We bought a Lexington/Tommy Bahama dining table with eight chairs, we bought two high-end carpets, and we bought four Lexington/Tommy Bahama barstools with custom upholstery. There were countless problems on delivery of product, including delays, claims of shortages and much more. But the greatest issue we had was defects in the centerpiece of all it - the dining table itself. Twice the dining table that we selected was provided to us with huge areas of the table top that had not been finished. When we pointed these things out at the point of delivery, we were encouraged to give the service team a chance to make corrections. This process was always difficult and took a long time, and the end did not fix the problem. Two separate tables were delivered, both had similar issues and in neither instance was the service team able to make any correction. When it came time for a third table, we followed the suggestion of their team and chose another model of table, which arrived after a considerable time. When the third table was delivered, it was immediately clear that the table was too short - it would not allow the armchairs to be slid under the table and gave inadequate clearance between the seat of the side chairs and the side of the table itself. We objected immediately, and were told to give their service staff an opportunity to address the matter. A few weeks later, their service rep suggested that we cut off one or two inches off of each of the legs on all eight of the chairs. When we asked that they look for other options, he stated that he would request approval to put risers under the four table legs. That's when the folks of Woodbridge stopped communicating. We had to chase them, we couldn't get return calls, the sales person and the branch manager both had left the store, and no one was available to help. In the end, after weeks and weeks, we got an email from Woodbridge - not even a phone calll - telling us there was nothing that they could do and that the matter was closed. We are now seeking return of all of the product and return of all our money. The folks at Woodridge have been amazingly quiet, especially considering how much they called us in pursuit of us when we were potential customers. I cannot recommend Woodbridge interiors at all. You can pay for a premium product at Woodbridge, but their Customer Service is absolutely miserable. Latest update: after weeks of silence Woodbridge is responding by: a. denying any responsibility for suggesting products that are incompatible, b. stating it will do nothing to address the problems they created, and, c. warning that if I try to do anything to address the issues all warranties on our purchases will be voided.

They broke stuff, were slow and tried to charge me an extra $3,500 when finally done. It took them like 14 hours and the drive from A to B was only 20 minutes (one trip). For the second move (March 2026), we used Best New and Used. They were amazing. Did it all (and it was much more by this point because we had added square footage and all the contents that go with it during the 2.5 years) in 4.5 hours. Literally GONE from the new location with all desks rebuilt and everything where we wanted it in less than five hours - at a better price!!!! Claudia and her team are the best. Smart, honest, fair, friendly and hard working. A+ Moving sucks but they improved the experience for sure.

She let us take some fabrics to compare at home so we could get the right color and drew everything out for us. We loved working with her to get the perfect couch. Elizabeth on the other hand was a little more difficult. We called afterwards to get some clarification and make some adjustments but she kept talking over us instead of listening to what we wanted. She remained professional, but it was just hard to convey to her what we wanted. We luckily got it sorted out and then Erin confirmed the changes the next day. Deb in customer service is another exceptional person to work with. There were some discrepancies that did not match what we wanted when we got our delivery but she was very easy to work with and quickly resolved our concerns. Overall, we love our sectional. 1/5 -- BUYER BEWARE…read more I would seriously think twice before purchasing from Hadley Olivia. We went in on Labor Day to buy a mattress and showed them an online promotion that included two Cloud pillows and a mattress protector. The salesperson brought out Z pillows and presented them as a similar-quality option. At no point did he explain that the mattress supposedly already came with promotional pillows inside or that the Z pillows he showed us would NOT be included. And here's the worst part: I DID get everything in writing. I have the receipt. When the delivery arrived, they still refused to provide what was listed. I called the store while the delivery team was standing there, and instead of honoring the receipt I was given at purchase, Lynn refused to go by it and sent me an updated ticket instead. So my warning isn't just "get it in writing" I did, and they still didn't honor it. The entire experience left us feeling completely misled. If a customer can't even rely on the receipt they were given at the time of purchase, that's a serious problem. BUYER BEWARE. Keep copies of everything.

After repeated follow-ups -and finally a demand letter - I finally got semi-rebuilt chairs delivered May 1 2026. No one checked-in, offered an apology, or followed up through the almost 6 month process. I had to initiate everything. However, the coffee table I purchased has a marble top which is cracking, and was actually repaired right after purchase. The owner, I believe whose name is Michael, was less than happy about having to stand by his product. He has quite a temper. The real reason I'm just now reviewing them is because of what happened yesterday. A very large, $900 canvas print I purchased and had 'professionally hung' by California Design's employee/contractor, at an additional cost, btw, fell off the wall! Not only is my wall gouged from the corner of the frame hitting it as it fell, the back frame holding the wire also came apart. That will be difficult to repair because of how it was initially put together. What I am upset about is that the installer used two screws, with no wall anchor or being secured by a stud, to hold this heavy picture! Unbelievably sloppy work. It took three years, but it finally failed, which he knew it eventually would. I paid to have it hung properly, which it wasn't. California Designs is now out of business, and no wonder! Good riddance to bad attitudes and poor work ethic.

Without the staging that Michael did for a house that was a complete redo the house would've sat on the market for A LONG TIME.
