Some of the best Indian food in Gainesville! Such large portions and so delicious and flavorful. Reasonable priced and will definitely leave you with leftovers. The service is so nice and quick and will not leave you waiting for long.

Don't go anywhere else. The price is great, servings are massive and the quality is evident. Some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever experienced. I wish I could take them back to Texas when I return.

Butter chicken & chicken roganjosh (both medium spice)

Went there in a group of 6 people and we ordered 6 different dishes to share and two orders of naan. We got: lamb roganjosh, lamb curry, chicken tikka malasia, butter chicken, palak paneer, and vegetable korma The favorites were the lamb roganjosh, palak paneer, and butter chicken. We also got garlic naan and coconut naan and both were great The server was super nice and helpful, helped us choose some of the entrees to try new things and was very attentive even bringing some extra rice for the leftover sauces. The portions were perfect for 6, we finished everything and everyone was very satisfied. Definitely recommend coming here with friends to try all the different flavors and combinations.

Great place in the corner of a strip mall! We decided to pop in for lunch and we found out it had a lunch buffet (score!). The lunch buffet is $19.99 per person which is pretty good for the variety. The staff greeted us and we grabbed a table. They immediately brought waters and said we could go get some food from the buffet. I got an assortment of dips, chicken tikka, naan and rice. Everything was fresh and delicious! We had some chai to go with the lunch as well. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I both like Indian food. This is our first time at Indian Cuisine. We got the vegie platter for appetizer, chicken tikka mandas and lamb rogan josh. The vegie platter was delicious. Wish there was more sauce. My chicken tikka mandras was just the right level of spicy (medium, as recommended by our waiter). The sauce was creamy. My only complaint is that the chicken was not marinated, only coated with the sauce but white and blend on the inside. My husband got the lamb dish with "hot" spice level. They don't joke around with the spice level. He drank his water and then mine. The homemade mango lassi was very smooth and rich. One of the best I've had. We have made our own homemade mango lassi, which tasted great but was more chunky than theirs. Will likely visit again during buffet hours. :)

I had tried a few other Indian restaurants in Gainesville while I patiently waited for the lunch buffet at Indian Cuisine to reopen following a period of closure during COVID-19. Once I heard it was back I immediately went to check it out with a friend for Sunday lunch. Now I'm not the most well-versed when it comes to Indian food, so I loved having all the buffet options to choose from. I think I tried a little bit of everything. If you can't handle spicy, beware because the spicy dishes are very much so. Our waiter was attentive when it came to refilling waters and swapping out our finished plates. Overall the buffet was reasonably priced for all-you-can-eat. I enjoyed my first experience at Indian Cuisine and I look forward to going back to the lunch buffet again soon.

Only one other couple was dining in, and there were a lot of take out orders being picked up. The place was well-lit, clean, and had ample space. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Scout was our waitress and Deepak was the host. Menu has all the Indian cuisine staples that we expected - we ordered 3 orders of garlic naan, fried rice with veggies and egg, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi (potato & cauliflower side dish ) - all with medium spiciness - with mango lassi and masala Chai tea for drinks. While waiting for our orders, we washed our hands and the single-occupancy restrooms were clean and stocked. The only downside to the facilities in general are the slightly hard chairs / benches as these were possibly made with the intention of not spending too much time in the restaurant or for people with more natural padding in that area . The naan arrived about 10 minutes later, followed by the rest of the food. The naan was excellent - just the way we like it (not too soft, not too crunchy, with enough garlic oil for taste). The basmati rice was cooked just right in the individual bowls and also in the generous portion of the fried rice. It was my first time trying the aloo gobi, and I loved it! I never knew about this dish, and my husband said it was a must try. I also tasted his chicken tikka masala, and it was also made deliciously. The drinks were also great - mango lassi was fresh and not too sweet. Masala Chai tea was exactly how I imagined it would be. Overall, we spent around 1 hour and about $100 on our date here, including generous tip. We are glad to be repeat customers to try more dishes, and of course, enjoy more garlic naan .

It was highly recommended to me by a lot of my Gainesville friends, so I finally went to compare it with Indian Cuisine, Amrit Palace, and Indian Aroma. I can confidently say it's either slightly better, or on par, with Indian Aroma, and significantly better than Amrit/Cuisine. Only slightly better because the array of food you can get here is larger and a bit cheaper, but I do think Indian Aroma's butter chicken is still the best I've ever had. I got the varutharacha chicken curry combo, and it felt like an absolute steal for the amount of food and the price. My entire friend group went non-verbal as we chowed down into our dosas and food, and while I've never had varutharacha curry before, the flavor and savoriness blew my mind. The samosa was thick, crunchy, and filled with delicious veggie interior, and the chicken was soft, juicy, and slid right off the bone. The dosas were crisp, and paired excellently with their sauces. We ripped, we shredded, we came, we conquered, we devoured. The food coma after eating everything was so, so worth it. Service was great, and we were kindly greeted by two workers at the front who got us drinks fast and took our orders as soon as we were ready. They were very friendly, and as the front desk is semi-facing the restaurant, we could catch either of their eye whenever we wanted or needed something and they'd come right over. Overall, love this place, and will be back to try so much more.

I ordered the chana masala, which comes with basmati rice, and an order of samosas. The samosas were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They had a hint of spice but tolerable. The two sauces - tamarind and chutney were so good with the samosas. I wish I ordered more. The chana masala was very tasty, I went with medium heat since it was first time eating here. The spice was really good, I could've went hotter though. The masala was buttery and delightful. I could've drank the sauce it was that good. The chickpeas were cooked perfectly as well. The flavor profile of the dish was tangy but creamy. I wish I had some chicken tikka to throw in there. Overall a great take out meal and great portion sizes where you can stretch out these meals.
