Good food, humble service. The basic dal tadka reminded me home. The veg noodles had a different preparation I ever had but they were delicious nonetheless. My daughter was cranky when we entered the restaurant but they were attentive enough to distract her by offering her some ice cream. I don't care if it's paid or not, the gesture itself was kind. I will always stop by at the place whenever visiting sea to sky highway. We were told this place had some of the best food and drinks, and were not disappointed! The servers were great, friendly and followed all Covid procedures. Probably the best onion bahjis I've ever had. Also had another appetizer that was a dip of sorts with crunchy chips which was spicy and creamy and delicious. Found this place while returning from the Sea To Sky hiking trail. I liked the colourful interior, funky music, spacious seating area and menu options. We ordered the paneer & prawns sizzlers and vegetable biryani. The quantity was good enough but the taste was only okay. The staff was nice and polite but the service was quite slow. This place is great! Very comfortable dining area and, of course, Indian pop music videos were playing. I always jump at the chance to get mango lassi and theirs was delicious. We ordered the veggie manchurian, which we loved, as well as butter chicken, steamed rice and garlic and paneer naan. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and had good recommendations for us. Price: upscale prices at "fast food" service Variety: so much, it can be overwhelming Food: - onion bhaji - best we've had. We come back for this all the time - fish pakora - I voluntarily order this and I don't eat seafood. Order every time. - paneer pakora - wouldn't order again, just go for fish. It was too salty/rich - vegetable pakora - not as good as the onion bhaji. Wouldn't order again - samosas - decent compared to the other ones in Squamish. Order this for long drives (not worth it to add the Chana though) - fish vindaloo - see above, too much sauce to fish ratio though. Would probably love fish korma, but will keep ordering this. - lamb korma - sauce to meat ratio is high, especially for the price, but I love the sauce. I would order anything in this korma - prawn biryani - average, wouldn't order a biryani again - aloo gobi - average, wouldn't order again Service: slow. Don't be in a hurry when you go. Add an extra 10-30 min for takeout orders. When eating in, expect 4/5 of your party to get their food and have the 5th one forgotten about. Rice and drinks will take the longest to prepare. Driving through downtown Squamish looking for a place to eat and found this little gem tonight. Just one step in and the aromas captured us. Our server was a great guy who had, himself, just arrived to Squamish less than a year ago. The food came quickly, and it was delicious. They brought extra spice in case we needed it, but it was perfect the way it came. I think they knew we may have ordered it a bit spicier than we'd be able to handle. We ordered butter chicken and mango lamb. Our server had suggested the garlic naan, and it was so good. We may just order naan and sauce next time, it was that good. So much food, we even had left overs to bring home. I was so impressed with all the staff. The chef even came out to make sure that we were happy with our order. There was a difficult table that were obviously scammers. The staff were so professional and handled themselves well, going above and beyond what they should have.
