Very clean and well maintained campground. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

Great campground and RV park. Well managed. Lots of trees and shade and close to miles and miles of bike trails that are nice, level and paved. Had some trouble leveling our RV, but once we did it was a good site. We were able to get our satellite tv and our Starlink signals thankfully. Lastly and most important, the staff went above and beyond to help us get our stay scheduled, so there's that! Enjoy your stay! read more

This is one of the few campgrounds around Duluth. Located on a small lake about ten minutes from downtown, it's a great place to camp if you're exploring the area. We took the last tent site on a Saturday evening so they fill up fast. It was $31 for a tent site for the night. The site had a small fire pit and picnic table, like most campgrounds. The unfortunate part of the sites is that there isn't much privacy. Really no trees at all, just all grass. There is one bathroom facility located within a short distance from all the sites. They were in good condition and also had laundry available. The staff were friendly and they have a small little store at check in as well. read more

This is a pretty standard campground but it has the plus of being really close to downtown Duluth, so if you are in the area but not wanting to spend $100 or $200 a night for a hotel in town, it could totally be a way to do a trip to Duluth on the cheap as long as you're willing to camp. The campground is easy to access and easy to navigate. The sites are not big and you are pretty close to your neighbors with no trees or anything to divide you. It's really kind of just a big open field, rather than a campground where the sites are near each other but have a little privacy. And there are lots of people with RVs and campers, so it seems like there's a lot of activity around you. But generally people were really nice and courteous to each other. There are real bathrooms but they are communal. While part of me really enjoyed this luxury having camped in places where there were not such amenities, the bathrooms were nothing fancy and were heavily used. I don't mean to imply they were gross... but at the same time, I would recommend bringing a good pair of flip flops or shower shoes as I didn't really want to go barefoot. The people running the camp were plenty nice, and there's even a little store for things you might have forgotten. But we wound up buying ice and things off site since we found the prices to be a bit too high. Overall, a fine place to throw up a tent and sit around a campfire. read more

We were so disappointed by this campground! We pulled in on Wednesday and it was nice and quiet, by Friday night it was beyond packed!!! No one was abiding by the camp rules, there were loose dogs everywhere. We watched the neighbors dog come over by our site, go poop and we smelled it for hours and finally picked it up ourselves. We had our dogs, and didn't even feel comfortable having them out in their fenced area we had made. There were 10 cars in one campsite area. the one tent camper by us was passed out, with his bare butt showing, on the grass, then he woke up and was loudly saying he was going to kill the person that stole his phone and then proceeded to yell out the phone number for a good 30 minutes. My aunt was so nervous to walk back to her campsite, my husband escorted her. we had dogs walking up to our campsite and when I told them their dogs need to be on leash, the guest cursed at me and called me names. It was the trashiest group of campers we have ever encountered. I have never felt more unsafe about our camping area/the grounds in my life. I would not walk our dogs alone for their final bathroom or early morning bathroom walk. Tent campers had trash all over their sites, bottles littered around the campfire in the morning; was so disappointing. We couldn't wait to leave!!! We vacation in Duluth every summer at the same time for just under a week for the dog show and we will NEVER be back and we will warn all the other campers that come up to that even to not stay here!!! read more

The camp hosts were so wonderful. The campground itself is a hidden little gem. It's not your standard campground, but it was quiet, the spaces were nice and the nearby bike trails were easy to access. It's a fun little spot in the middle of Duluth, and we really enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for very remote or wooded camping, this isn't the placed, but we lived this little place and will be back next time we come through MN! read more

The site we were at was a muddy mess and we didn't have much of a gravel driveway to park on. Some sites really didn't have anything. The campsite was adequate but they cleaned the bathrooms at checkout both days which was annoying. The good part is that it is right off of the munger trail and there is a kwick trip nearby if you forget anything. My search for a Duluth campground continues. read more

Nice quiet wooded setting with clean bathrooms and showers. The 50 amp full service sites are in a center section, surrounded by sites for 30 amp & water only and tent sites. We got a site along the edge among big shade trees. The weather was hot for Duluth (82) but one a/c was sufficient. Would give 5 stars if the laundry room was unlocked at 9am as posted. Will definitely stay again read more

Very disappointed with our stay. The bathrooms were not clean. Two stalls only for either sex. Bath and toilet together. If you don't have sewer hook-up, you won't have much choice if you are staying several days! Could have been better care by the staff. read more

For $42.00 / night, this is a poor campground. If the rate was $20.00/ night, it would be OK. Sites are close, and small. The roads are more packed dirt than anything. Had some rain, nothing major, but the roads were not walkable...very muddy. Sites were muddy and had water sitting for days. We could not move around without stepping in puddles. The bathroom was OK, but the showers were unacceptable. Water pressure was extremely low, and no place to put your stuff or change in private. Shower had a curtain, but clothes storing, and dressing was just in the open are of the restroom. Dumping required you to pull your rig around the outer road (muddy as it was), dump, and to exit, you had to drive around the outer road again. Very poor placement of dumping station, and, no running water at the dumping station for rinsing off your hose. This is one of the poorest campgrounds we have stayed at all over the US, and one if the most expensive. One plus....it is close and convenient to Duluth and attractions. read more

Wonderful setting especially sites by the river. Pleasant staff working the office, clean bathrooms and showers. Access to the munger bike trail is a cinch. We easily navigated the streets and sidewalks east towards town by bicycle to have dinner out. read more
