I wish I could give more stars…read more My Physiatrist referred me to Tailwind for physical therapy for my shoulder. They are amazing. They even have therapy dogs! Very caring and supportive environment. They are always checking in to see how you are and modify where needed. Great treatment suggestions for at home care as well. I specifically asked for a female masseuse after that and they kept scheduling me with men so why would I show up to the appointment?? Ridiculous to charge me no show fees, so you expect me to place myself in an uncomfortable situation with a man because you can't follow a basic request? Enjoy my $300, because clearly y'all need it more than me :) I hope you're proud of yourselves charging a young woman who was the victim of a reckless driver because she didn't want to be in an uncomfortable situation with a man. Also, this is an unsafe area, tweakers hang out right outside the building. Much much better options out there. Really disappointing you guys...I would assume you got in to this field to help people but clearly I was wrong. Major changes need to be made, I strongly urge you to do better and treat people with respect and dignity.

She adjusts pressure as needed and checks in regularly during the massage to make sure I don't need the pressure adjusted. I received excellent care from beginning to end, from front end staff and PT staff. Their depth of experience is evident and their building culture is pleasant and welcoming. Cale Nichols made coming to PT almost fun (at least I generally looked forward to it) which was important since it usually hurt:/ Without reservation, I recommend LHPT to anyone looking looking to recover from an injury or surgery. There were no appointments available to reschedule so we were still charged the service fee. I understand cancellation fees but when someone is very sick there should be an exception, so you don't get others sick. The policy is very strict there are no exceptions, and it seems they are always overbooked so rescheduling seems to be limited. I do agree the PT therapist are great minus the desk policy.

He listens, works very carefully and tries alternative ways to realign the spine in order to avoid causing any harm. Even the way he manipulates the neck results in my back "cracking" all the way down to the top of my fusion! Eventually we resorted to the twist-and-pressure that is traditional in chiropractic care, but my lumbar was being very stubborn and making life quite difficult. Again, he began gently, going by my cues as to the aggressiveness needed for the application. I am very pleased. I've been to chiropractors who want visits 2-3 times a week for 3 months; this place didn't do that. Usually a 2-week course is recommended, then a re-evaluation of symptoms, and a new judgement made from there. Ultimately, it's left in the patient's hands, with no pressure to continue with a recommendation. I'm now able to move my vertebrae on my own, for the most part, but still visit every 10-14 days. At least until I'm comfortable with the level of re-education my bones need.

So far after 2 visits I leave feeling more relaxed with a lot less pain. They ate considerate and explain everything they are doing and why. Dr.Gordon PT came highly recommended to me by my mother and another family member that required PT in the past. I can't stress enough how much different it feels to be here, it's almost like family. If you need some PT I think you should trust what my mom says and give them a try!!
