Sheralton gave me a facial about 2 years ago (with microdermabrasion) & it was awesome! I have melasma - the brown "mask" that appears due to sun & hormones - and Sheralton's microdermabrasion process removed the brown pigmentation & spots. I was really disappointed in the Deep Pore Facial that I received. I chose this place based on the reviews, however this may be the 2nd worst facial that I've had. The majority of the time was spent on steaming my face, and I would say that 15 minutes out of the 50 minutes was spent on actually cleaning and extracting. I would definitely recommend going to a spa where the services and environment is nicer and more relaxing. read more

If I could give Sharalton 10 stars - I would - I started going to About Face a yr/half ago after a really bad micro blading experience which he helped me to cover up with Sleek brows - he was a life saver - and I wish I had found him first. I am working on camera and had a tv show to appear on a week later and he really saved the day & made my brows look natural & amazing. So obviously - in my line of work - your brows & your face are pretty clearly captured in HD & I have to be so so careful who I let work on me. This is a one person venture, not a medspa. I had my teeth bleached and they look a little better but not nearly what I expected. And I thought I was getting eyebrow extensions but I got something called Inatural which basically looks like sculptured clay on your brows, it looked fine from a distance but close-up it's not acceptable (looks very fake and messy )and I removed it as soon as I got home. I was recently apart of a pretty bad car accident back in November. The impact caused deep cuts and bruises to parts of my face such as my nose and chin area. After speaking with Sharalton he recommended I try the Derma Pen/ Scar Revision procedure. There are so many things I just LOVE about Sharalton and ABOUT FACE, but I will simply touch upon the TOP TEN... 1. The Location...easy to get to and easy parking in front. 2. The Atmosphere...the studio is charming and elegant all at the same time. The colors are soothing and it just lends itself to relaxation. And it is 1 on 1. 3. Sharalton welcomes you with a "BFF" attitude. 4. He also knows when you may be in the mood to talk or simply take in the silence. And if you start to snore, he doesn't seem to mind! 5. He is a perfectionist...so whatever procedure you get, just know that it will be done perfectly! Lashes and Brows especially... done flawlessly!!! 6. I am 59 years young and never was one to be consistent with a skin regiment. But after getting a micro-dermabrasion and seeing how my skin was the best it ever looked, I was all about my routine. Sharlalton told me what do and I did it...with great results! The glow was undeniable and the fine lines were almost gone! 7. There is NO hard sale....if fact, I wanted to know what else I could do...and the Micro Needling was explained....and the results were astonishing! It took 10 years off my face. Omg! Sharalton is the absolute best! He's as much a perfectionist about eyelashes and eyebrows as I am. I walked in because of his great reviews, but warned him that this was my last attempt at eyelashes. I had gotten so many poorly done eyelash extensions that I had basically had it! Well, he was fabulous! He listened to me and kept working at it until I was completely satisfied! He's really knowledgable and actually listens to what you want as a customer! I've had lash extensions in the past with wonderful results so I didn't hesitate to give About Face a try. The atmosphere of this place is pleasant and Sharalton is nice so I felt comfortable. However after my lashes were done and went to open my eyes, he had accidentally glued a few of the bottom lashes to the top lashes so I couldn't open them. A few lost lashes and stinging solution later, my eyes were so red and kind of sore. But my lashes looked pretty good. I went to bed and woke up to find several lashes on missing. Okay, so that's a bummer. I decided to wait longer than suggested before getting them wet to prevent the loss of more lashes. Within 4-5 days, most of them were gone and I looked like a weird version of Tammy Fay Baker. I've never had that happen with lash extensions before. When you spend a couple hundred dollars on something, you expect it to last more than 5 days. Maybe it was defective glue or the application - I don't know. But a nice atmosphere and pleasant conversation isn't enough to make me overlook the fact that my lash extensions at About Face were an epic, ugly fail. I won't be going here again. read more
