$1799 Smart Monitoring Device with two tabs that can removed from vehicle

Update: Colton the sales manager (decent guy) stepped up and tried to make this right after being on the phone all day back and forth. They agreed to refund the full amount of the GAP insurance and Warranty we didn't want. As on now after 3 weeks, we have not received the refund which is alarming. I'm almost at the point of reaching out to an attorney. I'll keep you updated if they follow through. Regarding the misaligned trunk, broken seals on the taillights, and other bad body work; Colton did arrange a loaner car and the vehicle was fixed at the Paint Spot and is no longer flooding the trunk. I'm not sure how the car made it to the lot in the first place; if there was a 150-point inspection completed. Here are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) They will try to sell you a vehicle monitoring system that is $50 GPS tracking unit that is connected to your OBDII system. They wanted $1799 for it, and they say it can't be removed. It has two tabs to remove the unit in about 10 seconds; Later the salesman said we could pay for a year then they will remove it.... this was a complete lie. Don't Pay it! 2) They tried to add on a carbon credit fee of $200 which no one could explain what it was. 3) Their dealer fee is $699 which is on the high side and the highest I've come across in Utah. 3) Branded cars have no manufactures warranty left, you have zero warranty on their cars. They will offer you a warranty and in my son's case they said it was $2,200 off but the contract was $4500 for a warranty, he thought it was $2200 total????? They also said it was through America Frist CU and it could be cancelled if no claims were made. Of course, when I looked at the paperwork it wasn't with America First.... 4) The next morning after driving the car home he noticed the trunk was leaking, the taillights were full of moisture, and the trunk is out of alignment. We had an autobody tech look at it and he said there were numerous panels out of alignment and the car should not have left the shop. We went into the dealership Monday morning and asked to return the car and get our down payment back. They said it's his fault and he should have checked the vehicle (it was dark at night when he saw the car). I would get the car checked out at a local body shop before signing anything FYI.

We searched everywhere to find the perfect car for our family, and after dealing with several different dealerships and getting the runaround, we finally found Nico at AutoSavvy in Woods Cross, UT -- and he was amazing. Nico went the extra mile to make sure we got all the specs we wanted. He kept in constant contact with us throughout the entire process and made everything so easy, efficient, and quick. I've never bought a car with such ease before. Nico not only provided excellent service, but he also got us the exact vehicle we wanted at a great price. He'll definitely be our go-to guy for all future vehicle purchases. Highly recommend Nico and the team at AutoSavvy!

Wes absolutely took care of me! As a previous Machanic, obviously I was looking for all of the issues. Any new customers have in mind. After expressing all my concerns and issues, they made sure to go out of their way to address all of them and to work with me and I really appreciated that His manager, Brendon also stepped in and provided an even more reassurance. I've had the vehicle now for a while and it drives phenomenal my mother-in-law and my four children love it

I made it clear I needed a reliable vehicle due to how much I drive, and at no point was I informed the vehicle's history was unknown or that it had prior damage. Shortly after purchase, the A/C stopped working during a road trip. When I took it to a Toyota dealership, I was informed the vehicle had previously been in a front-end accident--something that was never disclosed. I was also told the A/C system requires significant repairs, including replacement of major components. When I contacted the sales agent, Alan, I was told I "didn't ask for the Carfax" and was offered to split the repair cost. That response was unacceptable, especially given how the vehicle was represented. While one member of the service team was professional and helpful, the overall experience has been extremely disappointing. Based on what I've learned, I would not have purchased this vehicle had I been given accurate information. I strongly recommend doing your own inspection and research before buying from this dealership.

Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Think Twice Before Trusting This Service Center…read more Our brand-new 2026 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 2500 HD, a $95,000 truck that we absolutely LOVED, is still sitting at the service center because apparently getting a simple repair done correctly is too much to ask. We brought our truck to Murdock Chevrolet Service Center (Woods Cross) for a factory issue that was not caused by us. While the dealership was working on that issue, their service department caused scratches and paint chips to the truck. What should have been a simple touch-up turned into an absolute nightmare. The body shop they use, Higgins, has now worked on the same quarter panel FIVE TIMES, and somehow the situation continues to get worse. Their apparent solution seems to be to keep buffing and polishing the panel and hoping the damage disappears. It doesn't. At some point, repeatedly reworking the same area is not a repair -- it is making the problem worse. This is a brand-new truck that has never been in an accident or had collision damage, yet it has now undergone repeated body work because of damage caused while it was in the dealership's possession. We have serious concerns about the impact all of this work is having on the truck's condition, appearance, and potential resale value. We did not pay nearly $95,000 for a truck that would immediately become a repair project because of the dealership's mistakes. The inconvenience has been ridiculous. We've had to repeatedly rearrange our schedules, leave work early, make trips back and forth, and continue dealing with a problem that should have never existed in the first place. And the customer service has been just as disappointing. I have personally contacted upper management regarding this situation and couldn't even get the courtesy of a response to my email. Apparently, once they have your money, getting someone to take responsibility becomes someone else's problem. At this point, our frustration has gone far beyond the paint damage. We have completely lost confidence in this dealership and the people they have entrusted with our vehicle. What makes this even more upsetting is that we genuinely loved this truck when we purchased it. Now, after everything that has happened since the day we brought it in for a factory repair, we don't even feel the same way about owning it anymore. This has been, without question, the worst dealership service experience we have ever had. A $95,000 brand-new truck should not leave a service department looking worse than when it arrived -- especially when the damage was caused by the dealership in the first place. Murdock Service Center and Higgins have had multiple opportunities to make this right. Instead, they have repeatedly made it worse. At this point, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to think very carefully about how they handle your vehicle once they have it in their possession. We didn't bring them a damaged truck. They created the damage, failed to properly repair it, and have now left us questioning whether our brand-new truck will ever be returned to us in the condition it was in when we entrusted it to them. That is completely unacceptable.

Extremely Disappointed with Our Service Experience…read more We purchased this vehicle brand new for approximately $95,000, expecting both the vehicle and the dealership service to reflect the premium standards associated with that investment. Unfortunately, our experience with the service department has been extremely disappointing and has left us questioning the level of care and accountability provided by this dealership. We initially brought our truck to the dealership solely to address a manufacturer-related issue that was not caused by us. Rather than simply resolving the original concern, our vehicle was returned to us with additional damage that was not present when we dropped it off, including scratches to the paint and damage to the bumper. It is completely unacceptable that our brand-new, $95,000 vehicle now requires additional repairs because of damage that occurred while it was in the dealership's care. Regardless of how the situation is ultimately corrected, a vehicle should never leave a dealership in worse condition than when it was brought in--especially when the customer is there for a manufacturer-related repair. What has been even more frustrating is the amount of time and inconvenience this situation has created. We have had to schedule multiple appointments, make unnecessary trips to the dealership, take additional time away from work and personal responsibilities, and continue dealing with an issue that should have been resolved during the original service visit. What should have been a straightforward manufacturer's warranty repair has instead turned into a prolonged and completely avoidable ordeal. Even if the cosmetic damage is eventually repaired, that does not erase the fact that the damage occurred while our vehicle was in the dealership's possession. Our vehicle now has a service history reflecting repairs resulting from damage that was not caused by an accident, normal wear and tear, or us as the owners. That is extremely frustrating when you have made a significant investment in a brand-new vehicle. More importantly, this experience has significantly diminished our confidence in the dealership and its service department. When you spend approximately $95,000 on a new vehicle, you expect to be able to trust the dealership with that vehicle and expect problems to be handled professionally and responsibly. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. We sincerely hope the dealership takes accountability for what happened and recognizes that customer service is about more than simply repairing the final issue. It is also about taking responsibility, communicating with the customer, respecting their time and property, and making sure the customer leaves feeling that their business is valued. At this point, we are extremely disappointed--not only with the damage to our truck, but with the lack of accountability and the overall handling of this situation. (pic before damage)

DO NOT GO HERE -- Read Before You Bring Your Car In!…read more I've tried to give this dealership's service department the benefit of the doubt multiple times -- both for my personal car and through my company's fleet -- and every time, it's been a disaster. I brought in a recently purchased car for a recall and diagnostic. Appointment was for 7AM -- no follow-up until the next day. They sent a generic inspection video, but the advisor had no idea what parts were needed and told me my whole front end was loose. He told me to take it to a body shop. So I took it to Gerber Collision -- they said the only issue was a single loose bolt on the radiator support. That's it. Even they were shocked that Ford didn't just tighten it on the spot. To make matters worse, my entire driver's side was covered in grease -- handprints, footprints -- a total mess. They said they'd "detail it." Yeah, right. I spoke to Dustin (service manager) who apologized, acknowledged other customers had the same issues, and promised they were "restructuring." He asked for another chance. I agreed. Brought my car back. New advisor, better start... then it went downhill again. Two more weeks passed with barely any updates. The tech (who was actually great) told me the axle boot was torn and they'd give me a deal to fix it. I got a competing quote from Egan Auto (they're fantastic, btw) and sent it to the advisor. They finally responded a day later, agreed to match it -- but ignored my follow-up questions entirely. Left voicemails, texts, no response. Finally called Dustin again. This time? He blew me off and said he'd "use it as a training tool." That's it. They had my car two weeks and wasted my time, again. Bottom line: * Terrible communication * Unorganized * Sloppy, careless techs (grease everywhere) * Zero follow-through * Management doesn't care Take your car to Egan Auto instead. Honest, fast, and professional. Night and day difference

Update: Two months Later: I contacted them to let them know I called the DMV inquiring about why my license plate had not been delivered yet, and told them that the DMV has not received their report of the vehicle being sold yet. Their reply: "I'm waiting for the title from America first. Should be here any day. Delays like this are abnormal. We've struggled with the previous owner of the jeep for her cooperation. I'm just a little frustrated that I am driving a Jeep that I could get a ticket because the registration isn't correct." Their Reply: "how about you bring that Jeep back and I'll give you your money back" My Reply: "that's not possible, I put too much money into it to fix it so it can work correctly" Their Reply: "it's either patience on your part or unwind the deal" My Reply: "well, do you think two months after the deal has been signed is being patient enough?" Their Reply: "Bring it back" My Reply: "no, I'm not doing that. Like I said, I poverty spent and invested money into this vehicle, like the oil leak."
