went in for a couples massage and had the best experience! both my and my husband's masseuse went through our histories and what we were looking to be worked on etc. both of them were extremely kind, accommodating and helpful. the studio itself is welcoming, clean and peaceful. we will definitely be back! thank you Harmony and Anna! (also super appreciate the pride flag proudly displayed in the window‍‍)

Ramping up my running training has left me stiff as the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz." Walking up and down stairs has become laborious now that I'm running 7-8 miles or more every other day. To help loosen my legs and to treat myself to some much needed relaxation, I decided I needed to get a massage. Typically I feel incredibly awkward about massages. Something about paying someone else to rub my body always felt skeezy to me? But from the moment I walked into Indigo, I felt at ease and very welcome. The vibe inside is incredibly calming. The scent in the air was relaxing without being overpoweringly fragrant. The space was bright and well tended to. The other hesitancy I had about this massage was the fact that we are living through a pandemic. I didn't know how I would feel about interacting so closely with a stranger. Their protocols are pretty strict though. Before entering I had to complete a survey about my recent travels and interactions with others. Upon entering I had my temperature taken and had to have my mask on at all times. The space was immaculately clean! I was very comfortable as I watched the massage therapist cleaning a few different surfaces in the common area. The reception desk also had plexiglass as a barrier. Once inside the massage room, I was permitted to remove my mask only when I was facing down. Indigo is definitely doing their part to provide patrons with a safe environment in which to relax. My massage therapist, Jen, was very nice! She put me at ease with her soft tone when questioning my health and if there were any issues I was having. I definitely was nervous but getting to consult with her before the massage made me feel less awkward about the session. The table I was on was incredible! It was warm and soft. Along with the blankets I was under, I felt like I was in a warm cocoon! I was warm without being uncomfortably hot. I wish I could be on the table right now. The massage room was also very comfortable. The scent, again, was relaxing without being overbearing. Loved the soft music playing. It helped me zone out while Jen worked my muscles. Jen's work was amazing! I don't have much experience to compare to, but I thought her technique was perfect. It felt great having my sore legs tended to. My final takeaway is that massages are not scary. I will definitely be going back to Indigo soon!

Extremely professional and incredibly relaxing - especially after my crazy 12-14 hour daily workdays for the past few weeks. First and foremost, this was my first professional massage and I don't know why I waited so long. But - I have had OMM (osteopathic manipulated medicine) work done on me from doctors. So, if it was going to be my first out patient massage - I was not about to go to a Massage Envy parlor. This place should be the gold standard for relaxation. They also have acupuncture. You can call or reserve a spot online. I called because I wanted a couple's massage in the same room. Remember to come 10 minutes beforehand to fill out some forms. I had Ed and he was fantastic and understood pressure points. My partner had Coreletha - who he loved. I didn't have a preference for male or female, but you can indicate this if you would like. This was a 60m massage and if you take the last appointment at 8pm on a weeknight, you can not get a 90m massage. Expectations: 1) You should be fully naked. You can opt not to be, but it will be harder on the therapist. 2) You aren't out-right naked during the massage. They keep you modest and you are covered until whatever body parts need to be worked on. 3) Drink lots of water before and after 4) Pre-session talk with your therapist about your aliments that are not apart of the 60m massage. 5) Parking in the back, but you need to walk about to get through the front door (acrossish from Guz's pretzel factory). 6) 1st fee of $55 each for 60m or $85 for 90, but it is $15-20 extra afterwards. If you are in the restaurant industry, military, or a health-care professional- it is $60 for 60m. There are also other discounts, so I would just ask about whatever your demographic is, etc. Fantastic people, staff made me feel at ease, and getting a massage might be my new vice next to coffee and wine.

Had another great massage here last week. I switched over to Jen after two great massages with Hailey because of her maternity leave. I booked the massage using the online Mind Body website, which was incredibly easy. Jen definitely uses more pressure than Hailey but my back needed that additional pressure. I finally felt some kinks and knots getting better. The massage itself was incredibly relaxing but being in the downstairs room does have some downsides-I could hear plenty of traffic and there was vacuuming and conversation directly above my room several times during the hour long massage. I was easily distracted by these noises but it definitely didn't ruin my massage. Between my health care provider discount ($60) and being able to pay with my health savings account cards I have a great rate for a monthly massage. Honestly, the only reason I even started a health savings account this year was to make myself get a massage every month.

Tranquility at its finest, as with most spa-like environments Indigo offers an extremely peaceful atmosphere. Indigo offers a wide range of services from prenatal to acupuncture and massage therapy to yoga. The facility has recently expanded. There are plenty of rooms and open space for all wellness needs. It is very quiet, clean and decorated to create serenity. They also have products for purchase: yoga mist, soaps, herbal extracts, essential oils, brushes, foot balm, face masks and more. My initial visit was for a deep tissue massage. The therapist, (whose name I cannot remember) was informative at the introduction. We actually just sat and talked for a few minutes; as she wanted to become familiar with my exact needs, areas of concern, pressure points, etc. The treatment was so amazing I drifted off into a deep sleep in the process. My second visit was for acupuncture. Jason, the acupuncturist is extremely thorough. There is quite a process before any needle work takes place. I appreciated his attention to detail, his patience and professionalism. Indigo is a place I will likely frequent for my mind & body wellness. Each experience left me feeling refreshed. I love the interior of this place. It is beautiful and very relaxing. Service: I had a massage here with Lena. Lena walked in right when I did, as the place was locked. Maybe I woke her from a nap to come to this appointment because she didn't want to be there. All together it just felt like I was inconveniencing her rather then a possible future customer. I certainly can't be bothered if she can't. Massage: The massage was OK. I told her several times that I will never say it is too deep, pressure wise, as my muscles are always super tight. I thought that was obvious enough hints for her to apply more pressure but as I was paying and mentioned I was hoping for more pressure she said she 'could' have and all I had to do was ask.... She also went on to say how she normally does deeper massages but she didn't want to do it upon me the first time... So... yeah. Product: I made comment about the oils that they used that were smelled really great that she used and she just showed it to me and shrugged it off. I had to pursue her to tell me about the products and then she told me she really isn't into the product side of it. I bought even though she could tell me 'zero' about it, Aura Cacia "gray Matter Batter," Peppermint and Roman Chamomile. I tried to ask when the Yoga is, as I had to work on Saturday (schedule change and all) and would like to try another day. She had a lot of hesitations and explanations of how the other girl does it so she isn't sure.. etc.. Finally finding it I told her I need to cancel the next day's Yoga.. again "I don't know about that, that is the other girl here." So hard to describe all this. I felt I was dealing with someone from the Peanuts gang.. or slightly more positive Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street... feet dragging.. disinterested.. etc.. Any-who... I would come back to try the yoga and/or the foot soak/reflexology as it really emulates tranquility inside there. TLDR: LOVED the interior. Massage was average. I will gladly give the other services/people a try as it is so peaceful and well done inside.

    Ready for our massage!

Ask the Community - Indigo Massage & Wellness

Do they have showers to get clean after the massage? Thanks

I'm 99% percent sure they do not have showers onsite. I've been there three times and don't recall seeing anything other than basic bathrooms.

She is effortless in her teaching, and speaks as if she's a friend guiding your body from shape to shape. There's no pretense to her presence, just authenticity and a true passion for what she does. I moved away from a very strong yoga practice and community back home at a studio I adore, and this place already feels like home away from home. The practice space: Thoughtfully appointed with a laid back feel, it's a perfect space to flow. The ceilings are tall, light is abundant, and there's plenty of wall space for an end-of-class legs up the wall savasana. Juicy. Lots of plants and greenery, plus wood and gauzy curtains that lend a very breezy energy. At a glance appears to have space for 15-20 mats (give or take). Logistics: There's one restroom shared by a few wellness businesses in the communal hallway. Entry to the space requires walking up a flight up stairs - there's no elevator that I've been able to find. Parking: Ample street parking - and directly across from Schnucks, so it's perfect to get some weekend or evening grocery shopping done after class. Extras: The community seems to interact with one another and know each others names and faces. Very friendly studio, options galore. Lots of options given and all levels of experience in class. Can't wait to keep coming back again and again!

I had been experiencing a lot of low back pain, had a very stressful sales job, and was a few months away from having surgery so I needed something to help me with all of this. Enter Urban Breath Yoga. From my first class, restorative yoga with Erin, I immediately fell in love with this place. It was everything I needed and more. I'm not even exaggerating. My body felt so good that I started balling during class because there was no other way to express my joy. I wanted to talk to her about it afterwards, but I was a mess lol A couple months in and I realized I had no more lower back pain? It just disappeared? I always looked forward to clocking out at 5:30pm so I could rush over and release all my stress during vinyasa, hatha, power, and warm yoga. Then after my surgery I was able to slowly build back up without straining myself with restorative, nidra, and yoga basics. Also a HUGE shoutout to Michelle for being such a doll in helping me when I had to be out for a month, there was no issue in pausing my membership while I recovered and they welcomed me back with open arms. This place has seriously been like a second home to me. It's changed me forever and I hope that anyone who reads this review will give it a go and have a great experience as well.
