The gentlemen Jarel and Hazen treated my son well. My son and I arrived on the lot and was led to Jarel. Jarel was the one that responded to my son's email right away yesterday and set up this appointment. My son was able to test drive an all-wheel challenger and was pleased at how well it drove. There wasn't anything wrong that stood out. A gouge on one of the tires but it wasn't bad and the tire is fine. The rest of the car is great. Mr. Hazen is the manager and handled the trade in with my son's car smoothly. So, I had written this review before the end of the sales and it's set up this way. I recommend waiting until all sales are final and here's why. We get to the last guy Mr. Laird and found out there's a tracker put into the car and you get charged just under $1500 for that. No choice. I didn't like that at all. We let it go since it was already in the car. Not right though. read more

Update: Colton the sales manager (decent guy) stepped up and tried to make this right after being on the phone all day back and forth. They agreed to refund the full amount of the GAP insurance and Warranty we didn't want. As on now after 3 weeks, we have not received the refund which is alarming. I'm almost at the point of reaching out to an attorney. I'll keep you updated if they follow through. Regarding the misaligned trunk, broken seals on the taillights, and other bad body work; Colton did arrange a loaner car and the vehicle was fixed at the Paint Spot and is no longer flooding the trunk. I'm not sure how the car made it to the lot in the first place; if there was a 150-point inspection completed. Here are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) They will try to sell you a vehicle monitoring system that is $50 GPS tracking unit that is connected to your OBDII system. They wanted $1799 for it, and they say it can't be removed. It has two tabs to remove the unit in about 10 seconds; Later the salesman said we could pay for a year then they will remove it.... this was a complete lie. Don't Pay it! 2) They tried to add on a carbon credit fee of $200 which no one could explain what it was. 3) Their dealer fee is $699 which is on the high side and the highest I've come across in Utah. 3) Branded cars have no manufactures warranty left, you have zero warranty on their cars. They will offer you a warranty and in my son's case they said it was $2,200 off but the contract was $4500 for a warranty, he thought it was $2200 total????? They also said it was through America Frist CU and it could be cancelled if no claims were made. Of course, when I looked at the paperwork it wasn't with America First.... 4) The next morning after driving the car home he noticed the trunk was leaking, the taillights were full of moisture, and the trunk is out of alignment. We had an autobody tech look at it and he said there were numerous panels out of alignment and the car should not have left the shop. We went into the dealership Monday morning and asked to return the car and get our down payment back. They said it's his fault and he should have checked the vehicle (it was dark at night when he saw the car). I would get the car checked out at a local body shop before signing anything FYI. read more

They switched vehicles during the process. We knew it was a different color but was told all the options were the same. Then we found out the salesperson lied about the options and especially the reason the title was brtanded. We finaly got a hold of Carpart in Texas to find out the car had been flooded up to the windows. The service department tried to fix the electrical but it never was right. Had to sell the car at a loss. By the way. The Warranty Company, Endurance is the worst. We had four claims denied. All for reasons that were "covered" but NOT in the FINE PRINT. ENGINE FAILED AFTER 62 DAYS. AUTO SAVVY WARRANTY, RIGHT??? NOT YET, AND I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR 2 MONTHS!!! I bought a car here back in November of 2025, and have regretted it ever since. I like to wait to submit any reviews until after everything is "done," so I get a fair view of the whole process. For the last 4 months, I have been dealing with them almost every single weekday since, and I'm still not "done" with the process. I feel anyone interested in reading reviews, or doing business with Auto Savvy, should know how my experience has been so far. If something changes, I can always update my review, when (and IF) the nightmare is over. I have discovered issues with how the car was represented/sold, the financing was a joke, there were mistakes made on the contract, the Title/Licensing (which I paid the DMV to fix, hoping Auto Savvy would reimburse me for the error on their end), and finally, the "4,500 Mile / 120 Day Comprehensive Warranty" doesn't mean anything if they can't/won't complete the repairs. I drove the car for 62 days before I had to tow it (at my expense) to Auto Savvy of Woods Cross for mechanical issues. They confirmed I was within my warranty coverage, and after weeks of coordination back and forth, and their service center trying a couple minor things, they determined the ENGINE HAD FAILED, and would need to be replaced. They said they would be moving forward with the replacement, and gave me a loaner car to drive in the meantime (which I appreciated, as it offered a little accommodation in a terrible situation). Unfortunately, even though they acknowledge I am within the warranty timeframe/mileage limits, and AM ELIGIBLE FOR A CLAIM, they are not willing to replace the engine with a new one (due to cost), and their service center is not capable of finding a used one in acceptable condition, let alone properly handle the job to replace it. The first engine they ordered was fundamentally wrong, which they were not aware of, until they provided me with the details. It's not as if I wasn't happy with the condition, or was concerned about the reliability, it was just 100% incompatible for this model/year of car. They would have figured it out eventually, but I felt it was important to point it out now, so they didn't pull everything apart and be stuck trying to find the correct engine. Believe it or not, they acted like I was the one who screwed up, and had to basically start the replacement process over. The 2nd engine they ordered, ironically had the EXACT SAME mileage, which I thought was suspicious, but now I was told it had a build date which was within the requirements for this car. My repeated requests for more info on this engine were completely ignored. Considering the issues with the first attempt, I wanted to know where it was bought, a photo of it, a serial/series number, an invoice, if the seller offered a warranty, details on the reason for removing the engine from the donor car, was it rear ended, or did it hit a pole head on??? Just concerns anyone would have when replacing something that decides the value of my investment. Anyway, the timeframe to receive the 2nd engine at their shop came, and I couldn't get ahold of anyone to verify if we were moving forward. I made countless attempts to see if they had inspected the engine. I asked for a few simple tests before it is installed, which they initially said wouldn't be covered under the policy, so I'd need to pay for them. Ridiculous. Finally, I'm told this 2nd engine was obviously not going to work, and it was returned before any tests even needed to be done. At this point, I believe they just ripped everything apart, tried to shove the "1st-wrong" engine in my car, believing I was wrong, and never even tried to source the correct one. They haven't provided any proof otherwise. After all, what are the odds of the mileage on one engine, which was made in 2016 (incompatible with my car), matching exactly what another engine has, which was apparently made 7 years later, in 2023 (which, if it was, would be compatible). I have lost all trust in Auto Savvy to repair the vehicle, and they refuse to make this right by either outsourcing the repair to a qualified service center, or reimbursing me for everything I've lost in this process, and buying the car back. Currently, I'm seeking legal representation to see what my options are, while the car I make my payments on, is probably torn to shreds as some experiment. The Woods Cross service center no longer responds to me at all and they've had my car for more time than I did. They have completely cut me off, which is pretty disrespectful, and shows how little they value their customers. Really, no end in sight here. Sure wish I hadn't traded in my last car here. Now, i'm stuck driving a dealer loaner (which I'm sure they'll revoke soon), paying WAY more than I should be, on a loan for a car that is worth next to nothing because it doesn't drive. read more

The worst service department I have ever dealt with. Incompetent individuals running that department, even the "self-proclaimed" boss that sits up in the office knows nothing of what is going on in the department and when asked questions. Gives an answer of " I do not have an answer for that." In my mind means he is either trying to cover his own butt or honestly knows nothing. Absolute disgrace to the dealership and that 3rd party company that's attached to Autosavvy needs to be removed. The warranty they offer on their vehicles is just as bad and will be leaving a review for them as well. Buyer beware, do not go with this company when having work done on your vehicle or the warranty if offered. read more

This place really deserves zero stars. I bought a vehicle from the Woods Cross facility a few months ago and the first problem is it immediately had to be sent to the shop for repairs. The second problem is they have zero customer service. I don't exaggerate this after dozens of attempts I have never had anyone answer their customer service line. Go ahead and call them and see for yourself (801) 683-0821. Each time my vehicle goes into their shop it's 2-3 weeks before I get it back. The promised loaner car does not exist. Warranty allows for taking the vehicle to an outside shop but autosavvy won't approve the repairs as not qualified yet they initially approved and began the repairs themselves. Don't go visit them unless you are ready to buy same day. We went in to discuss the idea of buying a branded truck and after 45 mins of them explaining why a branded title was the way to go, they wouldn't even show us anything on their lot because we weren't ready to buy today. We have never purchased a branded truck before and wanted to look at them before we spent $36k - $40k on one. We told them our plan was the end of the month. The comment from the salesman was "we don't want to waste your time or ''my" time". There were at least 7 other employees in the office and I didn't see any other customers. I would have understood if they were swamped but my expectation was they at least walk us out to see a few options. We won't waste our time in the future going back there. read more

I bought a truck from this Woods Cross locatio over a month ago. They lost it for 2 1/2 weeks during a simple transfer to their Lindon store. After I finally picked it up, and had my mechanic look it over, it has over $10,000 in repairs that need to be done. I have called almost daily for most of September 2025, and they continue to "Ghost" me. I think they are hoping to wait out my warrantee, so they won't have to fix it. I had a terrible experience with this dealership. It started out fine as I was looking into buying a mercedes amg with them and I had good back and forth discussions with one of their sales people. Unfortunately however that salesman represented to me a price including an extended warranty which I had made clear was an absolute necessity if I was going to buy the car given my concerns about used cars. On the basis of the pricing information and the warranty I ordered an inspection. Post the inspection the manager informed me that an extended warranty wasn't available on this vehicle after all. I told him what his sales man had said repeatedly and he said that the sales man was just wrong. I asked him to refund the inspection cost given the misrepresentation on the warranty but he just ignored all my emails. I would not recommend anyone buy from them. Just bought a new Honda HR-V from them and had a fantastic experience. It was truly night and day compared to the last time I bought a car. Shout out Nico, Jordan, and Hazen for giving me a fantastic price, waiving fees, and walking through which services/warranties actually make sense for me. I didn't catch the name of the financer, but he took the time to make sure I understood each document and said he tries to treat customers the way he'd want HIS daughter treated and it shows. I came in distraught after getting the news my current car was a total lemon with transmission issues. They gave me a higher-than-expected trade in value as if it was in excellent condition instead of at deaths door. I wasn't expecting to buy that day, and Nico stayed late to helped me move ALL of my gross still packed camping stuff out of the old car. I'm not the only one that felt good walking off the lot. I overheard another salesperson telling an older couple ways to save money on re-keying their car with someone else. Later, I congratulated another buyer; he must have gotten a good deal too because he paid to have my tank filled. Good people. Good atmosphere. Good price. Strongly recommend. read more

AutoSavvy Review While the sales team here was amazing, the service team left something to be desired. When I test drove the vehicle I bought, we noticed that the AC wasn't working. The sales rep said that they would make sure that it was either fixed or replaced, not just recharged. However, the service team proceeded to just recharge it. It worked great for a week. When I took the vehicle in to get recall services done (AutoSavvy doesn't do recall work), I was told that the Cabin Air Filter needed replaced, the Transfer Case needed work, the Rear Differential needed work, the Fuel Injectors need cleaned, the Throttlebody needed service and the AC needed fixed. After that I tried calling the service department and using the text system and couldn't get a response for 3 days. The following week, I finally got ahold of a guy named Devin, who asked me to send over the quotes for all of the services that needed to be completed (that honestly SHOULD have been done prior to selling the vehicle) & sent him over the quotes. 3 more days went by and...nothing. I called again and talked to Ross. Ross had Devin text me, he said "Sorry for the delay. It looks like im going to have to call the shop and get a more in depth estimate from them before I will get any approvals." I gave him the direct line to the Service Manager to get in touch with him. 2 more days go by...nothing. I called again again and talked to a third guy who says he'll have someone call me. It has now been 3 weeks since I bought the truck and I still haven't gotten a date for service. Finally I got a call back to schedule service another 2 weeks out. About a week later I get a text saying "it looks like all of the estimates you have from Ken Garff are all standard maintenance items based off of the mileage of the vehicle, unfortunately all maintenance items are not covered under our warranty." I have driven less than 1000 miles since I bought the vehicle. All of these maintenance items should have been done before selling the vehicle since they are "Standard Maintenance", also, now they won't even cover the AC that was supposed to be fixed. Bottom line....DONT BUY FROM AUTOSAVVY unless you are ok with paying for a bunch of maintenance items that they should have already fixed. read more

On their website it says "At AutoSavvy, each and every vehicle passes through a 151 point inspection". Well, this is a complete lie. I'm only submitting this review to prevent others from getting into the mess I am now facing with my vehicle. It's not drivable, and there's zero urgency to get this resolved after 80 days of haggling with these guys. I purchased a 2023 Chevrolet vehicle that arrived with a severely defective tire, damaged exhaust, frayed fan belt, leaking radiator, bad transmission, and out-of-alignment front end. What's really frustrating is that AutoSavvy, as a company, has placed zero urgency on getting the issues fixed. They actually had the vehicle at one of their service centers for a month, and the issues are still not resolved. AutoSavvy has mastered the delay tactic. You can test this by calling any phone number for any of their locations. Notice that you are directed to a live person if you select sales. However, if you select customer service, you get a response that they will text you, and you never get a live person. This is a huge red flag. Also, they've figured out how to operate like this legally because they have 20 locations nationwide in 10 different states. The only way to stop these guys from consistently ripping off folks is to bring awareness and not do business with them. Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AUTOSAVVY. read more

I purchased a vehicle from AutoSavvy in 2022. The buying experience was par. My issues didn't come up until a couple years later when my battery died, and I needed to use the mechanical key to get into my car... The key didn't work on any of the locks in the car. Intentional or not, I was sold a car with a non-functioning mechanical key. When I tried to reach out to the dealership for help, I was left on hold for 20-30 minutes waiting for customer service that never came. I sent multiple messages to their only "Text" support service and never received a response, and when I called one of the locations directly hoping an actual person could get me some help, I was told they couldn't do anything and took my number and said someone would call me back... no response. I'm honestly shocked at the lack of response. read more

Worst place to buy a car. I would not recommend. There is a lot of pressure to buy a car, and they act like you don't exist after you buy a car from them. They don't take care of their customers or the cars. I made the mistake. The car didn't come with floor mats, had a 30% oil life left, tires needed air,they called me to have emissions done on the vehicle, they needed to jump start one of the cars I wanted to test drive, and some of the cars on the lot were missing or had damaged parts. If they miss the small things, I can even imagine what they do with big problems. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Once they get your money.. they withhold prior repair docs. They then block you from calling & emailing. Their customer service department is a joke, actually a crying shame. They ignore you and when they finally do respond, a month later, they promise help and resolution, and then the waiting game begins again with no response. This joke of a business will not honor their word or the integrity of the "151-point" inspection or out the door 4-month warranty. They refuse to honor the sale and agreed to condition of the car, they hide under the Utah State legalese & microscopic wording in the contract, that absolves them from liability. This is why all of Auto Savvys dealerships defer to Woods Cross, Utah as their corporate base and protector. The Woods Cross GM "Hazen" is a brazen crook, shameless liar and worthless representative of the company. They ripped us off and left us with a piece of junk and a $50K bank note. Do not buy from these thieves, go to a reputable dealer and spend a couple of extra thousand for peace of mind and sale integrity. Jordan the sale associate at savvy auto contacted me when I reached out about a vehicle. I was unaware it was a rebuilt title. He sent me information so I could understand the process. All seemed fine at first. After a few days of going back and forth about a vehicle I decided I didn't want to spend 28k out the door on a vehicle that had major damage to it at once and all warranties were void, and having to go with their financing cause my bank wouldn't approve it. That's when things turned ugly. He then sent me some more vehicles for a lesser price, similar vehicles on line were 2-3k more with a NO accidents, and 1 owner. He became argumentative and pushy. Missing the point where why would I buy a vehicle for just under 20k when there are ones for 22-23 with zero accidents and 1 owner same car! I told him I was becoming irritated by his texts and to please not contact me. Of course the responses continued to be rude (see below). I'm so glad I didn't go with them. The reviews must be true about this place. Know what you're getting into, and ask to see the damage of the vehicle you're purchasing and what was replaced so you can be informed. read more

Worst customer service reps and worst customer service experience. If you want to get ripped off and no service, this is the place for you. Only put one star because you have to select something. I purchased a car and one day later had some issues with the car that I was not happy about. I was escorted to "customer serivce" where the reps do not acknowledge you approaching the room or look at you when you talk to them. They said they would look into the issues. They said they could fix repair if I paid $200.00 twards the cost. Spoiler Alert! They did NOT repair my car! My "fixed" tire blew out on me, the remaining issues were still not improved. They left my front seat and floor covered in dirt and oil. TOUCHE I went back to the dealership to let them know there were still issues. Getting a manger to even enage was next to impossible. The lower level customer serivce reps were slow to respond and when I asked to engage with management no matter who I talked to with this company, they were all unwilling to help assist me and work out a solution. They did not care that I was unhappy, and did not care that they lied to me to say my car was fixed when it was not. I got a 2nd opinion that said there were problems just like assumed, so I have paid over 1000 on repairs and am still dealing with their extreme poor customer support. AutoSavvy is really AutoSleezy. We recently purchased a vehicle that we desperately needed and love the vehicle itself. The sales team was also awesome to work with until we started having issues. The original issue was remedied by our sales guy but since then he stopped responding to us. We caught something while test driving and that is on us, we should have walked away. But they guaranteed us it would be fixed without cost, that another story though. Now we are having issues and I cannot get a straight answer on when to expect to have our car back!! On my way to another dealership to bit a truck when they called me to tell me they had a great deal on something i wanted. Stopped the deal on the first truck and spent the day waiting for them to "send me paperwork". They then called to tell me that someone else had an appointment for the vehicle and they take precedence over my four plus hour wait for paperwork. I lost both vehicles because I thought I was in a deal but someone who drove the vehicle AFTER I was supposed to be in an active deal MIGHT want it can actually buy it EVEN WHEN YOURE ALREADY BUYING IT!!!
