Food was delicious. We wanted to find a ramen spot and we were not disappointed in our orders. It would have been nice to have more than the two options for ramen, but it was well prepared and flavorful. The noodles I especially enjoyed, since they were a little chewy. We also had appetizers and a miso soup, which was also very yummy. Service was reasonable and responsive. Music was modern and pop, too.

Great place to try eat ramen here in north avenue. Very tasty ramen and its in north avenue close to my place. Would come back to try another dish. The ambiance is very nice and the server was very prompt.

Sushi and other menu items never disappoint! Always fresh and the specialty rolls are worth the price. The service is always great. Staff is very friendly (in person dining and takeout). The ambiance is pleasant and soothing. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating in their front patio.

Don't miss out on Inari. They have an awesome lunch special and great happy hour deals. Most recently enjoyed the spicy roasted garlic miso Ramen. Their sushi is on par with the best in the area and at a good price point.

This is a very strong restaurant operation, with attentive waitstaff, fast service, and -tho we came on a wednesday- strong monday and tuesday drink specials. I'd come back for the 1/2 price wine bottles on mondays if i were w drinkers. But i came w sushi snobs so we ordered the large sashimi platter, the yellowtail carpaccio, a few premium rolls, and edamame and udon with tempura for the kiddo. Since those items came out first i will say they were expertly prepared and breaded, the udon soup was steamy and solid, and kiddo loved the udon, tho i like my udon maximalist and huge which these were not. The yellowtail was a bit saucy but really fun as a shared appetizer, and not spicy if that is a concern vis the jalapeños. The sashimi was pretty generous in portions and displayed with elegance, very instagrammable. More importantly, prepared well even if not buttery. There was a whiff of fishiness to the nose so i'd describe the sashimi as an 8/10 on freshness, very good and would order again. The rolls min in black, spicy tuna, and butterfly- were all impressively plated. The men in black i found to be excellent and unique, covered in black roe. I didnt try the other two but the spicy tuna was well received. We would definitely return and i would say its one of the better sashimi offerings and interesting menu in the western burbs.

I've recently been coming to inari for their lunch specials which are delicious and a good value for the amount of food that you get. The menu offers bento box, 2 or 3 maki specials that come with miso soup. We are always very full after eating here. The service is outstanding and the interior is nicely presented.

Really had high hopes for this place Went on a beautiful day & walked inside & the funk of old grease smacks me. So I sat outside & ordered the tempura lunch bento box & paid a $2 up charge for tuna. Not impressed at all by the food . My tempura was fried in old cooking oil & had a funky smell. The salad dressing even taste fishy. The sushi was no better than a grocery store. Best thing was my $3 Sapporo. When I d told my server about the tempura being funky she said she thinks they change the oil twice a week. So there you go... No need to ever come here again

I went to an early Saturday dinner at Inari Sushi with my love along with two of our peeps after a productive day of estate sale shopping across Chicagoland (I bought a belt!). Inari is located in Elmwood Park on a stretch of North Avenue that features numerous eateries, with more to come. There is a free parking lot just east of the restaurant shared by some of these restaurants. Since we came in for an early dinner, we had the restaurant practically to ourselves. The seating area is comfortable, and now that the weather is finally improving there are a few tables for outdoor dining. Our server was very polite and thorough if barely audible. Anything we ordered came out with minimal wait, and our water glasses were always topped off without fail. As the non sushi eater of our group, I ordered a bowl of ramen that starred a generous amount of tender pork belly along with an egg. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their orders of sushi along with a big bowl of calamari. Popular selections at our table were the Super Duper Maki roll, Asparagus Maki, Philly Maki, and California Maki roll. The beverage list includes Japanese beers, a key lime martini that one of us enjoyed, and also sake flights. The dessert menu looks very interesting but we opted not to try one this particular day.

It's a nice spot for a quick lunch!! The food was good and fresh; their lunch specials are nice. The service was quick and efficient. Nothing was exceptional, but I'd come back or get take out for lunch again.

This place is YUM! I have been checking out restaurants in the area of my new job trying to see whats good and cost efficient and Inari is definitely up there on the list now. I got their lunch special with 3 maki rolls. It comes with very yummy miso soup. Had the mini godzilla roll, Philly and Unagi rolls. Philly was by far my favorite. So good! The fried shrimp in the godzilla roll were plump and tasted fresh. I can't speak on their normal menu but their lunch is amazing. 2 rolls for $11 and 3 rolls for $15. I will 100% be back.

I've ordered delivery sushi from Inari twice during #QuarentineLife and was impressed both times. The orders came fast, accurate, and be still my organized heart: labeled!!!! No awkward having to figure out what roll is what here. Their sushi rolls are fresh and soft and come in interesting combinations. The Robusuta roll has deep fried lobster and banana in it - Yum - though most rolls $1-$2 dollars more than the traditional prices. They also have a robust menu of appetizers and a handful of larger entrees. Ordering through Grub Hub adds $1 to each dish, but makes the process easy. Definitely recommend if you're in the market for a unique sushi roll for the next takeout Tuesday.

We tried several dishes from the menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. One thing I noticed was that the restaurant stayed pretty busy the whole time we were there. I was seated immediately upon entering on a Sunday afternoon, but there's only a limited number of private booths, so I was seated at a table that was right in the path of the breeze from the door. I asked if there was anywhere else I could be seated because it was very cold out that day and was told the bar was the only other option, so not the most comfortable dining experience. Staff and service were pleasant though. I also wish they had a full bar, they mostly only had bottled drinks that, which were kind of pricey. Overall, I would return if I was in the area, but it's nothing I'll be dreaming about. Maybe the other locations are more impressive.

And the only desert available was lava cake - no mochi ice cream, but by the time we asked about desert, we really did not feel welcomed. Here is why. The thing that was annoying and uncomfortable was the feeling of being rushed and that we were keeping everyone there. We showed up at 9pm and immediately felt like we were putting everyone out. We even felt the need to reconfirm that the closing time was 10pm. People were trying to take our plates before we were finished. Waitstaff were saying they had completed their closing to the person who must have been the manager where we could hear it. When we advised the server that we did not want any more sushi, she turned at our table and yelled back to the sushi bar "no". Plates were being restocked noisily right behind us. All of this well before the 10pm closing time. This was a birthday celebration that we had hoped to relax and enjoy believing we had an hour to settle in. From the time we sat down we were given the impression that everybody could not wait until we left. This is unfortunate, since, in the past, we have enjoyed the food and the welcoming atmosphere. We decided to come to Sushi House because of the later closing time. My opinion is if the closing time is 10pm, diners should feel welcomed until that time. We did not.

What I love most is the versatility...you have the traditional sit-down dining area, and then on the other side (toward the back/left), there's the hibachi grill. Whether you're in the mood to relax and be served or want something fresh off the grill, you've got options. Now, I'll be honest, the line can get long, especially on Sundays right when they open at noon. But it's absolutely worth the wait. Everything is fresh and made to order, and I've never had a bad experience here. Some of my go-to favorites include the egg foo young, Mongolian beef, spicy egg rolls, and spicy crab rolls...but honestly, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes a difference. The atmosphere has a little bit of buzz to it, but it's not overwhelming, you can still enjoy your conversation without feeling like you're shouting over noise. Overall, this is a five-star go-to spot for me. Consistent, flavorful, and reliable every single time. If you're in the Chicagoland area, especially near Elmwood Park, New Star is definitely worth checking out.

First, I was told they were waiting for a table to open up. Then they were waiting on a cook. Finally, a staff member said the people at our reserved table were still eating and they were waiting for them to get up. When I asked when our table would actually be ready, she laughed, threw her hands up, and said she didn't know. What made the situation even worse was watching other customers walk in and be seated while we continued to wait. From what I observed, Black families were waiting extended periods of time, while White and Mexican customers were seated much more quickly. A party of 15 that arrived well after us was even seated before my group. I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by the treatment my family received on my mother's birthday. This would have been her first hibachi experience, and instead it was ruined by poor customer service and what appeared to be unfair treatment. I will never return and would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
