This place is perfect for people who come from part of the world where Indian and Asian food join or are separate and they have endless choices of spices and food from the old country. The service is very good I born and raised in United States, but my favorite thing to come here for is the instant tomato soup. If you are craving food, this is where you wanted to do your shopping. They are very competitive very friendly and there is good parking here. They can even take Venmo for payments

Today I ordered their Samosa , Our alltime favourite. Been watching India travel channel and see people eating Panipuri on their food tour. So i found out this place sells freshly made Panipuri and ordered to try it. Crispy shell where i stuff potatoes, garbanzo beans, tamarine chutney and spicy sauce. Interesting taste! Also ordered their Rasmalai dessert. Yummy! Due to covid , I might not be able to travel to India but this is not bad that i get to try all these in Orange County!

Some spicy Indian version of Chex Mix. Very good. Spicy!

They have a $7.99 meal combo. - Comes w rice, 2 vegg side dishes, some kind of dahl over your rice, 1 pc of bread and yogurt, oh yeah and a bit of pickled vegg - Out of it all, I thought their egg plant dish was stellar, so flavorful - The saag was a bit of a disappointment, lacked flavor (garlic/seasoning perhaps) - The yogurt had fried bits of dough, I was expecting raita type yogurt - The dahl was good - Rice was decent quality - Pickled veggies were excellent - Portion size is ok, I had to ask for more rice, but the guy obliged me I would go back but only get DOUBLE of the Egg plant dish.

For the 8 odd months that I have spent in OC, this has been by far the most frequented lunch place I know of for me!! Can't believe I have not reviewed it before. No frills healthy Indian food, reminds me of my moms cooking! And that, my friends, is a real compliment! Absolutely yummy typical desi food, no frills attached. They have a fixed menu everyday for lunch. Usually you would get a Thali ( 2 veggies, rice, bread, yogurt dip) the veggie menu is fixed everyday. But then, they have yummy finger lickin awesomeness in snacks! Pav Bhaji, samosa chat, dahi vada, kachori chat, bhel puri, pani puri, dahi puri...Mmmmm!!! And if u are here.. Do not leave without the paneer paranthas!! Yummyyyyyyyy!!! :) it's stuffed bread for those who are not familiar with them.. U can get cheese stufing or potatoes, cauliflower, radish.. Everything! Love this place.. Will totally moss being here once I leave OC! And I am sure Ava D agrees with me!

Actually I had expected this place to be just another Indian grocery store but was very pleasantly surprised by the fact that they were somewhat different. This place has produce which is actually fresh! Most of the Indian grocers I've been to have dried out good which is so unappealing, but here? The eggplants were brightly purple, they had fresh peas Indian style, bitter melon, and other vegetables and did I mention -- VERY fresh? Like the other reviewer said this place specializes in sweets and boy was there a lot -- the ubiquitous gulab jamun, kulfi and a host of others I'm not familiar with. They even have a steam table of Indian food which a bunch of people were eating. There are small tables where you can sit and eat the food too. Very convenient. We purchased different rotis and naans as well as curry powder and a huge bag of brown basmati rice. Not many places carry brown basmati rice in a large bag. I went to Wholesome Choice yesterday and they didn't have it in a large bag and I ended up buying a small bag for 4 bucks. This large bag was about $12. Hubby was highly impressed with all the pickles and chutneys available too. This is indeed one of the better Indian grocers in the area. I didn't know about the lassi, but I'll definitely get one next time I'm in there.

This Indian market sells a variety of packaged food products, as well as includes a small vegetarian restaurant. A variety of hot foods, sweets, and snacks can be purchased from the case, and prices are reasonable! There are a few tables and chairs to sit down and enjoy your food. Food: - Samosa - Perfectly crispy on the outside with lots of filling. - Pani Puri - An order gets you five puris (round, hollow, fried crisps), chickpeas and potatoes, red and green hot sauce, and a cup of flavored "water" (pani). My first time having pani puri, and I enjoyed it! The red sauce was a bit too spicy for me.

My family loves this spot! We've been coming here for the food and groceries for years. I've tried almost everything and love it. The chana bhatura, the pani puri, the papdi chaat, and the pav bhaji are my personal favorites. Their samosas are also really good! My parents love the thali as well. Their yellow kadhi is my favorite sabji - it's really well made. The grocery side also has many great options. It's not a huge shop so if you're expecting every single flavor / brand you're obviously not going to get that. Parking is easy to find but during peak hours can be a little more difficult - if you don't find any in the lot there's another lot behind this plaza and then you can walk over!

My group of friends and I were purchasing snacks and waiting respectfully in line at Register 14. Our group consisted of one African American individual and three Southeast Asian individuals. When it was our turn to check out, the cashier told us the store was closed and refused to ring up our items. She directed us to customer service instead. When we went to customer service, we were informed that the store was actually still open until 10:00 PM. What made the situation even more upsetting was that after refusing to serve us, the cashier immediately rang up the customer behind us. If the store was truly closed, why were other customers still being checked out? The entire interaction felt targeted, disrespectful, and humiliating. While I cannot know the cashier's intentions, being denied service while another customer was served moments later left my friends and me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Rather than argue, I left all of my items behind and walked out. I have shopped at 99 Ranch for years and never expected to experience something like this. I hope management reviews the surveillance footage and register activity from Register 14 around 9:00 PM on June 6, 2026, and addresses why customers were falsely told the store was closed while others continued to receive service. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

It appeared that he attempted to rinse them off and package them to sell to me anyway. When he brought them back, I asked, "Didn't those salmon steaks just hit the floor? Could you please get me four new ones?" His response, said quietly under his breath, was, "Oh, you saw that." He then selected four replacement steaks, weighed them, and labeled them for purchase. I was very disappointed that anyone would attempt to sell food that had fallen on the floor. That experience left a very negative impression and made me question the seafood department's food handling practices. The rest of my shopping experience was fine, and the highlight of my visit was one of the restaurants inside the store--a boba and milk tea shop. The service there was excellent, and I had one of the best yogurt and pumpkin milk teas I've ever tasted. That positive experience is the reason I'm giving three stars instead of one.
