Jeff gave me a great estimate for the work and he and Vern worked here for for 4 days. They were courteous and helpful and efficient and a gazillion more wonderful adjectives. They got to my work about 2 weeks before we expected them to show up and that was lovely. The work was done quickly and extremely efficiently. I'm kind of wondering now why it took me so long to make this decision because the work they did is just gorgeous. We've used Tate before for a fireplace project several years ago and were extremely satisfied with that as well so can't say enough about the company or the workers.

I purchased 5 scoops (18 cubic feet per scoop) of the Signature Black Dyed Hardwood Mulch. I shopped around online and they had some of the best prices and came recommended to me from a friend. Their website lets you tell them exactly where you want them to place the bulk mulch, which arrives in a small dump truck. I scheduled a Tuesday delivery between 8am-11am and they arrived around 9:30. The guy back right into the driveway and dumped the mulch exactly where asked and was done in just a couple minutes. The mulch was finely shredded, well-colored and spread easily. Very impressed with the product quality and recommend to anyone needing to buy in bulk or bags. Buying in bulk is much cheaper, but that's the same anywhere. The only reason I didn't give them 5-stars is that their website needs to update their pricing. They advertised $21.50 per scoop, but they invoiced me at $23.00 per scoop. It's a $1.50 difference and not a big enough concern for me to even call them, but wanted to make a note of it. Secondly, their websites offers a promotion of buy 10 bags or 5 scoops and get one free. I ordered 5 scoops and received 5 scoops. I had assumed incorrectly that they would of added a 6th automatically, but apparently you have to order 6 scoops online to get the offer. I ended up have more than enough mulch for the job so didn't call them, but again wanted to make a note. Maybe they included a 6th for free, but it wasn't noted in the invoice and the delivery driver confirmed he was delivering 5 scoops. Overall I was very pleased with the ordering, delivery and product quality. My small complaints would probably of not occurred if I had just called, but I prefer to order online whenever possible. Good business that might just need a few tweaks to their website but I still highly recommend them.

Very nice hardware store conveniently located in the heart of Bellevue. A large store with a…read morepretty respectably sized lumber yard in the back, Pilot is a Do-It Best brand hardware store. I had gone here in search of some plaster anchors and rather than selling me the more expensive anchors the very helpful clerk pointed me towards the $1 aisle where I found exactly what I was looking for. After asking me what my project for the day was the clerk took me throughout the store and helped me pick out all potentially needed items. The only drawback that I can see of this place is their hours. They close at an hour that would make a banker blush. When I have projects to do I'm typically doing them after my work hours (normal 9-5), and they close at 530 on Weekdays and 3P on Saturdays. That means if I'm working on a project I need to go directly from my work to their store, and hopefully there is no traffic. Very decent selection, and very helpful staff. I'm quite the hardware store fan, and my only other complaint with this store so far is that it's not Klingenberg's in Covington, but hey, maybe I'm biased.
