We (daughter and I) had dinner here this past Saturday night. She's been wanting to visit here forever! The place is absolutely beautiful, was really impressed with the pretty decor and zen vibe. The service was impeccable! Our server was Darshan, he was beyond sweet and friendly. We loved every dish we ordered! The spices were done to perfection. We first split a Vegetable Manchurian, which was delicious! I had the Koya Kaju curry and she had the Paneer Makhani, both were fabulous! Loved the cool tureens they were each served in. Service was attentive, yet not overbearing. Highly recommend! It was a really nice experience too due to the ambiance. This was my first Indian restaurant experience (I'm not very adventurous with food) but I loved this place. We are looking forward to coming back when I visit again. This is a relatively new Indian restaurant on the southwest end Archer Road as you start to head towards Archer, FL. Living just down the road, I saw the signs as the restaurant was being prepared to open. I checked it out with a friend on a Sunday for their all you can eat brunch. It was fantastic! For someone like me who doesn't have that much experience with Indian foods, this was a great way to try many options at once. The staff was attentive to both our table and to filling the buffet bar, where all the options were hot and flavorful. Without a doubt I would check it out again. read more

Wrong address on yelp do not go into the trailer park. Google it and find the correct address just down the road. The is place is beautifully decorated. We got the lunch buffet which I tend to avoid but so hungry. Glad I did I got to try lots of their dishes all at once. We had the place to ourselves unfortunately for the owners. Maybe dinner gets a bigger crowd. The server was wonderful. Around if we needed him but not hanging over us. Would come again if ever in the area. My review is solely based on their lunch buffet--I've not tried their dinner menu. The interior is quite nice--a few touches overplayed in restaurants now like the fake foliage/grass wall but the carvings and elephant statues and such are very nice. You can tell a lot of thought went into the atmosphere. I was also greeted by a waitress promptly and seated. Now, the food however . . . not so great. I arrived right around noon and they open at 11am. Most of the buffet dishes which should have been hot/warm were lukewarm at very best. That was concerning. Apparently there were not Sternos or such to keep them warm. Only a few customers when I came in so I figure some dishes may have sat out since opening an hour prior, too. Beyond that, the selection was fewer dishes I believe than Indian Cuisine's lunch buffet: no samosas in example. The chicken tikka was ok (though not warm) and one vegetable curry was pretty good. The naan was unremarkable. The pickles probably homemade and one highlight of the whole experience, actually. The only dessert was sohan halwa--no gulab jamun surprisingly. I cook a lot of Indian and Pakistani food at home so I may be a bit picky but was rather disappointed: I'd hoped for superior to Indian Cuisine which I consider alright but not truly exceptional and instead I found this experience really a bit below Indian Cuisine's lunch buffet. read more

Vandy was our server and she helped us select several dishes that were all absolutely delicious! We enjoyed talking with her and she set the tone for a delightful experience. We tried two curries, tandoori shrimp, two breads and adult beverages! It was a feast. We will be back for the fresh and tasty food and also because of fantastic service. Very nice Indian restaurant with a wonderful, quiet Fine Dining atmosphere. Excellent variety of choices on the menu. I am lactose intolerant, and the waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable in letting me know which items I could eat -- there were many lactose free choices on the menu. The waiter also asked us what level of spiciness we would like in the food -- regular, "adult mild", or "child mild" (i.e. not hot at all). We chose the "adult mild" which was still pretty spicy. The food came quickly and was very tasty. We ordered a lamb dish and the eggplant, and the lamb was so tender and delicious. The restaurant is in a convenient location on the north side of Archer Road just east of Tower Road, and there is lots of parking. We will definitely be back. P.S. Excited to try a fine dining Indian restaurant on Archer Rd! The ambiance and decor is so so lovely inside and it's definitely a nicer dinner vibe. We ordered naan, biryani, mango lassi, and falooda. The naan was phenomenal! Definitely fresh and the perfect texture. Biryani was good but there's something off about the rice I can't quite put my finger on. Mango lassi was good as well. I was very excited to the try the falooda as it's one of my favorite desserts and not many Indian restaurants offer it. I'm so sad to report it was not it and not worth the order. A traditional falooda is a layered dessert with ice cream, rose syrup, vermicelli noodles, basil seeds, and milk. It is supposed to resemble a halo-halo almost. The falooda I received was simply rose syrup mixed into milk with basil seeds floating in it and what looks like microwave ramen noodles. Aside from that, the naan is a must have and the curries seemed good as well. read more

Our first time at this restaurant. Service was simply fantastic. Decor of the restaurant is really a step above most of the places in the Gainesville area especially for Indian food. I would definitely consider this a date night location. Food was fantastic and really enjoyable. The garlic naan is enough to make an Italian cry with joy. Terrible experience for Sunday lunch buffet, possibly worst restaurant experience my life. Awkward from the beginning, doors aren't labeled so make sure you go in the door on the right. We were hungry w hungry kids so we thought buffet would be good idea, but it was too spicy for my kids and they don't have a kids menu! We waited 20 min for water, and had to get up and ASK for water! After that was still 5 min. My kid was crying bc of the spice and we didn't even have something to drink. They never offered any other drinks but wouldn't have ordered it because it'd take 30 min. Buffet was lukewarm at best making me worried i might get sick. Didn't even eat 1 plate. I will say the sauces were good. Naan on buffet not edible. Other reviews for buffet confirm the same. Very awkward atmosphere, couldn't get out of there soon enough. read more

I had previously rated this restaurant as authentic and excellent, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined. the service remains good, but the food is not what it used to be. The place remains clean and welcoming. The chili chicken tasted soggy and not fresh, and the chicken Karachi was disappointing, it came in a sauce more like Tikka Masala rather than the traditional preparation. We went there for lunch buffet which is way overpriced for what we got ,they had one chicken option, no other meats , steamed rice, some kind of cabbage and some fried potatoes patties, sodas are $4 each with no refill an $18 a person buffet with very limited options, $57 for 2 people lunch is a rip off , good luck staying in business, we will never return for sure. read more

Interior is impressive. wish I could say the same about the dining experience. service was terrible. I waited 20 minutes for my entree while everyone else had theirs. I asked for the entree to be mild not spicy. When the entree arrive it was so hot I could not eat it. I brought it home thinking I could tame the taste. nothing doing. a wasted $20! the waitress was pathetic. I think she forgot to turn in my order with the others. we asked to split the appetizer between two checks. she did not know how to do that. my guess is she is new to the Job and likely has received no training. the naan was outstanding.
