We had a fantastic experience shopping for a grill about a week and a half ago. We stopped at ACE in Independence, Ky. Desiree met with us. She was very friendly, and helpful. She explained the options available all while taking into account our needs and budget. Not offering the most expensive but one with a good warranty, met our needs and within our budget. Desiree scheduled the delivery which included assembly. Everything arrived on time and in perfect working order. Our first use, I have to say, she knows her stuff. It was exactly what we were looking for. Dinner was wonderful. Definitely suggest you ask Desiree when you are looking for your next grill or outdoor needs. Thank you for all your help!!! The is a staple for Independence. You can pretty much find anything that you would need amid a home project. However, for this convenience you will pay a fee. The location is convenient, as well as the hours, and the staff is knowledgeable and can get you want you need (even if you're not sure what you need). However, since this is a smaller store (compared to Home Depot or Lowe's), don't expect to get Lowe's prices. Its a bit expensive, but its nice to be able to pick something up mid project without going to Florence or Alexandria. read more

I got a wild hair to paint my bathroom and the man in the paint department was more than helpful. I showed him the color I wanted and as he was about to mix it he told me there was a smaller container on the mismixed shelf for only $5. It more than covered my bathroom and is the perfect shade. He saved me $20 & definitely gained my business. We are new to the area and going the extra mile is big. The customer service here is unmatched. He helped me find the best deals on everything I needed, set me up with a rewards card, and the gentleman at the checkout offered to help me carry my purchases out to my car. True southern charmers. Everything I needed was in this store. They don't have rental equipment but Home Depot isn't too far away , I actually didn't even use the wallpaper steamer I ended up renting the spray worked better. read more

I do not know why people bring their dogs into this store? They are not service animals and put customers in danger. How do I know they have had their shots and do not carry disease. The cashiers should not wait on anyone with non-service animals. read more

Have always had good experiences here at this location. Even when I need help with something and I see the employee and think this kid is not gunna have a clue they surprise me and know exactly what to do or what I need. Pint department is always on point as well read more

Had a price for $9.99 on bird seed, huge sign, and was charged $17.99 at the register. Brought it to the cashiers attention and was not given the price the sign stated. THIEVES!!!!! LIARS!!!!! DO NOT TRUST YOUR BUSINESS TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!! read more

I was here for the ace bag sale, and I was amazed that there wasn't more of a crowd. I guess they can be a bit pricy on items, but with the sale things were reasonable. The staff were helpful. The store was well lit and reasonably laid out. If you are look to quickly pick up that item you absolutely must have to complete your project, this is a good option. If you are looking for the best selection or best price, try somewhere else. This place stays alive on convenience. read more

ok, it's great they started carrying hunting equipment but unfortunately is is grossly over-priced. 40 percent mark up from the highest price you can find anywhere. Ace is always more expensive but wow... Don't believe me, take your smart phone and start by comparing broadheads with any other store. read more

Wine Cellar Innovations has tons of information on their site on how to start on the project, and it was a lot of fun to clear out the space, insulate it, and get it ready for their racks. The racks themselves were great quality mahogany, and largely assembled. It takes a bit to get the hang of the way they go together, but once you build your first rack, the others go together super easy. They even included an air nailer setup which made it a breeze - I couldn't imagine doing it any other way! They also offer a free design service which I tried (because hey, it's free, why not?), but I wanted to add a bit more complexity to my design, and as you can probably already tell I'm more of a DIY person in that regard anyway, I took on measuring and fitting in components they have available. Everyone I dealt with was excellent, and the only reason it's not 5 stars is that despite them including multiple spare pieces in the racking kits, there were a few pieces that came incorrectly cut from the factory. I contacted them and they sent replacements no questions asked, so it was only a bit of delay in completing the project. Overall, the project came out amazing and I recommend WCI to anyone looking to build wine racks. They're well built and well-priced.
