This is Hands down the best Indian Food in Rochester !! I've been here countless time and yet to have a bad experience. The food is always hot, fresh, sometimes too spicy but always great . The vegetable samosas are awesome. The Lamb Vindaloo is my goto dish . Its spicy but not overwhelming. The potato's are always perfect. The lamb is tender but still meaty . The Chicken curry is another goto dish . Mush more basic and traditional. It's lightly spicy but also sweet . I also throughly enjoy the tandoori chicken . Always great flavors and very tender. It's severed with lemon, tomatoes and lettuce garnish . The dishes are served with rice with the opinion getting more upon request . I highly recommend it for let overs . Lastly never forget to get Naan . The plain or the garlic are huge, fresh and taste amazing. Check this place out .

Best restaurant in Rochester, MN! We've been coming here for 12 years! Homemade food, family owned run by wonderful people.

Disclaimer: I don't know too much about Indian food. However, I know what tastes good!! We popped over on a Sunday; they have a big lunch buffet. Everything was delicious. They do have labels on each station, but I was going to try everything no matter what! Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and classy environment. I really loved the chicken marsala; I did not think anything was overly spicy. I loved all three types of curry. My hubby and I left very satisfied! Would def recommend!

I been enjoying this restaurant for decades. It's old school real small town cafe. This visit I had…read morebiscuits and gravy, it came with two pork sausage patties too! Wow! Just right. If you want to experience a small town cafe with great food that the locals frequent, stop on in here. Good food, great prices, an atmosphere you will not get at a franchise.

We arrived with the lunch rush on the first Friday after the start of Lent. Like most everyone…read moreelse, we were there for the All You Can Eat fish fry. The two of us opted for the grandest option of All You Can Eat, which included a choice of potato, shrimp, and the salad bar. The salad bar area is small and rather crammed to the side of a back dining room, but it absolutely delighted me. There were rolls and butter pats, and a whole array of salads that felt like the same mix you'd find at a great Midwest potluck. I sampled several, but I absolutely LOVED the broccoli bacon salad and the Snickers salad! My husband opted for the simple lettuce salad with croutons. Service was consistently slow during our visit, just as a matter of timing--they looked short-staffed during the lunch rush, and the workers were being run off their feet! They were moving nonstop. I had broiled fish with shrimp and a baked potato. Perfectly cooked, flavorful fish. I loved the breading on the shrimp. I had butter and sour cream along with my potato. I didn't get seconds. My husband had the standard fried fish, shrimp, and fries, and really enjoyed them, and he did request a few more pieces of fish. They came out, piping hot. I want to come back here sometime and try the pie!

The biryanis are incredibly aromatic, the curries are rich and flavorful, and the South Indian specialties taste just like homemade food. My…read moreactual rating would be 4.5 out of 5, but I couldn't justify taking away a full star, so I'm rounding up to five since Yelp still doesn't allow half stars. I'm not sure how we didn't find out about this place until almost a year after it opened. Apparently, they've been around since July 2025. The interior of the restaurant looks clean and nice. I already want to go back to dine-in sometime and I'm interested in their weekend buffet. We ordered takeout on a Tuesday for dinner and chose Medium spice for everything. I got the Butter Chicken, and I think it was the best Butter Chicken I've ever had. For the price, I was hoping the portion would be just slightly larger, but taste-wise, it was absolutely amazing. We also ordered the Wet Chicken 65 and really enjoyed that as well. The portion size was pretty decent for this. I would order it again, but I'm also very interested in trying the Chicken 555 next time. My wife got the Szechuan Noodles with Chicken and liked them. I tried some and liked them too. The noodles come in a great sized portion. My Butter Chicken came with rice, but I had to order Garlic Naan separately for an extra $4.50. The Garlic Naan was fantastic, but I was disappointed by how little came with the order for almost $5. Next time, I would be tempted to order two, but then the price starts increasing pretty dramatically. Basically, if you're ordering more than one curry style dish, you'll probably need multiple orders of Garlic Naan unless you're fine eating everything with rice or on its own. During the week, it seems like the restaurant doesn't open until 5 pm. I get it... it's probably slow between lunch hour and 5pm. But it was a little frustrating because we like to pick up takeout shortly after work. When I tried placing the order around 4:45, the earliest available pickup time wasn't until 5:30pm. I really wish they allowed customers to schedule online orders for pickup at 5pm or even 5:15. They do not charge a service fee, which is a big deal for restaurants in 2026. There was no credit card fee either. That also contributed to why I rounded the rating up to five stars. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this place. It will likely become our new regular Indian unless we want to eat earlier and don't want to wait until 5:30. I wish the Garlic Naan portion was larger, and that the Butter Chicken came with a little more food for the price, but the food is still fantastic.
