My boyfriend and I live near here and decided to try! It was so good!!! Definitely the best butter chicken I've ever had. We also got the naan stuffed with lamb and it was delicious. AMAZING !! The best flavours of Indian food I have had in Seattle. Have lived and travelled everywhere in the US - New York to SoCal to Chicago to Dallas and Florida. This place is not super fancy nor is it a hole in the wall. It's a regular looking when you walk-in but a few mins in there and you can start to smell the aromas of Indian spices and fresh bread being made, it's your naan or roti made in a traditional clay oven. Totally raised my expectations and boy did they deliver on the promise. Ordered Kadhai Paneer, Garlic Naan, and salted lassi. Kadhai paneer was full of amazing flavours with soft triangle shaped paneer and perfect amount of sautéed onion and green pepper. Garlic naan was also just perfect, thin n perfectly cooked with balanced amount of cilantro and garlic, not thick or chewy like other restaurants. Salted lassi was packed with flavour too, cilantro and masala with a touch of salt, super delicious. I finished every single dish and totally did over eat but I just could not stop enjoying these delicious flavours. The only regret is now I will have to often drive down to Des Moines from Kirkland and I forgot to take pictures of my food (was so hungry). Server were kind and courteous. She promptly came back with a plate of onion n lemon garnished with chat masala. read more

Saw a new Indian restaurant pop up as an option for delivery and had to try it. Got the chicken Tikka masala with garlic naan as well as vegetable samosas. Pros: nice spice level, I asked for very spicy and it was appropriate. Tenderness and size of chicken chunks were a big positive for me, a lot of places have large rubbery chunks; these were the opposite. The garlic naan was good but not great, a bit overdone but the flavor was spot-on. You can tell they use high quality spices and herbs in everything they make. The vegetable samosas were very tasty as well and I like how they are small triangles, almost like half of a ravioli, rather than big baseball sized balls. You get probably around 10 in an order as well. Food was all individually wrapped in Saran Wrap which I appreciated because it helps to maintain heat as well as prevent leaks. Cons: they gave me almost no rice. I got a very small white container with like a half scoop of rice. I would generally like double the amount that they gave me, or more. Absolutely fantastic family-owned restaurant. I live in New York City, where we have many excellent Indian restaurants, but Indian Bistro in Kent has the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The owners are married -- He learned to be a chef in India at a young age, and she waits on the tables. We met them both tonight, and they are so kind and lovely and hard-working. The seating is booths that vary in size, so every table feels private. I highly recommend this very special place. read more

Very good Indian food. I had Fish Tikka I and my wife had Chana masala. Both were very well prepared and had a great flavor. We had veggie Pakora as an appetizer which was also very good. First time at this place. We enjoyed the food but it was a little pricey in my honest opinion. I also don't know why on the menu it's called rack of lamb but only came with 4 pieces for $29. To me a rack is a minimum of 6-8. I would probably go back since the service and ambiance was great. read more

We recently dined here for Sunday lunch with an out-of-town acquaintance who was staying in Renton. It was a fantastic choice as everyone was pleased with their meals. The samosas were a good size, tasty, and fresh. The entrees seemed to be prepared after ordering (instead of being sent out mere minutes after ordering) and the dishes were each spiced perfectly and had a generous amount of meat compared to other Indian restaurants. The only peculiar thing was that they brought one dish of rice for 2 people; I would have preferred we each receive our own smaller dish of rice.
