    a table full of food

would have never expected amazing viet food in squamish, but this is it! The pho broth is so rich and delicious especially on a cold day, and the meat is really good. A few people also got the vermicelli bowls and they were also good. It's located next to a lot of other cool shops and restaurants, and dessert close by too!

Went for dinner, was lack of AC until more people show up pack the store then they decide to crank up the AC. $19.95 for (small) only size pho was not enough to fulfill ur stomach. Soup was genuine good, meat was ok. Meatball was slice into 3 pieces which makes me Lmao looks like I'm missing some toppings from assort cuts specialty. Other table grill lemon grass chicken rice was ladies size portion. With recession economic and income, we give reasonable amounts of tip. Before leaving not event greet for guest leave. What a shame. Pro : Soup is genuine, very less tiny msg Con : Male eater will reconsider eat this place. If u don't give enough tips they will be stoned without greeting. Will I go back, more likely maybe to maybe not. I get hungry very soon. I don't felt full eat there with the price I paid. You will reconsider prior dine in there or order more food to paid more.

Amazing pho. It's the best I've had, as the broth is really delish and rich without being heavy. The portion size is huge and they gave us the perfect amount of meat for the soup (one of my friends needed a bit more noodles, which the restaurant graciously provided). The service was kind, our waitress chatted with us and was very kind. This is a premium business and we are so happy to have stopped by. If we ever come to the area again, we will be sure to eat here again. Already miss their pho!

Solid Pho in a place that I didn't expect to get solid pho with all the oceans and mountains. We had a beef pho with steak and brisket and a pho ga. Both are very solid with good savory broth. The rolls are also well done. The service is nice and simple. Again, an overall decent pho that would fit right in anywhere in California.

    Pleasant decorations, clean, new restaurant.

Food is not salty like many Vietnamese place. Chicken Rice: the meat is elegantly done. Pho is aromatics. BanH mi sandwich is has a crispy roll. Very tasty. Service is a bit slow because only one waiter. But she tried to be cheerful all the time.

Phở đặc biệt. Sadly, quite light on the thai basil.

Interesting new Vietnamese place that's fast enough that it competes against fast food places for speed. When we stopped by here, their pho was ready in about three minutes. The thing I find interesting about this place is that their featured dish is phở đặc biệt which, while not as out there as something like bún bò huế, contains ingredients that many people who grew up in Canada would find a bit weird (my dining companion found it a bit off-putting and wasn't willing to try anything but the broth). However, it's also the sweetest phở, so much so that my companion said that it tasted like a dessert broth. I thought it was actually pretty good for what they were gong for, but I wonder who out there is looking for both a very sweet phở and phở with tripe in it.

    Shrimp Noodle Bowl

Stopped in after a bike ride for take out. Called in my order and it took 10 minutes (Thursday night) - I ordered the Shrimp Noodle Bowl. It was so good! Two huge and probably the best spring rolls I've ever had, six big shrimps, salad, rice noodles and nuoc cham to pour over it all. I forgot to ask for hoisin/hot sauce - next time. Enjoyed it whilst watching the sunset at Porteau Cove. I'll be back for sure!

Excellent to the last slurp. Fresh ingredients, Small mom and pop establishment, they come from Vancouver every day to work their little restaurant, very friendly, quick service and when you ask for the Hoisin and Sriracha they serve it right way 1/2 and 1/2 in one little bowl.

Starbuck's was Mr. B's favorite for coffee and we prefer the smaller independently owned coffee shops and Fox and Oak is a gem. Located in downtown Squamish, really on the outskirts of downtown. This tiny little spot has a long bar with seating and then a lovely patio. The staff at the register taking orders both times was so friendly, helpful and offered great recommendations. On our first visit it was a latte for Mr. B and a Chai Latte for me, both were creamy, filled with rich flavor without being bitter. We also shared a maple walnut donut. Oh it was so good. I can't say the last time I had a donut, but when in Canada, maple anything is always so good. The donut was light and had a lovely maple glaze on the top and then toasted walnuts. So good! On our second visit, we had the same drinks, the same Maple Walnut Donut and added a blueberry fritter. The fritter was crunchy on the outside, after the first bite we could see the layers of dough much like a croissant and in the middle were loads of fresh blueberries. Wow, fresh berries and not a sweet fake blueberry gel. It truly was scrumptious. Parking is on the street and can be tight, but both times we found parking even with a short walk. Which was good to walk off our donuts and pastries.

We ate at a cute 100% vegan cafe called @tuba_cafe_ right in the heart of downtown Squamish, offering lots of smoothie flavors, coffees, a few sandwiches and four different kinds of vegan desserts! When entering the restaurant, you can actually enter from their front or back doors. We decided to split a "Kado Sandwich" (panini) - consisting of zucchini, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, spice, parsley, tomato paste, and cheese. If you're wondering if the panini tastes as good as it looks, it absolutely does .. and, even better when paired with their provided dipping sauce! I decided to grab a smoothie, simply and aptly named "Brown" .. espresso, mango, banana, walnut, protein powder, and almond butter ... a lot of varied ingredients that really complemented one another in the final product. Last but certainly not least, we both ordered a different dessert. My wife ordered the "Tiramisu", consisting of cream cheese, almond butter, biscuit, and maple syrup and I ordered the "Cheesecake", consisting of date, walnut, cream cheese, maple syrup, and almond butter. While both desserts shared some similar ingredients, each had their own distinct flavor and was a perfect touch to our shared sandwich and smoothie. Whether you're driving through Squamish or staying for a bit, if you're looking for fast service, delicious food with simple ingredients, right in the heart of downtown, you should definitely check them out!
