Egg curry & aloo bhorta combo
Kalpana R.

This is my fav lunch food truck for Indian/Bengali food. The truck is run by a Bangladeshi couple and some of their items are Bengali tasting; a cuisine which the Pacific NW is lacking in. The best part about this food truck is that they offer more than 10+ different curry options every day, along with samosa/chat/chai/coffee/paratha etc. I personally prefer ordering their vegetarian items because there is more variety of those everyday. My favs are eggplant, mutter paneer, egg curry and the occasional coconut veg curry or the bhortas they bring. And the masala chai is really, really good. Price wise I feel it is super cheap for the quantity and quality of food you get which is typically 2 curries + rice + lil bit of salad and a small roti. For 2 veggie curries it is $7 if you pay by cash or $7.50 if you pay by card. You pay a $1 more if you choose one or both non veg curries. They do have a few dishes which are usually on the oilier side (looking at you kala chana!) but if you try out their food multiple times, you know which ones are oily vs spicy vs mild. Or just ask them! (They are the sweetest food truck owners I have ever met). There is some scope of improvement though (isnt there always?): my main gripe is with the chapati they give which is something they buy in bulk frozen and warm it up before serving. Hope they can give a better quality of chapati. But even with that, I will look forward to coming here for my lunch!

This is post my meal. Check out the pond of oil !! Disgusting.

Extremely small portion. VERY VERY OILY. I ordered okra fry, mattar paneer and requested them to give me rotis instead of rice, for lunch. I didn't realize they would be giving me frozen rotis!! AWFUL. They try and fill your box with salad so they can skimp on the actual food. Naansense is much much better although they may charge a dollar or two more. I wish I could give zero stars on Yelp.

Had the Chicken Curry with Lentils and Palak Paneer.

Had the chicken curry with half lentils and half palak paneer. This is there non-veg deal for $8 and comes with one naan. Really liked the chicken curry, though I was warned that it would be spicy and it wasn't ;) Both vegetarian sides were quite good as well, so I will be back.

Combo meal of rice, vegetables (inedible), chicken tikka masala and shrimp (well two small shrimps). I will not eat here again.
Eugene H.

Had the 2 curry combo for $8.50 plus tip. Both curries were lacking in flavor (not enough taste) with basically no shrimp and some dry chicken. Vegetables were inedible. Picture has been posted for your preview. I also added a $3 vegetable samosa that was small but filling. Without that I would have rated this place a 1.

Oil city. Not enough food. If you're into small amounts of ok-tasting food with lots of oil, this is your new favorite food truck.

Food truck at SLU. Very little tasteless curry and compensated with a lot of rice. Poor quality.

I'll get straight to the point: This place is lamb heaven…read more One of the best and most unique lamb ribs I've ever had. A thin crisp crust, falling off the bone tender lamb with a nice amount of fat. It's served with a salty spicy dry rub that adds more texture with each bite. The raw sliced onions, not something you'll see with western cuisine, but a staple served with mughlai kebabs in other parts of the world provide sweetness and additional crunch. The lamb buns were great. Unlike most buns or patties or quiche which usually have ground lamb, these had tiny cubes, along with potatoes. Just needed some hot sauce to unlock flavors for me. The lamb soup with noodles was light and super flavorful. Great for a winter afternoon. Service was nice. The place is inside the same mall which houses Ranch Market and is clean with nice comfy seating. Will I return: Definitely

Ooohh, now THIS is a slightly rare treat. Cuisine specifically from Xinjiang province in…read morenorthwestern China. Specializing in lamb, xinjiang naan, and more with a healthy amount of, of course, cumin. Lamb skewers - Glorious meaty flavor, with that very slightly gamey lamb taste and a lot of seasoning. Lamb stir fry - Delicious. I particularly love the lamb chunks that have a bit of fat or tendon on them. I also love the potato in this. Hand pulled wide noodles - These are on-point, especially after the sad and soft ones at Dough Zone. So much texture and the amount of umami they soak up from the juices of the stir fry is brain melting. Naan - They're definitely good, but these are.....sooooooooo dense and filling. As an analogy, if bread -- bagel, then Indian curry naan -- this naan. Honestly, these aren't my favorite, but I can't fault the taste or quality at all. Soup - Oh yeah, this was also perfect with the bread. At a glance, it reminds me a bit of pho broth, but you'll forget once the lamb flavor in it hits like a truck.

It absolutely was, & I'm glad I stopped. I got the jerk chicken cheese fries, made while standing in freezing rain in a parking lot while we chatted about Miami. The only problem was that I still had to drive to the clients house while smelling that heaven on the seat next to me slowly getting colder... I picked at it as I drove & once I got where I was going it was a few minutes before I could sit down to eat. All it took was one bite. Ummmm. Very interesting. Let me start by saying the Skippers seafood was great and I will be back!…read more It was in a gas station which is fine but we entered from the front and had to look for where they cook the food and if they still were in business. We found it to the left behind a partitioned wall of snacks. No one was at the counter and there was a little bell. We had to "ring the bell" a few times to get service and then pay up front (where you pay for your gas). There was no one in the little dining area and It was very quite and it felt a little awkward eating in silence. I think it's quiet though because another person reviewed it saying the Indian music was so loud. ?? There were three menu topics. Teriyaki, Indian, Skippers. Like I said, the skippers fish and chips were good and The other items looked good too. Now that I know what to expect (and to use the side door). I'm sure my experience will be better Oh by the way, they do use Yelp for a 10% discount if you "like" them and they use door dash and grub hub if you want delivery.
