Joe came out, replaced a motherboard and power supply, then prompted to say my tv was broken due to "liquid intrusion" while simultaneously saying he had no idea why it happened. His job was to assess the situation and report back to Asurion, but by tinkering with the internal components he broke my warranty with the manufacturer. By using "liquid intrusion" to define his analysis, Asurion denied my claim for replacement, then Joe sent a quote to fix my $1800 TV for $3000 dollars. Asurion reps told me they base their claim off of what the technician says in their report, so to me this was deliberate sabotage, preventing me from getting a replacement, and simultaneously destroying any help I could get from the manufacture. When I tried to reach out for some questions and to see if he could change his verbiage in his report he said he could not. If I could give a 0 rating I would.

But he said he could remove the hard drives for free. I agreed to that. He spent half an hour taking out tiny screws, opening the backs, taking out and handing me the drives and reassembling. I asked why he just didn't put the screws in a baggie (they recycle those as well) and he said he likes to deliver the units in good shape to the recycler. He's an amazing tech and so committed to doing the best he can for external customers like me and the recyclers. This is why I love Best Buy and Geek squad.

I originally had them in my cart online, but decided to go shop in person instead. Online, I was able to attach two offers to one item (20% off and a $3 off coupon). But when I went to purchase in the store, the attendant told me you cannot use both. I don't understand how I can literally buy the exact same things from the exact same store and if I buy it online and pick it up, I can stack deals, but you cannot if you go into the store. Then the attendant's response was "I don't make the rules"... and "that is what I was told by my manager". If there wasn't such a long line behind me, I would have whipped out Karen mode and asked for the manager, because it just didn't seem right. In the future, IF I shop from Target again, I will online shop online. The craziest part is, they are just hurting their own business. When I shopped online, I had 4 items in my cart... but shopping with my eyes in person and getting suckered into things I don't need, I had 15 items I ended up buying today worth $168.
