The lamb tikka masala and the butter chicken was so tender and delicious. Great flavor. Garlic Naan was also excellent. Exactly what you would want. Okay the very bad. The coconut shrimp looked amazing but was salty. Surprisingly it wasnt boxed shrimp which was appreciated. Thought it was a one off and decided to eat it with the rice to balance, which my husband did and I only had one. I also ordered the saag also. It was like a plate of salt, adding rice did not help. I had one spoonful and left the entire dish. I let the waitress know but she just explained they add salt and sometimes people don't like it. Didn't offer to remake it or take it off. We enjoyed the Indian dishes we selected. The lamb in the lamb biryani was so moist and tender. It was a good amount of lamb. The lamb curry sauce was good, eating it with the fluffy and fragrant basmati rice. The Amritsari fish tikka came out on a sizzling platter. The fish was flaky, soft and delicious! The garlic naan was garlicky delicious! The waitress came to check on us a couple of times. Even the chef came out to greet us and of course we let him know how delicious the dishes were. The restaurant was clean. I liked the lighting with the hanging lights over our table. It felt cozy and relaxing. They had a wall of portraits on one side of the restaurant and a bicycle on another wall. There are free parking stalls in front of the restaurant. They have two restrooms. read more

Came here for the first time for my SIL's bday and it did not disappoint. Everything, and I mean everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I was shocked at the bill because we ordered 10+ dishes and it wasn't too expensive. One of the best Indian food I've ever had and I will be going back with my family. This is such a hidden gem! The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. My son had the paneer wrap which was huge, and my husband had the goat kadai, and I had tandoori chicken. The portions were generous and the prices good and the chef even came out herself to make sure the food was tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Second time we've been here and we wanted to try a few new things. Food this time was as delicious as before. Ambiance is still very cute and eclectic -- we enjoyed the Indian music playing. The service is still friendly and excellent -- food came out extremely fresh and hot and clearly wasn't sitting around. We miss the fun robot a bit -- but we assume that was just due to covid and it's no longer needed. One new item we tried this visit was onion bhaji as an appetizer with a couple of different chutneys. This arrived to the table hot and crispy and perfectly cooked. We haven't tried these before but they reminded us of onion rings, but with Indian seasonings. They weren't in "ring" form though. The onions were perfectly cooked -- not under- or overcooked. And the batter was light and crispy. Those were great. Another new item we tried here was shahi paneer and it compared favorably to shahi paneer we've had at other places -- paneer cubes in a delicious creamy sauce with a bit of a bite to it (we ordered everything "medium" spice). The garlic naan was a highlight -- just the perfect combination of crispy and chewy and slightly charred. The aloo gobi was excellent -- because it is not a "sauced" dish, at some places the aloo gobi can be a little too dry or bland -- but this aloo gobi was cooked with plenty of oil and onions and was really delicious. Worst service ever! We called ahead of time to reserve for a large party and they said it was okay but they were not prepared whatsoever. Get this, we were the ONLY party there for some time yet the service still sucked. Naans were brought out before any of the entrees the naans were meant to be consumed with. Many food items that we ordered didn't even make it onto our table. We'd be a lot more understanding had we just showed us as a big party but we called ahead and were given the green light. Drove out from the Bay Area to check this place out. They didn't seem to know what gluten free was so I had to explain. I thought the pictures on yelp were pretty convincing about labeling of gluten free items etc but the menu that was presented was very different so I don't know if someone uploaded the wrong photos to this location but I've included the current menu photos. The menu is extensive and there is lots to choose from, however there was a section or two that was not complete, example; using Lorem Ipsum filler text that gives me no idea what the actual item contains/flavor profiles. They were very quick and got everything to my table in a very timely manner. Flavors are good and spice level is perfect but it's not drive-from-the-bay-area worth it. I got butter chicken to go. I ordered ahead and it took about 20 minutes for the food to be ready. I was disappointed when I took my order out to my car and realize they hadn't given me rice with my order, which the menu says is included. I went inside to ask for rice, and they charged me for it. I'm not sure if this is standard, or maybe I should have pushed back and said it should have been included as part of the order, but I didn't. I don't mean to be dramatic - it wasn't a big deal - but that whole situation was a bit disappointing and soured my experience. The food was good, but pretty standard.
