After Incredible Auto Sales failed to get my permanent registration in time, a staff member told me that I could just keep driving despite my temporary registration being expired because cops won't enforce the law. So they made a mistake and then told me to just go ahead and break the law. Then, when I went to get a second temporary registration, another staff member acted as if they had made amends for not getting my permanent registration in time because they were providing a second temporary registration. Never mind that I drove four hours round trip to get this second temporary registration. I tried to address the problem of Incredible Auto Sales not getting me a permanent registration, but they didn't answer and didn't return multiple calls. I would say that the review isn't a one star because the car was at a good price, but the CD player went out just a few weeks into owning it and the air conditioner is rather bad, as it has been since I've owned the vehicle. So the only reason this isn't a one-star review is because they at least provided screws and a screwdriver to put my license plates on, once I finally did get the permanent registration. read more

I purposely wanted to purchase a car from a small "family owned" type place so I wouldn't have to deal with the typical crap. It started out well, the salesman was nice and pleasant to work with. Then I dealt with the lady that actually sells you the car. She was terrible! She didn't work with us on our trade in. And did not budge on the sticker price. Like both at all!! The only time I've ever gone for a test drive and had the vehicle die in the middle of the road after having gone through their so called "multi point inspection". My pregnant wife, 5 year old son, and mom with Parkinson's got stuck on the side of the road. My wife calls them to tell them the vehicle died about 1 minute drive from the car lot (probably more like 30 seconds from the car lot), they tell her they'll be there in a minute, 10 minutes goes by and the guy shows up as a passenger in another car, doesn't get out, just pulls up next to us and says "It's okay?" No it's not okay, so he says okay I'll be right back, another 10 minutes goes by and they show up with another vehicle with a gas can and battery charger. We left as soon as we got back. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, it was unprofessional the whole time as it was, people in the office wearing stained t-shirts, yelling they were trying to eat instead of helping customers, and the vehicles all look a lot worse than the pictures make them out to be online. They may have clean carfax reports, but that doesn't mean they're in good shape or haven't been in an accident that simply wasn't reported, as I could tell from the one I looked up, but that was missing a blinker and looked like it side swiped a pole. Either that or they're committing some type of fraud. Either way, stay clear of here, it's not worth it to risk spending thousands of dollars for something you're going to have to fix a week after it leaves the lot, just don't do it. read more

Car buying is so tedious, but our experience with Spencer was nothing but smooth, no hassle and an all around great car buying experience. With that being said, our car failed within 5 days of purchase. Under their "5 day warranty" we brought the car back to be fixed. The dealership has reluctantly provided a loaner vehicle while our car issue is addressed. It has been 2 months and my car issue still not fixed. The communication within this company is a complete joke and the service manger will not return a phone call or provide updates. IAS took the car to Young VW for resolution. VW has provided the needed fix and has been waiting over a week to hear from IAS with their instructions. I am told the owner of this company is aware of my predicament and allegedly is working on it, but when I called VW this morning they said they still have not heard from IAS yet. At this point I am extremely frustrated. I called to speak with the general manager in Bountiful and she refused to talk to me. I told the gentleman on the phone at this point I just want all of my money refunded. It looks like I'm facing a legal battle. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a car from this dealership. They are very dishonest, I called in on a vehicle and drove 40 min to see it, by the time I arrived they uped price on the vehicle by 1,000 dollars. They said had just got the car, but it had been listed for over a week. It also falsely advertised miles and color. Don't list a car unless ready to sell! They blantenly falsely advertise your vehicles. Despite these red flags i stilled looked at the car and found that the car had a bad gash in the tire and you could see the inner lining which extremely unsafe. When I told them about it, they said it wasn't a problem. They are terrible to even let someone test drive a car like that. Someone could get seriously hurt or cause a fatal accident. This dealer sold me a a dangerous/unsafe vehicle. After driving the car I purchased from them for a time, I eventually became aware that the thing showed dangerously uneven braking during an emergency stop, and poor emergency handling (e.g., trying to swerve to avoid an obstacle). I spent weeks trying to figure this car behavior out. Finally, I found that someone had replaced one of the 17" wheels with a 16" wheel!!! I attempted to inform the dealership manager that she had sold me an unsafe vehicle. I suggested that either one of her mechanics stuck the 16 inch wheel on the car during their prep to sell it, or they failed to inspect the care adequately before selling it. I asked her to simply trade me the 16 incher with a good used 17 inch rim and tire. The manager initially asked me to provide photos of all 4 tires, which I did. However, she thereafter got cold feet about the photo evidence and ultimately, denied all responsibility. Let me quote her text message: "There is no way of us knowing the car was like this.". Oh, really? And, so, she expects each prospective buyer to check all 4 tires before purchasing thier car to make sure they are all the same size?, Obviously, their "expert mechanics" did not do so before selling me the car; or, if they did, they failed to disclose this dangerous condition to me. The manager also provided a written statement from her inspection company attesting to the fact that the car has been thoroughly inspected and was safe. If you check their website, you will see claims that among a long list of things, they check rims and tires.......NOT, obviously. I will update this rating if the problem is resolved satisfactorily, but if there is no update, then all I can say is, beware of shady car dealers out there. read more

I would avoid this dealership at all costs. We bought a used BMW and paid $8000 cash. They assured us it had been checked out and was in good condition. Within 2 wks we were into major repairs. Twice we have had to take it into the shop to have seals replaced, an alternator replaced , a water pump, battery cable, window seals throughout and then new brakes. The worst part is we can't get the plates or license. The temporary has long expired and my son is driving without proof of ownership. We have repeatedly called the dealership and they say they will take care of it but don't! They are unscrupulous and lie. It's a shady operation. If we hadn't paid cash the car would be back on their lot for some other smuck! We have since learned they rolled back the mileage and there probably isn't a title. The DMV has no record of one or any submitted paper work. Sounds like a lawsuit on top of everything else! read more

*BUYER BEWARE, STEER CLEAR*. Company buys cars bulk from auctions, does minimal due diligence on their condition, slaps a decent price and hopes for a sucker to bite. My experience with this dealer was bizarre and ultimately disappointing. I bought a car from them in January, which I saw listed online. The car seemed to be in good order and was listed for a competitive price. The first odd thing about them is they suggested I pay for a 3rd party inspector, whom they referred me to, to inspect the car on my dime. This is a bit strange considering I am out of state and haven't even decided on buying it yet. They should pay for their own comprehensive inspections and show the report. After negotiating and fixing a few issues, I agree to fly out and buy the car. When I got there, the keys didn't work for the locks and I had to wait nearly 3 hours for a locksmith to fix the locks...everything else was okay, other than a cracked front window which I was not told about. Months later when the weather gets hot, I find the AC doesn't blow cold air- despite the inspector claiming it did. It was a major issue with the compressor which costed about $1700 to fix. Incredible auto sales refused to contribute toward this bill, even though this problem obviously came with the car. Somehow no one, including the inspector they referred me to, found this issue? Incredible Auto sales demanded we try to sort things out over text (unprofessional, call or email is better for these issues) and was short and rude with me. I only wished they would do the right thing and at least help out with the repair cost. Overall, they earn their 1 star review. Seriously, stay away. As an added bonus, they tried to damage control this review on google by claiming the above is "dishonest". It is not. They in fact were dishonest in their "retort". read more

They sell crapily rebuilt cars with salvaged titles. Even if they say the title is clean, you'll want to check it out for yourself before purchasing any vehicle here. Try running the vin number for yourself through a legitimate dealership for trade in. They were absolute that a vehicle we were looking at had a clean title but it did not. They showed us info on their computer to try to convince us, but when we checked it out for ourselves we found it had previously been totaled. We also had taken it to a tire & brake place & had them look at it & they couldn't believe just how bent up the frame was & how crappy it had been pieced it back together after an accident. After researching the internet and zeroing in on a group of cars that seemed to match our criteria I found that 6 of them were at Incredible Auto Sales. I went with the usual intimidation feelings that exist in typical purchase a used car situations. I met with Franklyn and was impressed with his professionalism, courtesy and responsiveness. It became quickly obvious that he was very honest and open, and that he was concerned about our needs as well as those of his firm. The 2009 car naturally had a few shortcomings which he was quick to address. We were able to resolve all of them and maintain a fair price. He was wonderful to deal with. Likewise with the lady who wrote up the paperwork to finish the deal. All in all it was a very positive, win win situation. We will recommend them to anyone and everyone we hear of that wants to be served with fairness and respect. read more

And supposedly I got "approved " for. Decided on a better vehicle and then asked to make a deposit to "hold it" of $500 then the next morning was told I got "denied " for the better vehicle and asked for a $2,000 down payment for a car worth the same as my trade in. They just wanted to get rid of the crappy car to get my good trade in and they can make more money , but wouldn't take make my trade-in for the same valued vehicle because they know they wouldn't be able to scam me out of more money! It put me in a very dangerous situation. I called them back multiple times over the course of 2 weeks. They didn't seem concerned that they sold me this faulty car or for my general welfare. I didn't get a response or at the very least a voicemail. I'm very disappointed with their customer service and quality of their safety inspections. Paid 5000 dollars for the car just to turn around and have to replace the battery, all 4 wheels and tires, and I had to replace the belt that runs the whole car including whatever part it was attached to due to the fact it was eating the belt. I just bought a 2013 Ford Focus SE for my daughter on 1/26/2019, she drove it home 20 miles. The next day was Sunday, she did not drive it, The next day she went to school, drove the car 8 miles. Pulling into school, the power steering went out, she struggled to get it parked. A light came on Assist steering malfunction, service required. Not happy. They sold me a Honda Pilot here with 107k miles, and they claimed to have taken care of the timing belt and transmission issues. 1-when I left, the transmission fluid was so low it didn't register, and 2-they didn't change the timing belt. After 5 weeks of owning the car I should have the plates by now and now I find out I won't have them for almost another month. My children bought me a car for my birthday. We went to Incredible Auto Sales in North Salt Lake to look at a used Buick. The salesman pointed out several little things that they would repair for us, if we bought the car. The finance officer agreed and put about half of what we discussed down in a written agreement. Because we were so excited about the car, we failed to notice the list did not mention every repair item discussed verbally with the salesman. We emailed, faxed, and called the dealership, but they ignored our attempts to schedule repairs. My daughter called them and left a message saying we would drop the car off July 26th, 2019. On my birthday, we took a small vacation to Ogden Canyon and dropped the car off on our way out of town that day. The salesman met us at the dealership, went over all the items they would fix, and showed us where to park the car. When we returned to pick the car up two days later, it was evident the car had not been moved from that spot. They had rigged the front seat adjuster to appear as if they had fixed it. However, the seat has since slipped back five times. When I took the car into two different Buick dealerships, they showed me that the adjuster was still faulty. In addition, none of the other promised work was started. The Incredible Auto Sales General Manager stated that the salesman was new and that they don't usually repair things after the car is sold. When we bought the car, we received a We Owe You list. It showed all the things the dealership had promised to repair after we purchased the car. We were very disappointed with their unethical behavior and do not recommend doing business with them. read more

The sales man was a stock up unhelpful man. The customer service was really bad. Also their cars are so crappy they won't even start! I went to look at a Nissan 350Z and it wouldn't start, after 10 minutes of trying it finally started; the oil cap wouldn't not come off, and the convertible roof was not working properly. When I told him about the oil cap instead of offering help so I could check it he said that with a tool it could be removed and that I should do it my self. Then I tried to test drive a bmw and the clutch was messed up and it had no gas. The guy wasn't helpful, he was stuck up, and he claimed that he sells over 100 cars every month and that's how he keeps the price "so low" so he couldn't take any money off the asking price. The asking price was pretty high. I did end up going to the Toyota dealership just down the street from them... they were extremely helpful and had a white Nissan 350Z in very good conditions, everything was working and it was even less than what this people were asking for. I bought it right there and then... I've had the car for a month and it works great! This guys have very crappy cars and are very bad at selling them. Stay away from their cars! My 18 year old son put money down on a car here, had to put about 500$ in immediate repairs into it. After having the car for about 6 weeks and not knowing where to make a payment to he reached out to his salesman who at that time told him they weren't able to get financing for him. Really? Why did we have to reach out to you after a month and a half? My son happily returned the car immediately and was told he would be refunded for the money. Salesman stopped replying to requests for the down payment refunded after we waited for another month. Finally had to dispute charges with the bank and my son still out the money he put into fixing the car. They sell you a piece of crap, knowing fully well that it is crap, and when you decide to have it exchanged, they change it for another piece of crap, but also increase the price of the car while you're test driving it to make sure it is not crap.
