We had so much fun at Funtrackers during our mini vacay in Corpus Christi! If Chuck E Cheese and a mini Six Flags had a baby, that would be Funtrackers. Hailing from Houston, we don't really have anything quite like this. The venue is not fancy, but their mix of offerings are really convenient - games, put put golf, rides, restaurant. Both my 5 year old and 13 year old really enjoyed the little rollercoaster rides, and my whole family loved the water bumper boat. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that my boat didn't work for the whole duration of play. Make sure to look for bundle deals online before you come through, or take advantage of their 50% off Wednesday special. read more

We took our 9 yr old granddaughter Saturday while in town. We dropped $100 on game credit (card). She had a blast! It was fun watching her go from game to game trying to win tickets, that she could then use to purchase junky toys. We actually had to go back on Sunday to burn the rest of the credits. We decided to drive the Go-Karts on the 2nd day which was less expensive than I expected. She was too short to drive her own so my wife and I rode with granddaughter as a passenger in my Kart. The place itself is a pretty good for blowing off steam or being entertained...when it's not busy. This truly is a high turnover establishment with the majority of workers being high schoolers so just keep that in mind when interacting with the workers. With that being said I know the manager that works there has been there for a long time and it's 50/50 with him. Sometimes he'll be understanding and accommodating other times he'll whisper under his breath that you're being a little b-word. Me and my husband spent alot of our time here out in the sun with the go karts! I wore a dress the first round karting and later realized it was more convenient to change into my sweat pants. Big shoutout to Anthony on the go kart team! He was super friendly, giving me tips to go faster, even asking my husband what he races; my husband really appreciated his curiosity! Also, I'm grateful Anthony and the karting team prioritize safety. I appreciate how each time we came by to kart, they always made sure I was strapped in correctly. They had to help me each time and were so friendly about it. I felt safe and cared for! On one of the rounds, unfortunately my kart stopped working in the middle of the track. I appreciate how they immediently took action, helping me get back on the track with a new kart before time ran out. While we were done, and were using our tickets to get prizes inside, we bumped into Anthony. He wished us a great day with a smile. Super friendly young man! We came here on our vacation with our 7yr son. I don't know who had more fun him or us! The place we very busy! We spent about 3 hours here and spent $150. Was it pricy yes but it was worth it. I would recommend looking up prices online first to see how many credits to buy. We did the bumper boats and go carts outside multiple times. Had a blast in the arcade. The prizes are very dollar tree stuff but that's any arcade prizes now days. We will be back again. read more

Came to this place on a whim with my boyfriend, and we were pleasantly surprised!! All staff wearing masks, despite the lifted mandate. Hand sanitizer everywhere, social distancing markers, etc. We didn't have an issue with capacity (we were 2/15 people here total), so it was very calm. Besides all things Covid-19, the service and environment was great. All employees were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our experience better, especially in the restaurant.The Go-Karts were really fun, the food was incredible (with huge portions) and the arcade games were for the most part, working and entertaining. I wanted something fun to do to kill time and this was the place to be. We did the go karts and had a nice time. I probably went around the track at least ten times it seems like. I went around 3pm so it was super hot. I would not recommend going at this time. Next, we checked out the batting cages. You go to the building to get a helmet and a bat. This was fun, but I was sweating like crazy after this. I needed to cool down so we went inside and played the arcade games. I wish it was cooler in there because it was hot. I had one problem in a game but the people reimbursed my credit with no questions asked. This was nice. I would have done more things outside but I went too late in the day. We wanted to have a new, fun experience with our 8 & 9 year olds, so I got a discount deal that included a pizza, pitcher of drinks, 2 Go-cart rides and 20 credits toward the arcade. My kids have never ridden go-carts before, but my niece and nephew have been here in the past and said this had a good starter track. However, after getting our passes, when we got out to the go-carts, the beginner's track was shut down. The next bigger track was open and while my 9yo was tall enough to drive, my 8 year old was too short to drive, so he had to ride with my husband. No biggie, he was ok with it. While we were waiting in line for our turn, some of the teen boys were driving aggressively and JUST before we got on, a little boy that was riding with his dad fell out and onto the track! It was mortifying to watch and my 9 yr old decided that she wanted me to ride with her, rather than driving on her own. So - she is tall enough to ride solo, BUT the rules are that if you want to have a passenger, the driver must be old enough to drive a car and have a valid driver's license! WTF?!? She was just too scared to drive on her own, so I ended up having to drive and she only got to be a passenger. It sucked, but it was already paid for, so we tried to make the best of it. -1 star We went for our pizza. I ordered half pepperoni and half cheese. He told me they were out of pepperoni and asked if I wanted sausage or ham instead. I chose ham, and I sat and waited while the kids went to each use their 10 credits playing games. Well, it turns out that because we drove and the kids rode with us, it took 2 credits off each card, so they only each had 8 credits left to use on the arcade. We could'nt find this posted at the track, nor were we informed of it ahead of time.Sucked. And while a few of the arcade games cost 1 credit per game, most were 2, 3 or 4 PER TURN! So the measly 8 credits per kid went fast. Plus one of the throwing balls games counted each ball going in twice, so it thought the game was over even though son had only thrown half the balls and still had the other half left. The whole thing felt kinda scam-like, but I guess that's how places like these make money. -1star Pizza took 25 minutes to come out, and even though half was supposed to be cheese only, the whole thing had ham on it. Decided not to wait another almost half hour to have it re-made, so the kids just tried to pick off the ham. No pepperoni and didn't get my correct order, -1star. The pizza was cut in a lot of small slices, which was nice, it tasted pretty decent too, kids were also satisfied with the taste. Pitcher of lemonade gave everyone a cup and a half, so also, not bad there. Kids got an ice cream with a topping, 2 cost $10. Ended up being soft serve, not ice cream and most of the gummy bear topping fell off my daughter's on the way to the table, but the kids still enjoyed it. We went and bought more credits so the kids could do the "Dome trampoline" after it finally opened later in the afternoon, but when we got out there for them to jump, only one of the spots was open, so the couldn't jump at the same time. The worst part was there are signs saying you can't do flips...so really you are just jumping, literally just jumping in one place, so why have harnesses? Daughter went first, said it was boring, son still wanted to go, so he did, then also agreed it was boring. Don't waste your money unless your kid has never been on a trampoline and wants to try it once...because they literally just jump in place over and over. Lots about the day seemed to not go our way, I feel like even at the deal price we barely got our money's worth. It was an experience, just not the greatest one. I don't see us going back anytime soon, which is a bummer since we were hoping it would be a cool treat for the kids throughout the summer. read more

Wife and I were in a put put and batting cages mood while on our Anniversary in Padre Island. Fun Trackers was closest establishment to quell our fix for 18 holes and hit a few pitches. Seem pretty updated and spaced out well for your typical Saturday night family fun or birthday parties. Good amount of games in arcade section and have little restaurant to help feed small parties. bumper boats, go karts, whirly coasters with addiction of building a smaller roller coaster in the moment and they have a rope course you can go through. We went back on the second day because previous day unlike hours posted say mini golf closes at 9pm even though they said it was closed around 830pm. Regardless the course is your average put put course with having you deciding to put through small hills, turns and other clever obstacles on each hole. With the last bonus hole where you put through a center hole to win ice cream. Which no big deal my wife put through for hole in one and won ticket to recieve free scoops of ice cream. Couldn't tell you how good the ice cream was because we gave it away to another kid. Down side of Fun Trackers for at least for us was the batting cages..pitches ran too low or high, which is a waste of credits to play. Most places batting cages aren't much better but that's only thing we wanted to do, other than that it's great place for the whole family if your looking for some inexpensive fun. read more

A very nice place to bring the family. We were impressed by the number of things to do at this place. My boys and I hit baseballs until we were getting blisters. We moved on to the go carts on a pro style track. They have three separate tracks located in separate parts of the park so the big kids aren't rolling over the little ones. From there the kids moved onto a bungee contraption that I had no part of. The wife and I retreated to the food area. Almost 6 hours of continuous fun for about a hundred bucks. First I have to say the packages are a great deal! 4for $44 we enjoyed the Go Karts and the Mini Gulf our first trip the Lil kids love loved the speed of the Karts! That package also included 5$ game cards and some actually very yummie Pizza and beverage! The second trip we enjoyed the 10$ Bungee and Ropes course (wear shoes with laces!) there was a small glitch with our cards and a little time getting it sorted out but Nicolas not only resolved the issue with a smile and warm personality but he also comped us 5$ game time to make up the lost time which meant a lot since getting 5 kids to sit still was a small challenge in a place that was like a candy store which he recognized and that was above and beyond customer service. All but one employee at the bungee ride were great (extended her grace she may have been having a bad day) were happy and showed care and joy in handling the children that's great leadership and team work! The folks at the cafe also showed care and were eager to serve! We will go back one more time before we head out .. while the beach is great it helps to mix it up with some cost friendly fun and support a local business! This place is so much fun! Our favorite part was riding the go carts! We had to ride in the double cars since we had our little kids with us, but they still hauled butt!!! They have 4 different tracks, one kids 3 and up can drive themselves (goes at a slow pace for little ones), there is also a "learning" one for older kids to drive themselves but don't go too too fast, the family ones with double cars and a really fast one that you can drive on but have to have a drivers license or permit to drive on! My husband and I were itching to drive that track but didn't have anyone to watch the little ones...so next time we are in town we'll have to sneak off without them for that, shhhh! There are bumper boats, bumper cars, a spin ride thing that I'd throw up on if I rode...there is also a mini putt putt course. Inside the games are reasonably priced and all "tickets" won go on your player card so you aren't shoving tickets in your socks and bra until you're done! Staff is very nice and I just love it there! On the surface this is another tourst trap with overpriced video games, not much selection and many games that are 20 years old. The Prizes are decent though and our 10yr old had fun for about 30 min with $20 credit. Go carts are nice, several tracks for different ages. The putt putt course lacks any real obstacles or traditional features (like caves, windmills, animal sculptures) but the AstroTurf is in good condition and each hole changes colors and it all flows without steps. Landscaping is beautiful. I'd come back, know you will drop $30-40 and keep your kids happy. read more

(Disclaimer: While a very proficient driver of all manner of adult vehicles, I'm very bad at go-kart. So this review includes zero info on that attraction. I'm not willing to die in a fire to write a through review.) This is my first visit to FT since its remodeling. The mini golf course is much improved but still plagued by needles from the trees surrounding the property. The arcade has been spiffed up but, sadly, that meant the sacrifice of the second air hockey table. Most games were in working order and everything seemed relatively tidy. The rock wall is gone and a carnivalesque kiddie ride (The Himalaya) has taken its place. There are batting cages & some kind of pseudo-bungee jump contraption that was closed during our visit. The staff was cordial. My only beef there was that I was jonesing for a cheery snow cone & the Snack Shack closed well before the park's closing time. Until you've fixed your mind on a tiger blood snow cone & had to settle for an Icee from Stripes, you cannot understand the depths of fructose agony! read more

This is one of the best places to go with family to have a good time here in Corpus Christi. I have five children with ages 21, 19, 12, 10, and 5. We ALL always have a good time! We have eaten at the Cafe and it is always enjoyable and delicious. Not to mention, the people that work the Cafe are very friendly and attentive. The only thing to watch out for : It can get expensive !! However they do have some weekly specials to make it more affordable for families. We got here late, an hour before closing. However, other customers here were very nice! The staff in the cafe was pleasant and helpful. The food was surprisingly good and the price not to bad for the location. Big portions on the food as well. Only lost a star because we went outside for the attractions 30min before closing and no one was there to help, my 6 year old was bummed of course. I walked inside asking for help and they said someone should be out there. There was only 1 worker and my son just got on the attraction the worker was at. Disappointed my 6 year old. Had a disappointing birthday party earlier this week. For as much as was paid, the room we were given was small and HOT. We all arrived and had no idea what we were supposed to do or where to go. It felt like we were in charge of our own party. There was a major lack of communication. When we could find the hostess, she seemed overwhelmed and unfamiliar with how a party is supposed to be. She asked if we wanted her to play games with the kids. ?? um.. YES! It was very unorganized and The 2 hours of play time was good but the actual party inside was a disaster. The following day, we got a call from the manager who offered to make up for the first party, with a 2nd party. Let me just say, we were blown away! The 2nd party was so much better than the first.
