There were few bad reviews, but i gave benefit of the doubt to try this place out. When i walked in, it was okay staffs were friendly so i thought it was going to be alright. I sat down on a chair and showed the stylist a picture of the style i wanted(which i will be attaching). It was a little over shoulder length with light brown color, which was exactly what i wanted, but guess what. I see back of my neck. It is not even a shoulder length. I have been telling him I don't want it too short like million times, he seemed like he was listening but not at all. The one thing i remember that he said was 'If i didn't like it, why would i do it?' after freaking cutting my hair to a BOB CUT. I was so flabbergasted by his comment. THIS IS MY HAIR ON MY HEAD. I don't care if you like it or not. REALLY. And he kept on telling me to smile and told me to tell him I like it.. and also kept on taking pictures and videos when i did not even give him a consent to so he can post it on his instagram. To put a cherry on top, he asked if i am going to get a blow-dry. I said no, but he started blow-drying my hair. I thought it was just a drying my hair and guess what, I had to pay 30 dollars for the service i said NO to. When I went there, I used groupon for the service of haircut and single-process hair dye. Yet, that's what my wife has been doing recently since she was introduced to this small shop by a friend of hers who lives in the area. They apparently use a much more benign set of chemicals for various hair treatments that don't damage the hair as much. I don't really know much about it, or attest to it personally, but I do have to admit my wife's hair smells much better after a perm. She says it's more expensive that her old hair salon back in Philadelphia, but definitely worth the additional time and cost. Oh, well....
