I'd definitely come back to try the other fruity drinks too! we ordered the tom yum noodles, preserved vegetables & pork noodle soup, salt & pepper fries, and the HK style french toast with peanut butter. the french toast was our favorite- it was fluffy and chewy and was just like the HK classic. the noodle dishes were both so hearty and flavorful too, and the portions were a good size. it did take a bit long for everything to come out, but it did seem like there was only one person working and she was very kind and accommodating when we had questions about our order. we didn't mind at all, especially sitting outside and enjoying the view! overall, I'll for sure be back for the drinks and to try some other HK style street food.

I ordered the lemongrass pork jaw rice. There were only about six pieces of meat, and the lemongrass was chopped into very tiny pieces and mixed into the sauce. The problem was that the lemongrass was extremely tough, almost like small pieces of tree branches, and impossible to chew. I had to spit them out, but because they were chopped so finely and mixed throughout the sauce and meat, it was very difficult to eat. If this is how they prepare the dish, they should reconsider the way they cook and serve lemongrass dishes--or consider removing this dish from the menu. I also waited about 30 minutes for my food. After such a long wait, I expected the food to at least arrive hot, but it was already cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting in the kitchen for a while because there weren't enough staff to bring it out to customers. The table service and cleanliness were also disappointing. There were no staff available to clean the tables, and I actually saw customers moving previous customers' dirty plates to one side and wiping the table themselves. Our table was also extremely sticky. The restaurant really needs to review its food delivery process. Instead of having staff run around the dining area trying to find the right table number, they could simply have customers pick up their food using an order number. This would probably make the process much faster and more organized. Overall, the food was just so-so, the service was slow, and the whole restaurant felt very unorganized. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

Meats and seafood are priced a little lower than other Asian markets. I was excited to find some sesame candy which reminded me of childhood snack, however there is no expiration date on the good looking box ($4.99). The food court area is being remodeled, we walked around it carefully. The crabs we steamed last night for dinner were pretty good. Today I tried the sesame candy and was very disappointed. As soon as I opened the nicely wrapped candy, the aroma of rancid sesame oil hit me and it tasted bitter.....basically the candy is inedible. I understand it may not be the fault of the market because this item was imported. The lack of expiration date should have given me a warning, my fault. Needless to say we will not be rushing back to shop here anytime soon, hopefully they do a better job on quality control going forward.

To my dismay I opened up a bag of frozen mold when I got home. This clearly had negligence sitting outside of a freezer or in a broken freezer somewhere in the chain as the product had not expired on its due date yet was covered in mold. When I got home to unbox, cut off the plastic, and put it in the oven, I noticed something was unusual about the frost. Then I saw it wasn't frost but mold. Mold everywhere. As it started to warm up it smelled awful. I will still trust the beans and spices, but it's hard to trust much else. Something went way wrong for this to happen. The entire frozen section is suspect and to a dangerous degree since it looks like frost. Either they didn't catch it or even worse they did catch it then figured they'd put it back in the freezer and try to sell it anyways. Please do an audit on all your frozen goods and frozen delivery chain, and let me know if you'd like me to try again when it's fixed.

This Foster City location had at least 20 vendors open and operating today-Town Center location. They are open only one day right now. Check their schedule. Surprisingly, today/Saturday, they were open 9 AM-1 PM/Town Center area. Not sure if people know this or if the Farmer's Market locations are two different ones. I am writing this review mainly for the Town Center location. Crowds were not too crazy and there are plenty of free public parking lots all around, especially at the hotel side. It's a great place to get some sun and stretch out. You can help donate to Ukraine here, listen to some live music, pick up your favorite local grown organic fruits, vegetables, breads, honey, hummus, and even lunch. Purchased some lovely macarons too. If you want chicken, tacos, ramen, or other street foods, they do have a few booths here. Don't be too surprised. Cost of all foods and goods have risen higher these days, even at Farmer's Markets. Yes, pricey for selective items. I am still glad that they are surviving now, even for one good day per week. If you want to walk over here from the surrounding neighborhoods, definitely do so. Staff and people are friendly. Not too loud or chaotic in the area. Bring cash since not all vendors may accept credit cards. Bring a reusable bag! Love wearing hats outside on sunny days. Smell fresh breads and greens early in the morning. Have a great day!
