Unfortunate experience. Work was performed paint was not color sanded or buffed. After a month or so a large portion of the dent returned. Communicated with them for a couple months promised to come repair it. Never happened I got the work redone and asked for a refund. After getting the run around for about her several months where I agreed to work with them as work was slow. They went dark. Update 10/4/24 they saw the review and immediately called me. He cussed me out for being unreasonable and refused to accept responsibility. Called me a piece of $hit and hung up. Things what I get for trying to work with them. read more

Roman did a fantastic job with my daughter's Toyota Rav 4. After texting pics of the damage Roman gave me a very reasonable quote and we got it scheduled. He came to our house, showed up on time and it took about 3 hours. I was pleasantly surprised how good it turned out and have already recommended him to 2 friends. Once the work is done you can't drive for a few hours and can't wash it for about 3 days which was not a problem. You won't be disappointed!! read more

I sent Roman 4 pics of the back passenger side corner of my 2018 Tundra that I crunched backing into a pylon at a gas station (Yeah, too much reliance on the beep that never came from the back-up sensors and camera). After the quote came back I had a feeling that the pics I sent didn't give quite the full gravity of the damage I had done. Looking at things in 2D verses seeing them first hand are two very different things. When he got to my house I asked him if it was worse than he thought it would be and he said yes, "...but the price doesn't change". As he got into his 3rd hour of work on it I went outside to check in and asked him on a scale from easiest to toughest where did this job rank on what he's done in the past and he said, "Easily the toughest I've ever tried". Fast forward a couple of hours later and Roman has it fixed to the extent that my tail light (which was completely crushed along with its housing) reinstalled flawlessly and operational and he's got my tailgate back on its hinge where I am no longer worried about hitting a pothole and having the whole thing fall off in the road. That's when he says, pensively, "Do you want the good news or the bad news?" I said hit me with all of it. As it turns out Tundras have aluminum beds, which is the one kind of metal than he didn't have the tools for to do the kind of job that he insists on doing. That's when he tells me he can go no further (the bad news) and then says "No charge for any of the work" (the good news). He was ready to walk away with nothing for 5 hours of hard work and progress to the point that it not only looked a lot better, but now my truck was driveable again because I had a working tail light. I ended up splitting the difference plus a bit more from the quote he gave and handed him the check, which he tried to refuse. I wouldn't let him, however. What a stand-up dude and how refreshing in this day and age. Roman will get plenty of work from me going forward. In this world of overpromise and underdeliver, this man did not get the memo. read more

I had put in a service request on yelp for my front passenger blinker that was hanging on by a thread inside the bumper, I failed my state inspection because of it and needed it secured fast. Amber communicated with me through the entire thing, which I seriously appreciated as dealing with anything auto-related is honestly quite intimidating to me. I had two dents on my car, one fairly minor, and one medium. since one of the dents was the result of an accident, where I was at fault, I decided not to file a insurance claim, but to pay out of pocket, I was looking for A low price, good quality, and a short turnaround. I got several estimates, but Independence auto body was the best. They do not file insurance, and they do not provide the itemized price breakdown that some other shops do, but they do provide guaranteed work, and a warranty for the life of your car as long as you own it. Ronan and Amber are husband and wife team that own the business. Ronan comes to your place and brings everything he needs to fix your car. The work is performed in one day. I was extremely pleased with the results. Everything was beautiful and done as promised. If I could give Roman and Amber more than 5 stars, I would. They only had one Yelp review, but it was excellent, so I decided to give Independence Autobody a try. Roman has now worked on my car twice. The first time he did some body repair work on my car. He fixed damage to the front and the front passenger side of my car that happened from an accident a few months ago. He took such care in doing the work. I feel like he approaches his work in the way an artist would. My car looks amazing. And their rates are more than fair. The second time Roman came out, it was because of an issue I had where I was waiting for a part. It had been 6 months, and Continental Collision said they were still waiting for the part. Roman was able to get the part within two weeks, put it in, and now that problem is fixed. Also, their response time is amazing: I contacted them, received a response same day, and the work was done in a week's time. I doubt I'll ever use a regular body shop again. It's like having your own personal Body Shop at your beck and call. And both Amber and Roman are just the nicest, friendliest people. read more
