BUYER BEWARE: Jeff laughed at my Wife and I after requesting pickup and said that they would charge a 20% restocking fee to return the units that were never installed. I wish I could leave 0 stars, because that is what this place deserves. Jeff, the owner, argues and yells at his customers. Their delivery team was two guys in a U-Haul who didn't shut off our water and proceeded to over-tighten a valve until it broke. Water started pouring everywhere onto our garage floor and drywall. The delivery-men took no responsibility for the damage they caused and advised to call a plumber. We will be taking Jeff and this appliance direct facility to small claims for the damages they caused and refuse to pay for. Jeff says he is prepared for legal action and refused to speak without yelling and arguing with his customers who just spent $1,600 at his business. My Wife and I were so disgusted with his behavior that we requested the deal be cancelled and he pick up the units, as we did not want to do business with him anymore. I also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. We are stuck with the units, after their unprofessional joke of an owner, Jeff, hung up with us and refuses to do the right thing. Bought a brand new washer and dryer set for 1400 and paid for extended 4 year warranty and 100 extra for delivery and installation. Washer never worked and the "manager" refuses to send someone out to fix it. I'm being told that it's the the cold water valve that's corroded and that's is the reason my washer will not turn on, no lights or anything. I called to schedule a repair and Jay is the nicest and most helpful person you will meet! but WARNING! I would have never bought the appliances if I knew the owner was as RUDE of a person as he is! This is the first time I speak with the owner too, I always speak with Jay. I recently had to follow up on the appointment Jay scheduled for me, when I called in- from the beginning of the conversation jeff (the owner) was EXTREMELY unprofessional, he cut me off, YELLED and spoke to me as if I were a child(not even children deserve to be spoken to how he spoke to me). I asked to speak with Jay and with a condescending tone he said that he is the owner of the business and Jay is his son, he continued with his unprofessionalism, became sarcastic and passive aggressive, he didn't let me speak and disconnected the call on me. Im extremely thankful that Jay works here and really hate the fact that he has to work with a disrespectful, immature man that lacks so much self awareness. If you go here, please be aware that Jeff may be in a bad mood and become an egomaniac and you might get chewed up by him on any day. My experience at this store in Malabar was not a pleasant one, customer service a 0, attentiveness of sales person, 0. Hours of operation 8:30 am, not so, the door was closed with the salesperson seating in front of a computer. Thru the front glass outside I had to request salesperson if the store was closed, he finally got up and open the door. Sales person did not greet me as I enter, all the time I was in the store he was more interested in the computer than trying to show me features of the stoves. Unless I asked he keeps ignoring me, I will NOT RECOMMEND APPLIANCE DIRECT for your needs. This business deals in cash only to get the APPLIANCE out of the store. read more

Went to the Palm Bay store on 5/18/19. Told the gentlemen what I wanted (washer and dryer). They didn't try to up sell me nor came across as pushy. Very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very pleasant to deal with. Bought the set, they delivered, set-up, conducted test run, and even gave an operations block of instruction within 45 mins of purchase! Oh and they removed old washer/dryer set! I needed a new dishwasher, so I wound up getting one from the local Appliance Direct. Big mistake. So they send a couple of guys out to initially come and install it. Now, according to what I was told, they have this colored sticker system. Red is scratch and sent, yellow is brand new, etc. So I got one that was brand new so I could depend on it. Anyway, because it was new, it came with all new attachments. So they go ahead and hook everything up and screw the things down into place. Well, as they were finishing up and about to head out. One of the guys says, "Keep an eye on this hose. It was leaking, but I tightened it and got it to stop. If you have any problems just call us. " I said okay. Well, the very next day, it starts leaking again. So I call them and they send someone out. Only it's not the same guys who installed it the first time. So I explain the problem to him, he comes in and I show him it's leaking. He tightens it up, and it stops again. Cool. I'll keep an eye on it. This time, I think it makes it a day and a half, so I call back again and say hey same thing is still happening." Then the guy on the phone starts getting rude with me saying hey you might have to call a plumber, I can't keep sending my guys out there." I said a plumber? I know what the problem is. It's y'all job to install the thing properly the first time! Then he passes me off to another guy who says, "Okay, I'll be out there Tuesday at 8:30am." Mind you, it's Friday at this point. So I said, "Fine, I'll be here." The weekend goes by, it's now Tuesday TEN O'CLOCK AM and no word from them. I knew I should've gone to The Home Depot or Lowes. Now I'm going to have to go buy a new attachment hose and replace it myself. Which wouldn't be a big deal because the previous dishwasher that I took out of there came out nice and easy. This one, they put like a thousand screws in, which would've been great had they checked for leaks first. So the moral of the story here is, STAY AWAY FROM THESE SECOND HAND SCRATCH AND DENT PLACES. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND IT'S JUST NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. SPEND YOUR MONEY AT A REPUTABLE, ESTABLISHED COMPANY. read more

This place is Honorable. First they start advertising on ads and their website: 1/2 Price Samsung Fridge - Each Store is getting 2 truckloads! Complete and utter BS! Went to the store and they only have floor models and only 3 total (all different models). Then with the protective film on the front the unit looks fine, gets delivered and when the plastic protective cover removed the unit has several dents and scratches. looks like something we bought at a garage sale. Then they refused to take it back without a 20% stocking fee and the guy who sold the unit claiming to be the owner of the store starts yelling at me telling me "you saw the unit and you chose that unit, what do you want from me?". This was the first of the new appliances for our new kitchen and can guarantee no other appliance will be bought here... My husband had to make an emergency trip to Florida from New York just as I was about to start radiation treatments because our property manager let us know our full fridge had died. He stopped at both Home Depot and Lowe's and was told it would be weeks before the fridge we wanted could be delivered. He went to Appliance Direct in Palm Bay and Jeff could not have been more helpful. Got us the fridge we wanted and said he would deliver it personally if something happened and his truck couldn't deliver within a week. Unfortunately, what started out as a great guy and a good transaction has turned into a lemon of a washer and Jeff Rock, the owner, not helping me and now not returning my phone calls. I bought a washer and a service agreement and paid over $600. Right after a year, the washer started having major problems and I had to use my service agreement, 4 TIMES!! Now I can't use the washer, the drum is wobbling again. The service agreement company has offered me $115 for the washer and Jeff Rock promised to help me and has not. I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator over a month ago. The first one delivered had to be returned after 2 service calls which determined it could not be repaired. The replacement refrigerator then arrived with several large scratches. This was also replaced. The third replacement refrigerator is not cooling at all since delivery. I have been forced to suffer through many calls and texts by Jeff at this location since he REFUSES to cancel my sale. His position is that I must keep the refrigerator after I must now, for the 3rd time, deal with having yet more service people come into my home from an independent appliance repair company to repair the non-working brand new refrigerator. Whirlpool agrees with me that I should, after receiving 3 new refrigerators, be able to have Appliance Direct, via Jeff "Rock" cancel my sale. I need a working refrigerator and paid for a brand new one. He expects me to be satisfied with a repaired one. His "customer service" in the name of Appliance Direct, is deplorable at best, having me deal with accomodating service people, refrigerators picked up, new deliveries, phone calls, scheduling, and not one of the 3 refrigerators have been working or received in new condition. I should have gone to Lowe's, Home Depot or Sears, etc. as this ridiculous process would never happen. I highly recommend that you do not do business with this store. BUYER BEWARE! read more
