over those few months 1000%!!!!! I could cry because i saw mine and my husbands vision come true before our eyes and Reva made that possible, my wedding wouldn't have gone that smoothly without there help and passion for what they do! Reva, Kaiah and Alex really did save us and i couldn't thank them enough, Kaiah and Alex really did become like our bestfriends threw out everything and day of wedding it felt like they were our bestest of friends, we became so comfortable with them, they were so inviting to the point where we wanted them to join us and party at our wedding! :) all in all we had the best experience and best wedding because of Reva, our guests all had a wonderful time and most importantly my husband and I where very pleased to work with them!
