He bought 2 pairs of glasses but one pair didn't seem the same. He tried to tell them something was not right but they said both were exactly the same. Fast forward He went to a new optometrist this year and took both pairs to have just the lenses updated; he was told the prescription were not the same. The eye exam performed by the new optometrist was more detailed and they actually did an in depth exam on his bifocals. He said myeyedr was not that thorough. Now that he can compare he says his new lenses and contacts are so much better than when he got new glasses and contacts from myeyedr. Myeyedr is also more expensive and they just weren't very attentive to my husband.

I think I ended up picking out six that I liked and they have a dressing room there so I tried them on and ended up purchasing two of them. The other thing I really like in here is their costume jewelry selection it is really fun! I will continue to stop in here as long as they are open. The value is good although higher priced than Goodwill but the quality is typically better and there are a whole lot of vintage items. I went to my first exam and it was very thorough, more so than any other eye exam I've had. I was informed that I did need cataract surgery. I scheduled the surgery and had a wonderful experience. The care the day of surgery was amazing and the follow-up care was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Latona. I went on the Internet to research it and I was pretty surprised that it was considered a fairly serious situation. I'm not sure why it was downplayed or not explained to me more. I did try to ask a few questions based on the minimal information that I got at that time, but I still left feeling mostly confused and uninformed. I feel that some doctors need to work on their bedside manner and need to have a little bit more 'patience with their patients'. Being shuffled in and shuffled out doesn't work very well for me. I like to feel like I matter and that my medical needs are being met. I have since found another eye doctor so I probably will not be returning to this practice.
