The prescription was not the same as my sample lenses. Because the lenses were purchased at Costco and one used before, I realized what was wrong, I was stuck with $200 of contacts I could not wear. They asked me if I would like a re-exam and I refused, what good is it going to a Dr. who already screwed up. Temple was kind and understanding but limited on what she could do. I received a questionnaire from the corporate office and filled it out with the facts (as above) It stated they would like to talk further and asked if it was ok to call. Of course. That call got action. Temple, who had already been so caring called and explained who the new Dr. was. What he would do before selling contacts and they offered a free eye exam. I agreed, with some hesitation and embarrassment. It was not necessary as they were welcoming, and the new eye Dr. spent about 45 minutes making sure the new contacts would fit. He even recognized I did not want daily wear contacts and gave me a test pair that were really comfortable. As fate would have it my husband hit my hand when I was placing a contact in my eye, and we have never found it. Upon calling, Temple, I was given a new pair and explained I didn't feel I was reading menus as well as I could. They included another contact to try, after talking with the Doctor. Contacts are now comfortable, and I am able to read a menu. I am going back again. Great difference with a doctor who knows what he is doing from one who does not.

I was able to easily schedule my appointment over the phone after a few rounds of phone tag and found a lovely appointment at the end of the day on a Friday to make for easy work scheduling. All three of the staff I encountered were professional and answered my questions about COVID safety precautions and cleaning processes. They also took my temperature upon entry. This particular visit was just for an eye exam but it's worth noting that they have a fun lineup of prescription (and non) sunglasses and glasses. Invista Optical is conveniently located a little over a block from the Cultural Trail and Mass Ave action making it especially handy for downtown dwellers and employees. Would recommend!

I placed an order online for prescription sunglasses on July 02, 2025. I was told that it had been verified and it was immediately changed to state verified. Why 8 days to verify a prescription? 8 days....seriously? Then I noticed that the order was supposed shipped on Saturday July 12th, 2025. I expected that it would be delivered soon, so I then requested a tracking number. I received an email stating that the order has been shipped and was provided a UPS tracking number. I tested the UPS tracking number and come to find out, the tracking number is NOT VALID!. I then check the ship date. Now the shipping date has been changed to Wed. July 16th, 2025 with a UPS tracking number that is still NOT VALID!! Then I tried to contact them again for four days without success. I called their customer service number and as soon as they answered a recording stated they are closed and immediately hung up. I sent numerous emails without a response. Then I contacted National Vision who owns Eyeglass World and they told me that their online customer service system is down and would not be available until Monday July 21st. I then contacted the customer service on Monday July 21st and was on hold for over 31 minutes to find out that the sunglasses had been shipped via USPS....NOT UPS. I would highly suggest NOT ordering online from Eyeglass World, unless you really enjoy waiting a long time to get your glasses as well as being lied to.

I was so confused, no one advised me of a questionnaire when I called to schedule. Nevertheless they appeared to be short of staff and had about 6 people waiting with no receptionist up front. Why overbook people just to refuse them when they arrive ? Does not make sense, just ridiculous.

Located on the first floor of the Saleforce Tower in the heart of Downtown Indy, Moody Eyes is an affordable destination for purchasing glasses with lots of great options to choose from. We've been coming here for many years now and much prefer it to Lens Crafters and the other pricey alternatives. Dr Moody himself is such a kind man with a great sense of humor and I dread the day he retires. I don't want to go anywhere else! After several minutes of being intimidated by who I assume is Mrs. Moody, I then calmly explained how I normally do not pay for frames at the place I had previously gone. She responded with a look and tone that I can only describe as "unnecessary" and asked "well why didn't you go there then'? She was not nice, she absolutely meant it to be rude. I then said that I would not be getting glasses today and that i just want to pay for my visit. "Ten Dollars" are the only words she says next and I quietly handed her my payment, asked for my prescription to which she says "well we aren't going to give you measurements", which i replied with silence. I then proceeded to leave while promising never to return. I have never been treated so poorly by someone at a doctors office. I want to believe that I took things out of context or the wrong way but body language and tone said everything. As if they are angry because I can not afford their overpriced Luxottica frames... I will take my "had to do a double take your insurance was so good" and go somewhere better.

I first noticed a man, just standing and staring very strangely. I later found out that he was one of the optometrists...and I was very happy that our appointments weren't with him! The front desk staff was very busy, helping customers and answering phones and there he was just staring menacingly at them and the customers. It was odd. We were seen by Riley Sutherlin and she was very kind and thorough. After my exam she gave me several tips regarding my dry eyes. She suggested warm compresses daily. I was pleasantly surprised because I usually get the exam and fitted for glasses and that's it. I got the sense that she really cared.
