    Butter Chicken

Went in on a slow sunday lunch. Everything we got was the perfect version of what I was hoping for. Butter chicken, samosas, mango lassi, tandoori. No complaints, they were friendly and quick.

Stopped to get gas and stumbled upon this place. I'm glad that this was an option and it did not disappoint. I ordered something small and got paneer pakora. The service was friendly and it did not take long. The food was delicious and came with two sauces that complimented the pakora. I would definitely come back again to try their other items. The mango lassi was good as well.

Butter Chicken with basmati rice and garlic naan

I enjoy stopping here for very good East Indian food. They are very quick getting orders out. I ordered the butter chicken today with garlic naan and it was delicious! I could smell the naan through my takeout bag! It smells so good!

    The restaurant.

The naan is fresh and the saag paneer was to die for. I wish it was closer to home, as I would be here all the time! Thank you for the great food on our stop. #spicemeister approved.

I have been driving by this Gas Stop for a few months now and decided to stop by and see how it turned out, to my surprise the sandwich board had an advertisement for Curry Lamb and that set my mood for lunch. As I walked through the door I noticed that, albeit being brand new, the atmosphere was very clean and well kept. I found the restaurant of my choice with little effort and made my order with ease, the service was quick and pleasant and my order would be served to me at my table. (I liked that) The garlic Naan was scrumptious and didn't over power the meal with garlic, the Curry Lamb was spicy...not nose-running spicy but delicious, also the flavor veggies were tangy with enough hottish spice to do the trick, the rice wasn't bad just a tad flat for my taste but still appropriate for the order. My love for Indian food is well documented here on Yelp and for me Indian Curry Naan is up to par with some of my other favorites. If you're in the area of Avenue 7 & Highway 99, stop by and give it a try.

Not bad for a gas station stop!! I was very surprised to be able to stop and grab veggies on the go. They cooked them fresh too so that was a bonus. They weren't my favorite Indian spot and were not as spicy as I like them but honestly I was surprised to find them. I only had the Okra so I can't speak to anything else there.

Palak Paneer, Rotis, jeera tomato rice and gulab jamun

Found this in a gas station rest stop while on drive to Sacramento from LA. Was pleasantly surprised and relieved to find Indian Punjabi food close to US 99 freeway. The food we ordered was all vegetarian and the staff was kind to add to our order complementary rice and gulab Jamuns. They have complementary chai too which makes it even more attractive. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. There were other food options too like KFC, Pizza Hut, Yogurtland, coffee bean etc. However for us it was the Indian food and chai and clean rest rooms that will bring us back Many thanks to the owners for thinking about their fellow Indian community travelers and opening this place, it's truly a blessing

I also tried the dahl and it was really comforting and well seasoned. open until 10:30pm is such a win. Indian food at 9pm on a weeknight because I didn't feel like cooking? yes absolutely. the late hours alone make this a regular spot for me. the menu is big which I love, lots of vegetarian options too which my friends always appreciate when we're picking a place everyone can eat at. portion sizes are generous and prices are completely fair for what you get. Riverside Dr location is easy to find, parking is fine. owe my coworker an apology for waiting this long. Bharat Royal is the real deal and it fills a gap in Fresno's food scene that I didn't fully realize was there until now.

The standout for us was definitely the chole bhature--perfectly spiced, rich, and paired with soft, fluffy bhature that just melted in your mouth. The nutri kulcha was another highlight, packed with flavor and cooked just right. To top it off, the masala soda was refreshingly tangy and a great complement to the meal. And don't miss the fish pakore--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Overall, Chatore delivers a fantastic dining experience with truly delicious food. First time I've ever ran to Yelp to review!…read more First point and most important... WHY is everyone talking about the prices? Not only is this on par for Indian food. It's a lot more affordable than other restaurants. $5 for three Samosas? That's a killer appetizer for cheap! And they're good--some places put way too much seasoning on the outside. The menu: A lot more variety, and compared to other Indian restaurants the menu is easy to navigate and very Anglicized for newcomers to Indian food. The food: I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich(I had seen the tikka roll on Yelps ig) and I got the tandoori sandwich but I am not complaining that was amazing and I didn't even know it came with fries. Butter chicken was medium and it was perfectly creamy, slightly spicy, soooo much sauce which is perfect because I dipped my sandwich AND samosas in there. I am so stuffed and I have food left for days(which is great bc if I love anything more than Indians food it's cold Indian leftover straight from the fridge) The service was great, young girl at the front was so sweet and helpful when I said it was my first time. Worth spending my money here at a family owned restaurant that serves up awesome food in a clean and open space--a must try!
