Clean and professional. Rooster designed and has started an amazing chest piece for me. I need to get over and get it finished but it is beautiful even almost done. Full color, amazing work. Rooster is a great guy. Kind of quiet when he works. He has a pretty light hand, like I said above he did a full chest piece on me and it didn't really hurt as bad as I anticipated. It healed well and now I just need to go back and get it finished. The only downfall is I couldn't bring the husband to entertain me for the time I was there. Rooster did not disclose his plans for the tattoo in the initial consult or in the 10 minutes he took preparing on the actual day of the tattoo. When I presented a drawing at the consult and showed him the specific location, and stated that I wanted an oil painting effect with minimal outlining, he stated that he could do that. He didnt say: 'I don't do small.' Just that he could do the tattoo as I indicated by presenting a sketch, online examples of the style, and pointing to the specific area on my forearm that I wanted the tattoo, and that it wouldn't take the whole session. I paid the 100 deposit and scheduled. The freehand drawing on my arm extended slightly beyond the boundaries, but did not indicate a forearm sleeve. Also, he had me wait in the lobby while he set up. That makes me really nervous now as he had double-booked that day and had just finished another tattoo. I wasn't aware 600 bucks for a 4.5 hour session resulting in an unfinished tattoo is a great deal. Last point: business owners who don't like bad reviews have the option of listening to their customers and doing a good job of providing exceptional service and products. Vanessa is awesome! I had 3 cartilage piercings done 3 years ago at some piercing shop that was charging $10 a piercing and thought "why not?!" Well 3 years later, 2 of the 3 piercings are still completely not healed and very painful, not to mentioned I could not take them off myself because of the pain. I found Vanessa Tru on Instagram, and told her all about my ear. I eventually set up an appointment for the next week. Vanessa recommended that I have the 2 troubled piercings removed due to the angle they were sitting at. She thoroughly explained to me why they were never able to heal correctly, and explained that keeping the piercings would not be the best choice. So she effectively removed my earrings without any pain at all and replaced the one earring that actually healed properly with better jewelry. I will definitely be going back to Vanessa as soon as my ear is done healing so I can get hopefully get it re pierced by her! She is now my new piercer! Horrible tattoos by proclaimed "award winning tattoo artist" I got my tattoo done in may of 2014 while I was temporarily stationed in San Antonio I was eager to get my first tattoo and I really regret letting Stephanie do my first tattoo. She was texting on and off throughout the whole tattoo, she even received a phone call that she took and I could tell she was making plans so the whole thing felt very rushed. The tattoo looked okay up until it healed after that I just hated it more and more. Now I'm stuck paying close to 400 to get her shitty line work fixed, and to get the color redone to make it look like a decent tattoo. While my new tattoo artist was doing all the line work she pointed out how many times she colored outside the lines, or lines that she didn't blacken. Honestly this place probably feeds off having so many fresh young military people nearby, and that's wrong. quit giving shitty tattoos. read more

About 2 weeks ago, I took my best friend here to get her nose pierced and Ian took us in. We were comfortable when we first walked in but as soon as she got in that chair, he did not know how to calm her down. When he did the piercing, she started crying, and saying how it hurt really bad, and all he would say is "it's not that bad". When she went to pay, he told her she would be paying for a cleaning solution separately, without her consent... Obviously something he did to get more money in his pocket. After 2 days, again, the bar was too short for her piercing, and the stud was beginning to embed itself in her skin. When she took it out, she called Ian and he said there was nothing he could do for her, not even refund the cleaning solution that she hadn't used because she originally had a bottle of it at home. Horrible customer service, we will not be returning. read more

Man I was super shocked to see this place had such a low rating. I went to this shop months ago and realized I never reviewed it. I had a micro dermal and straight up neglected it but i never had any problems with it. After five years it started to reject in the worst way and very rapidly. Eventually the "foot" cut a second hole in my face (mostly likely from my daughter pulling on it) so you could actually see it coming out of my face. The problem was when I got the implant I asked the piercer (5 years ago in some shady shop) to put it as close to my eye as possible, he then gave me the sharpie and told me to mark where I wanted it so my dermal was extremely close (like a centimeter or less) to my eye. I Went to about three shops to get it removed, they didn't seem very confident that they wouldn't damage my eye in the process or flat out refused to touch it. I called inception explained what was going on to Ian and he told me to come in so he could take a look. He was extremely nice funny comforting kind informative and helpful. I was super nervous and he was totally chill and professional. He made it extremely easy to put my trust in him. Not only did he basically do surgery on my face he explained what to do to keep it from scarring as well as vitamins to take to help the healing process and gave me tips on how to recognize a professional piercer. When we were leaving he give me his number in case I had any problems. I forgot to mention during the "procedure" he helped me breathe through the pain and even helped my husband who got a little whoozie while watching. Honestly it was the best service I have had anywhere EVER! Ian was amazing. When I'm ready for some more piercings I'll definitely be going to him read more

Went in last Friday to get my navel re-pierced by Vanessa Tru, I found her on a fb repost and checked out her website. She had everything you would like to know, as far as piercings go.Just going on her website made me feel confident and comfortable enough to go in and actually get my navel done. The first time I got it pierced it wasn't put in deep enough and also not put in the right position for my body shape ,so it ended up rejecting. I was left with a scar that was less than flattering in my opinion. But any-who when I went in she looked at my navel and basically explained that it would have to be pierced higher and deep than a traditional navel piercing.She showed me examples of what mine would look like and I was down for it. She also showed me the different jewels that she had in stock and said if I wanted to get a custom piece she could order it but I fell in love with this pretty opal flower as soon as she put it down on the glass counter top! After I picked out my piece she took me to her private room, got things ready and had me stand up to find the perfect placing.I like that she took her time to make sure it was in the perfect position. She made me feel like she was defiantly the right person to go to. After that I laid on her chair and followed her breathing instructions and before I knew it I had my piercing!!! It was like a little sting but if you can do your ear lobes you can do your navel ! I absolutely love it!!! Like she said from the jump, it's not a traditional navel piercing and I think that's apart of why I love it even more, kinda looks like a dermal but it's sooo cute and gives me more motivation to workout. Which she said I could do even right after I got it. She also recommended I get the aftercare cleaner, which I use 3X a day, it doesn't hurt or sting. They sell it at the shop for $12. I'd rather be safe than sorry and end up with an infection. But I've had it for about a week now. I feel no pain and I'm very cautious with it! She polite but I told her I wanted a cover up but didn't know of what she got frustration in her voice. Miss Stephanie's phone rang so she said to look at her book(past tats) . SO, when she got off the phone, I went into the room where she tats and she was texting so I said so you think you can help me.
