Before going, I asked a lot of questions about the facility as we were looking for a totally relaxing experience. I booked massages and facials I was told there was both a steam room and sauna to relax in while waiting for each other to complete the services. From the minute we walked in the door we felt bad vibes. The young girl manning the front desk set the tone--no friendly greeting, slow, and uninformative when giving us a "tour" of the facility. My immediate reaction when viewing the premises was that it was old and not clean. In the "shower /steam room" (for one person), long dark hair was all over the tile and there was rust by the pipes. When I brought this to the attention of the girl, she literally said nothing. I then asked about using the sauna and she told me it was closed. Now, I called three days before our appointments asking specifically about the amenities and was not told it was broken. Walking by the "sauna room", you could see it was now used for storage. This left no options other than to sit in the relaxation room. The lounges were comfortable, but there was no reading material and the refreshments were minimal. We could hear talking and cackling from other areas of the spa from the "relaxation room" and had to close the door to minimize the noise. At one point, a dog was barking in building. The only good thing about the visit was my massage with Desiree was very good. My friends were not as impressed with their services. The final blow was during checkout. The same young girl didn't understand billing and said she could not produce a bill for the services until I paid in full. WHAT? I was literally doing the math trying to figure out what was being charged when she also informed me of a "3% convenience charge" . Again, WHAT? That was never disclosed to us nor was it mentioned on the website. The girl first told me it was the markup for the new prices in 2024. Then she told me it was a fee that went to the owner. Garbage! OK, enough of this spa. Moving on to find another one.

So I went in for a facial with Sandra. The girl in the lobby first showed me to the "relaxation…read morearea." It was nice but a little boring. The good thing is they have tea, coffee, and water. Also really clean bathroom. I got bored so I went back out to the lobby. The facial itself was very good. The room was a little small but Sandra was very professional, her hands are gentle and she knows how to give a facial. She really reads the forms that you fill out at the beginning, and she made sure she didn't use a product I am allergic to. She also gives you a massage on your neck, arms, and side of your face towards the end. You get a mask towards the end as well. The products smell really good and, again, her hands are gentle. It was a very good experience and I would go back. She uses steam which I wasn't used to, but it was interesting. My skin looks very smooth and clean. I would go back. Definitely would recommend Sandra!

Oh where to start? This place is wonderful!! Don't let the name fool you, they do massage, facials, body wraps, exfoliations, you name it! They were so friendly and very easy to communicate with. I had a massage and facial when I went along with the free steam. I have never been so relaxed and informed on my body and skin. The massage was amazing! My therapist found spots I didn't even know were tight! They got them worked out for me and I was also able to relax, I hate it when it's all just pain. The facial about put me to sleep, the therapist also did massage on my hands and feet while I had masks on. I absolutely love the product line they use. Barbara Kinney walks on water! More accurately, her hands massage aches, pain and tension away from by body. Her therapeutic massages are an essential part of my total health. Barbara and the other therapists at In Touch excel in deep muscle work. I have found relief for lower back, shoulder, neck and hip pain. I had a less than satisfactory experience with…read moreone of the massage therapists, it was a very strange massage and was unlike anything I had previously experienced there. First the essential oils placed under my face gave me quite a migraine. I have a herniated disc in my neck which I acknowledge that sometimes that could be an issue but for me this has never been a problem during massages. For some reason she placed several, and I mean several, hot towels on my neck which was immediately pretty painful as this was heavy to be placed with heat on a herniated disc, no matter how healed. Then she quite literally covered me in lotion, like a ridiculous amount where I couldn't even get dressed, barely touched me and ran out of the room, almost before I could even ask her for a towel (I was literally drenched in lotion) and before the session was supposed to be over. So I was left in more pain plus a migraine with a shortened session and covered in lotion, and I did notice that she didn't greet me afterwards to offer me water and make sure I'm doing good like they usually do here. This was all very strange and bizarre, but I assumed maybe this had to do with inexperience and wanted to leave feedback as to why this wasn't the best experience, especially since this is a luxury service that wasn't cheap. The owner called me the next day, and she was genuinely one of the most hostile and unpleasant people I had ever talked to. I am not a confrontational person, and I do think I was being reasonable in leaving feedback. She called me and told me that there is absolutely no way that any of this happened, and that she "welcomes me to not return". I told her that this was unfortunate to hear because I had such positive experiences in the past there, to which she told me I didn't go there enough times to have that much of an opinion. She kept telling me that I am more than welcome to not return, and at this point I wasn't going to but I just wanted her to tell me directly that she was banning me from returning for having a negative experience. She was avoiding saying explicitly that I could not return, but she kept insisting I was welcome to go elsewhere. I told her I would probably leave a review of the situation, to which she said "well that's not very nice of you". I told her it's not very nice to ban me for expressing concerns with my session. She hung up the phone abruptly, and the next day another staff member called and offered to reschedule me with someone else. I politely declined. I also want to mention that the ramp to get in the door is extremely inaccessible, I am a wheelchair user and it's borderline hazardous the way it is oriented. If I am to open the door, I have to be on the ramp which is difficult, or the door will push me down the stairs. If you use a mobility aid or have chronic pain I would not recommend, not because of the staff but 100% because of the owner.

My goal was to get the knots out from my shoulders, back, and calves. After about 10-15 minutes, Megan asked me about the pressure. I said she could go firmer but I didn't notice a difference. I was hoping she'd get the knots out but the massage was relaxing. Shes also very professional. Before my appointment, I received 1 phone reminder and 3 text messages (before I typed STOP because I didn't need another reminder).
