THE BLACK AND WHITE: Google maps couldn't pinpoint exactly where the dent repair shop was. Make sure you turn into the same road that the tropical smoothie cafe is on and keep driving down. Charlie is the owner and keeps himself busy, couldn't get an appointment until a month after the initial visit but that's because his prices are more reasonable than other shops. Charlie's knows a lot about dents and we had a pretty lengthy discussion about how to fix them. Not a simple plunge. And when the car was in the shop, he would provide text updates along with pictures on how well the repair was going. Very nice! THE FINAL BAMBOO: Highly recommend Charlie for any type of dent work. Well it was bound to happen. I walked out of the grocery store and saw a shopping cart right next to the side of my car. The shopping cart left 3 dents on my car! Nooo! Of course being the perfectionist that I am, I wanted to get them fixed since it was very distracting seeing those dents on my beautiful car! I was referred to Charlie at The Dent Repair Shop to get my dents fixed. Charlie helped fix my dents with paint less dent removal, so it didn't damage the paint on my car which is always a worry for me. Originally I was quoted 2 to 2 and a half hours for the job since the dents were in a difficult area but Charlie finished in a little less than an hour and a half. Everyone there at the shop is really nice and friendly. This place is in high demand though so it might be a while before you can get an appointment. I'm so glad I found out about this place! Now it looks like the dents never even happened! Plus while other places I called charged much higher, Charlie gave me a very reasonable price. Wow, what a fantastic place. I can't actually believe such a place exists. (Only the second time I'm saying this--see other reviews for the first time.) Someone must've hit our car at some point when we were parked somewhere in the city because I just noticed a big dent one day. I spoke to Rachel on the phone about it. She asked me to text photos to Charlie (her business partner and husband). So, I did that and he gave me a quote. We then scheduled a date and a time (1 pm). But, on the day of the appointment, I was running around SXSW so I called them at 11 am asked if we could delay the appointment by an hour. They were incredibly gracious and said that would be fine. (Note that they usually close the shop at 3 pm but Charlie, who does the hands-on dent repair work, was going to be working until 5 pm that day.) So, we get there at 2 pm and asked about getting some food nearby since we were starving. We had assumed that we would be able to simply walk to a place and get some grub. Well, that was not an option since there was nothing within walking distance so Rachel asked if we wanted to simply drive to a place, grab some food and come back. And, that they would start work on the car after that. I was really touched. Wait, there's more--then, after Charlie worked on the car (which looks amazing now), he actually charged me 1/3rd of what he had quoted me. Yes, 1/3x, not 3x. He said the dent popped rather easily so he was charging us less. I can't remember the last time someone said something like that to me. All I can say is that these guys are miracle workers! After 10 years with my car, the first accident I get is when I'm not even there. I slammed my boot onto an extended suitcase handle like a really smart person, leaving the only imperfection on an otherwise perfect car. The damage was right on a crease, so they were straightforward that it's hit or miss on getting that kinda damage perfect, but they'd give it a try. I was in and out of there in no time with the dent 99% perfect. They were less happy with the result than I was, and gave a steal of a deal as a result. I was confident the service would be good when it was over a week to get my new Toyota Tundra in to have some dents removed. The Cavalry Blue shows every imperfection and I had 4-5 areas of concern. There was a small line on the tailgate when I bought it and a good size dent on the roof when I strapped down some wood to tight. Charlie pointed out some other really small dents which I told him to do every dent he found. Said it would take 2-3 hours. Charlie called just like he promised and I was amazed of the quality of work. It is unbelievable that I cannot tell there was ever a dent on this truck. PERFECT! That's all I can say. I had a deep ding on the rear quarter panel from some guy at work who probably opened his door and drove the point deep into my (perfect) finish. He obviously saw what he did. No note, no offer to pay! All the body shops said I needed a new rear quarter. I called the fly-by-night come-to-your-home guy with the $30 Amazon dent kit. Rather than admit he could do nothing with this, he tried, made it worse, and charged me a fortune. Dent Repair Shop was recommended to me. This place is special. I came to Charlie with a few dents in a very difficult spot (right on the front line of my hood). He was very empathetic to my situation and gave me a very reasonable estimate and said he would try his best without guaranteeing results. They worked on it for 2 hours, however, due to the placement and circumstances he was not able to remove it fully. I still thought it was improved and valued the time and energy they put into this. He did not charge me a DIME because he did not deem it a repair. I wanted to tip him and he tried to not accept my tip for the labor/time (but I got through to him). I had a dent on the rear right side of my Model 3 due to a minor accident. Brought the car to the shop around lunch time and Charlie immediately took a look at it. He initially refused to take the job because he didn't think he could restore it to a perfect condition. I appreciate his honesty and business ethics. But then he decided to try popping the dent out with one of his tools. He spent a few minutes on it and almost completely removed the dent.
