When did they start making this?

World Market is an awesome place. I've traveled all over the world and it's cool to have a store near me that has all the goodies from the places that I've been. And...they have some crazy stuff that I have never seen before. And their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I've been shopping at World Market for over a decade. They have so much stuff to look at and I always find something to take home. I have purchased furniture, rugs, bath robes, candles, planters, plates , coffee, and snacks and so much more from this location. The employees are always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to join their Rewards program. You get points for every purchase and then you get discounts .

Today i stopped by to buy Easter decoration and they have lot of the cute oneeesssss....Customer service always is the best...They are happy that they work here and you can tell from their smiley faces...The store itself has Easter ambiance...Bunnies, eggs, chocolates and everything is pinkish, orangish, yellowish, bluish and purplish...It's Spring break...it always well stocked and well organized...I live their rugs to....I ended up buying bunny chocolates and i already feel the colors and sugar crush on my way...JK...there is also plenty parking outside...

I love this store very much because the stuff here is so much fun to look at. There is also a lot of stuff for Christmas, and the people are super friendly and helpful.

My wife and I have been coming to this store for 5 years and have shopped here literally dozens of times. First, the positive. The store carries a great selection of international foods, many of which are difficult to get elsewhere. The staff are very nice and helpful. Now, for the aspects of shopping here that are frustrating to my wife and I. Often, when an item is on sale the offer has expired anywhere from days to weeks ago. A number of times I've been charged full price at the cashier because the sales tag (which has the validity dates in mice type) hasn't been updated. Then, I'll need to return the item or a manager will need to be called to do an override. Either way it takes time. Like everyone else who is a "member" I get offers to come in for "free gifts." During more times than I can count the "free gifts" have run out before I get to the store. For example, for the recent free "Biscoff" cookies promotion, the offer is valid is until February 17th. Yet today, February 16th, my wife and I were told that the free "Biscoff" cookies were all gone by Friday, February 14th --- 2 days ago. The promotions, with items that disappear way too quickly, are starting to feel like a "bait and switch" tactic to get shoppers into the store. It's important for retailers to deliver on their promises so that they are seen as trustworthy by their customers.

    Larissa Chat Set.

We purchased the Larissa Chat Set (two chairs and one small table). I just wanted to take a moment and say that this set is well made and looks pretty good. All the pieces fit together well, and when the assembly was complete, the furniture feels solid. A few of the hex head bolts were a little tough to get started and tightened. The instructions were good and pretty easy to follow. Good job World Market for choosing and carrying this set!

This is great for your skin!

    Do they have boiled peanuts?

Hi Hannah-due to short shelf life of boiled peanuts, we do not carry them in our stores. Thank you.

I stopped in Earthbound fairly close to closing one evening expecting to browse for a few minutes,…read moreand I ended up having such a positive experience with Hannah, the store manager, that I specifically wanted to write about it. From the beginning, Hannah was doing about five things at once. She was helping several customers, answering questions, sweeping and cleaning, keeping track of merchandise, and working through closing responsibilities. What stood out was that none of that translated into making me feel hurried. I actually became self-conscious when I realized how late it was and worried I was keeping her there. Hannah reassured me and continued helping me with exactly the same patience. I can be very particular about clothes once I start trying things on. I was explaining which fabrics I like, why certain styles don't work with my shoulders, that I prefer flowy silhouettes and longer wide-leg pants, and that I wanted things I would realistically feel comfortable wearing. Instead of treating all of that like I was being difficult, Hannah used it. Every time I explained why something wasn't working, she refined what she recommended next. She helped me find wide-leg cotton pants that were so comfortable I asked her to remove the tag because I wanted to keep them on. When I couldn't figure out the unusual construction of a black wrap top, she patiently showed me exactly how it worked and talked about how she styles the same piece herself. She also helped me find a beautiful purple dress that turned out to be incredibly adjustable and versatile once I got home and experimented with it. One of my favorite parts of the visit was rediscovering Earthbound's preserved butterfly displays. I bought a larger one from another Earthbound years ago during a really happy memory in my life, and I still own it today. Seeing them again immediately brought that memory back. Hannah knew the product well enough to answer my questions about the butterflies and explain what she understood about how they are sourced and preserved. I chose a smaller wooden frame with two unusual butterflies, and before I even had to think about carrying such a delicate piece around the store, she offered to put it safely at the register for me while I continued shopping. That little interaction probably sums up Hannah best: she notices things and handles them before they become a problem. I also found a Moon-themed botanical tote that happened to be the last one. By the end I had purchased the butterfly frame, tote, pants, wrap top, and dress. That sounds like an extremely successful sales job, but it didn't feel like I had been "sold" anything. It felt like somebody paid enough attention to understand what I actually liked. Even after closing time, Hannah was still patient, professional, and kind while continuing to take care of the store. It was obvious to me that she has substantial experience with Earthbound because she knew the merchandise, understood how the clothing actually fit and functioned, knew the story behind different products, and was completely on top of what was happening around her. A really good manager can make all of that work look easy, which probably means customers don't always notice how much effort is happening in the background. I noticed. Hannah is an asset to this store, and I genuinely hope Earthbound recognizes her for it.

If you're into the hippy/nature style, this is the store for you! They're always having great sales. The staff are very helpful and friendly too. The only negative for me is sometimes it smells a bit strong like incense or something and I have a sensitive sense of smell.

I went in without many expectations and ended up spending quite a bit of time browsing. We didn't buy anything this visit since we wanted to get a feel for what it was all about, but we're already planning our next trip. There's plenty of free parking, and admission is free too--which, in this economy, is definitely a win! We love that it's so close to home, and it's been a long time since we've come across something like this in the area. We'll definitely be back in July before school starts again!

Coast Vintage Market is a very cool swap meet style flea market with tons of items from yesteryear…read morethat will take you back to another time. It can almost be like a treasure hunt looking for that special item that calls out to you! Even if you aren't looking for something specific, you might find something that is awesome (to you anyway). There is definitely a wide variety of stuff, from vintage clothing, to old car emblems, home decor, old business signs, and toys that, depending on your age, might make you remember the good old days. Prices can be a bit high, and some vendors will haggle, but this isn't really the kind of market where you get an amazing deal. Most people know what they have and know the market for their stuff. Vendors are still friendly though and will chat about what they have. Located in the old Laguna Hills parking lot, it has about 10-12 rows of vendors that are about 50 yards long. Last time we went there was an agua fresca stand but no food vendors. Even though it's in a parking lot, parking can be a challenge so be prepared. Everything is under construction as the mall is closed down and the buildings are empty so people kind of just park wherever. All that said, this can make for a great weekend activity to get out and walk around. Though it is infinitely better in the morning when it is less crowded and cooler outside! Being in a parking lot there is no shade and things heat up quickly in the afternoon. Overall, a solid local experience, especially if you like flea markets.
