Butter chicken, basmati rice, cheese Naan.
    Kristen F.

This is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The butter chicken is to die for! Literally so creamy and flavorful. Quality chicken, no gross grissle or funky flavor. Also the cheese Naan and flatbread were excellent. We had the chicken and mushroom Biryani as well. Great flavors and quality ingredients. The basmati rice was wonderful too. We will absolutely return to Tandoori Night in Fresno!

Tandoori Night is the GO TO spot for Indian food in Fresno. Their dishes are delicious, we enjoy their tikka masala and garlic naan. Many dishes can be made vegetarian style which is great for a family with diverse eating habits. The family run restaurant makes you feel as though you're welcome in someone's home, eating in their dining room. The staff is generous. As a former regular, Tandoori Night is my #1 recommendation for unique dishes in Fresno! This place is definitely a hidden gem.

One thing that stood out was the amazing customer service! Our waiter/ server was so nice and funny. Timely and made us feel so welcome. The ambiance was quiet, clean and great lighting. Casual dine in . I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan and it was delicious, complaints about my dish it was a home run. The vegetable samosas were delish and came with a side of Chana masala. Every dish was amazing ! What stood out it to me was the complimentary wine! So good and paired well with the food. Great experience!

Great flavors and attentive and courteous service. Had been hearing great things about this place since moving here 8 years ago and finally took the time to visit to satisfy the wife's Indian food craving. Can't believe we waited so long to come in! My goat curry was infused with savory flavors and the meat was tender, while my wife's butter chicken curry was an indulgent treat of creamy sauce and melt in your mouth chicken. But I think the stars of this show are the samosas, which were a perfect gentle crispy on the outside and moist and bursting with flavors on the inside. And while we did not take advantage (this time), the offerings of complementary wine and dessert for our group was a nice touch. It definitely won't be another eight years before we return.

Pretty big restaurant with good service and food. We went around noon on a Friday and the restaurant was pretty empty so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Went in a group of 4 and ordered a good amount of things to try. Plenty of parking right out front Mango lassi: 4/5. Just tasted like a mango smoothie, good but nothing crazy Garlic naan: 5/5. Ordered 2 of these for 4 people Vegetable samosa: 5/5. Would def get this again Lamb vindaloo (spicy): 5/5. My first time trying to vindaloo and I thought it was really good and had a good amount of spice that wasn't crazy but you could still taste it Butter chicken: 5/5. Solid with big pieces of chicken The curries also came with rice on the side that I didn't take a photo of but it was plenty and we ended up not finishing it between everything else that we ordered

Tandoori Night was a highly recommended place in Fresno, so my friends and I decided to drop by when we were passing through. We came a little after 11AM when the restaurant opens, so it was pretty empty inside. There was plenty of seating, so I imagine that the restaurant is very capable of accommodating for large parties even during peak hours. Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm welcome and were quickly seated. FOOD: I want to preface by saying that I don't have much experience with Indian food, but my pleasant time at Tandoori Night ensures that there will be many more in the future. I recommend coming with a group of people since portions are fairly generous and so you can try multiple items at once. The menu is also super extensive, so it was quite overwhelming to choose what to order. Garlic Naan (4/5) - One order comes with one large garlic naan cut up into four triangles. It was nice and warm, but I would have personally liked an even stronger garlic flavor. Overall, a great carb vehicle to dip in curries. Vegetable Samosa Chana (4/5) - Had a flavorful and fluffy vegetable filling. The outside was wonderfully crispy. I learned that chana is a chickpea curry, and I would say that it went well with the samosas. It was accompanied by two chutneys/sauces that I was unfamiliar with. The green chutney/sauce was the true star of the dish, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a whole bottle of it. Lamb Vindaloo & Potato (5/5) - I think lamb is a difficult protein to get right sometimes, but this restaurant nailed it. The lamb was nice and tender, and the potatoes were nicely cooked. Deliciously flavorful, and it paired nicely with the rice and the garlic naan. If you opt to get this spicy, you will definitely taste the spice. Butter Chicken (5/5) - Super yummy, and my friend kept raving about how life-changing it was for her. I thought it was delicious and creamy. Super tasty with the rice. I would get it again. Tandoori Chicken (3/5) - I was excited for this since it was listed as a signature dish on the menu. It was decent, but it was my least favorite item of everything we ordered. The portion we were given was definitely generous, but I thought the chicken was rather dry and the flavors were slightly on the duller side. I probably wouldn't opt to order this again next time. SERVICE: (5/5) The staff are super polite and welcoming. Our server was sweet and responded kindly to our questions about some menu items. Food came out in a timely manner. TLDR// Tandoori Night is a tasty spot for Indian food that lives up to its good reputation. I'm not in Fresno often, but I would hit up this spot for Indian food if I was in the area.

Wow! What a great meal! The food is so so good! I was nervous when we got there, there was no cars in the lot, no one in the restaurant. But what a red herring. The service was good, even offered a complimentary glass of wine. The restaurant is lovely and a great place to have a a quiet dinner with your partner. We will def be back

I ordered goat biryani, medium hot, extra riata, and garlic naan. What I received was exactly that plus some complimentary golab juman. The food was good, the portions were huge, and I was very happy. I'm on a per diem, so I don't care about the price, but I didn't think it was excessive, especially considering how much food you receive. I'll be eating this biryani for 3 days!

We stopped by Tandoori Night for an early dinner and were the first ones in, but by the time we left, the place was packed--and for good reason. We started off with veg samosas and an iced chai tea. The chai was super fragrant and refreshing--definitely one of the better iced chai teas I've had. The samosas were excellent--crispy exterior, flavorful filling, and came with a side of seasoned garbanzos that were a really nice touch. They also brought out a chutney and a green sauce, and wow, that green sauce was incredible. I'd come back just for that alone. For mains, we had the chicken tikka masala (ordered spicy but it came out pretty mild), but the flavor was still on point. Paired really well with the garlic naan, which was warm, slightly crispy, and garlicky in the best way. We also got the mixed grill--plenty of chicken, shrimp, and sheesh kebab, served sizzling and super flavorful. Finished off with the gulab jamun, which were soft, slightly warm, and not too sweet--honestly the best I've had anywhere. Service was friendly and efficient, and even though it was empty when we got there, it definitely filled up fast. If you're in the area and craving Indian food, this spot is absolutely worth checking out.

Lunch special. Butter chicken, curry chicken, chili chicken, salad, rice & garlic naan. So good!
    Nicole B.

This is one of my favorite Indian food restaurants for the very fresh and great tasting dishes they have and especially for the lunch special. If you haven't been here yet, I recommend you come and try the lunch special so you can get to enjoy a verity of 3 different delicious dishes on one plate. You have 2 choices, either chicken or vegetarian. The lunch special also includes freshly made Naan (your choice of garlic or plain), Basmati rice, Raiti (Indian yogurt sauce), salad and even dessert which is Gulab Jamun. You also get to choose your spice level, which I always get mild just to be safe. Anyway, I just wanted to say how delicious the food is here, and I highly recommend you try it if you haven't. You will NOT be disappointed. Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan is my favorite.

The folks who run this place seem to really care about the quality of the food and the experience the guests have. Unlike our first visit on Valentine's Day which was very busy, we came back on a weekend evening this fall, and there were only a couple other diners. It seems like "the new normal" is that most business for these mom-and-pop type restaurants appears to be by Doordash, Grubhub, UberEats -- even if they're making plenty of sales, very few people come in and sit down. It's odd. You can no longer judge how good a restaurant will be by how many people are seating having dinner on a Saturday night. But despite not very many people dining in, it's a comfortable, welcoming, clean space. Everything was still fresh, delicious, and very similar to last time, EXCEPT: The main update I wanted to give is that the little "glitches" I noticed when the place was brand new are all gone now. This is just as I expected, but I wanted to let Yelpers know this. So yes, this time the got everything we ordered, we got sauces with the appetizer, and we were given full-size dinner plates. Love those black lentils. Everyone: go eat them!

Let me tell you--the food was AMAZING! The goat curry was easily the best goat curry I've ever had. The chili paneer was a solid 10/10, and the fish pakoras were phenomenal. The tandoori chicken came out piping hot, which I loved, and the flavor was even better. The butter chicken was delicious, with a great portion size and plenty of sauce for the naan.
