I contacted the owner who was responsive and helpful in determining my needs, he even offered a virtual walk through to ensure that pricing was fair. What was reassuring is that he the asked about my needs in this COVID era (I.e. number of staff in my home, temp check of his staff and me, how many people would be in the house during the service). Lamont and his team arrived promptly, removed their shoe and they put on slippers, I didn't have to provide paper towels or trash bags (a huge pet peeve with other services). I scheduled a deep clean and man did I get it! Their method of clean brought them back to my front door where they left with the trash! I was in a meeting and asked them to let themselves out - I didn't even hear them leave. I hope that my budget will allow for at least monthly service! The staff arrived almost exactly when I was told they would and the services took almost exactly as long. We moved into our house 2 years ago and between work and kids and school, I cannot say we've ever really "deep cleaned" it. I'm very happy with how good things look, especially the bathrooms and the kitchen! I was also home during the cleaning because I'm breastfeeding and didn't want to be out somewhere and have to come back quickly. The staff was really considerate of that and allowed me to simply move around the house to the areas they weren't working really easily. Also helpful: they bring all of their own cleaning supplies, take out the trash, make the beds if you put clean sheets on them, etc. There were some areas that were even cleaner than I expected (our fireplace area) and they even did some small organization where needed. My only adjusting feedback is that they missed some cobwebs along the ceilings and in corners. I was able to quickly get rid of those with a duster :) Next time I decide to do a deep clean, I will likely go with them again! I'm not financially able to do monthly or bimonthly services but if I ever do add that to my budget, I'll certainly consider Maid Brigade.

The cleaner arrived on time, stayed 15 minutes longer than estimated to make sure I was happy. She was great and polite. The apartment is SPOTLESS. She even cleaned to top of my dishsoap bottle tops! So I decided to hire cleaners. I called a bunch of people -- none of whom even responded other than Gotham. These guys sent over a cleaner within 24 hours. It came to about $150 after tax for the entire apartment - about 3.5 hours of work. I appreciated their pragmatism on using green materials where possible, and doing conventional where truly needed. Maria was wonderful and kind and very thorough. The apartment feels much more like an actual home now that it's no longer gross. If I had to nitpick, I did have to provide my own cleaning products - but it's not like I didn't need to buy them anyway for my own home.

Our sewer pipes backed up and flooded our…read morebasement, so after 45 days of living in a hotel and construction dust everywhere we hired this company to come and clean, because our cleaning arrive we have used for 5 years was out in maternity. Not only did they show up two and a half hours late, but the one gentleman that arrived finally to do a "deep clean," didn't even have a vacuum and used paper towels to basically move around dirt. He then didn't even use our dyson vacuum that we provided and moved around construction dust with our steam mop. I ended up having to go back and redo what he did, and he spent 2 1/2 hours down in our basement alone, and not really sure what he did. There was still just everywhere and he kept saying, my bad, I'll get that. He then moved up to the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom and dirt was left all over the floor. He was then on the phone saying that his mother was in the hospital and that enlarged hearts ran in his family. I asked if he needed to go, to which he replied with, "kind of." Obviously we were not going to ask him to stay to continue the clean if he needed to get to his mother. He told the company that he wanted to stay and finished the clean... yeah. Okay. We then called the company to explain that we were very disappointed with how the entire day went, and what they showed up with to do a deep clean, how such a mediocre job was done, and they said they would only charge a $50 cancellation fee, and then ended up charging us $304. Mind you I am 8 months pregnant with twins, and my husband and I were up until 11 pm cleaning our house. The woman that did all of the scheduling kept saying the she was waiting to talk to the "head" of the company. If we were this displeased, why would a manager not reach out to help us figure out the situation? So unprofessional, and charged us for a crappy job, where they only half completed the basement, a square of the kitchen and our half bath. I've gotten no response since. Keep looking around.
