Absolute perfection! The service, location, spicy chicken and house made hot sauce were 10/10. Clean, fresh and delicious! Highly recommend

Fried chicken is the king here and the breast was so juicy and flavorful. The pieces are HUGE, and the prices are reasonable. Good is served warm and with a smile. Nice to see a craft beverage on tap versus the big guys, and always good to support local.

Not really sure if it was actually good or just edible. Let me preface this by saying I ordered through a delivery app, so it took a bit longer to get to me and wasn't as fresh or crispy as advertised. I'll definitely try it again at the restaurant soon because the flavors themselves weren't bad. I love the sweet potatoes!

My first experience at Indi's restaurant was absolutely delightful! The restaurant space is bright, airy, and clean - just what you need in a quick take-out or dine-in spot! I ordered a two-piece meal for a midday lunch (dark meat is my preference) which came with a side of green beans and a dinner roll. The best part was getting a chance to sample a spicy chicken wing before deciding to order the regular chicken. I decided the spicy chicken was too spicy for my mouth (unless I'm having wine...if there's wine, we good). I ordered the regular chicken and it was ultimately crispy and finger-licking delicious! The mac n cheese is on point and with a little bit of salt, the green beans are just what the doctor ordered. The best part - teacher/veterans/first responders with appropriate ID get a 10% discount!! I'm a teacher so the discount is mucho appreciated. I wish more businesses offered this!! Love this local Clearwater spot and can't wait to go back!

Note chicken wing has three parts!

Small storefront chicken restaurant in Clearwater right on Gulf to Bay (us. 60). Greeted by very friendly employees, who were able to help this first timer with suggestions for a filling lunch of Fried Chicken, fried Okra and mashed potatoes an gravey. The food was brought out to us on trays, and it was very good. Fresh, crispy not greasy fried chicken, and delicious side orders. Not fancy, but a good place to find fried chicken of the old style with real bones inside. Highly recommend it!

The chicken is the best. The fish is good too. I've tried just about every side they have and was not disappointed.

From the moment I saw the seafood case, everything looked ridiculously fresh, and that freshness carried straight onto the plate. The Tides is both a seafood market and restaurant, so you're surrounded by beautiful seafood and ingredients that actually look like they belong there. Then I noticed the MICHELIN plaque outside the building and thought, wait a minute... THIS place has Michelin recognition? Apparently, yes! The Tides has earned a place in the MICHELIN Guide, which suddenly made a whole lot of sense after tasting the food. That salmon was seriously some of the best I've ever had. Fresh, beautifully prepared and so clean tasting that it didn't need a bunch of heavy sauces or nonsense piled on top. It felt like one of those rare meals that is indulgent because it's delicious, but you also walk away thinking, I actually ate something good for me. The Tides was a genuine surprise, and now I'm wondering how many other little gems I've been driving right past without knowing they were there.

We made the mistake of trying to go on a Saturday evening. Shoot for off hours instead, as the wait was pretty long. We ordered a lot of what the Michelin blurb recommended: the dip trio (out of white fish), the crawfish arancini, the fried grouper po boy, and snapper. In the dip trio, we absolutely loved the fried green tomatoes and the pimento cheese (I don't like tajjn but it worked extremely well here). Neither of us was in love with the smoked fish, but if you're a big smoked fish person you might like it. We also loved the arancini and the romesco sauce they came with. The entrees we were honestly disappointed in. The grouper in the po boy tasted dry, and the snapper was nothing to write home about. It must be difficult for a restaurant to live up to the greatly heightened expectations of a Michelin designation. The location and staff were great. We didn't leave delighted but I would definitely come back to try more items.

On the rare occasion that…read moreseafood was on the menu, it was typically a frozen variety like Groton's, or the occasional fish fry at the Elk's Club. That's changed since moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida, where the fish at the local restaurant today was probably swimming yesterday. My "go-to" seafood now is a grouper sandwich which I order blackened but NOT fried. I've sampled grouper sandwiches from many local dining establishments, but my favorite is from "Carvor's Fish House" A couple of important notes: 1) Carvor's is only open for LUNCH. Their hours vary, so you'll want to check the website, but they typically close at FIVE PM, with the last order accepted at FOUR PM. 2) Carvor's has NO inside dining The patio is tree-shaded with extra umbrellas but if it's really hot, you may be uncomfortable. 3) Carvor's has COUNTER SERVICE. You go inside, order your food and THEN go back outside and select a table. When your food is ready, a server will bring it to your table. 4) This is downtown Dunedin, and parking can occasionally be a challenge on Douglas Street, but FREE parking is available in the city parking garage across the street. Pictured is my "blackened grouper" sandwich. A refreshing change from the usual French fries is their homemade chilled tomato, cucumber and onion salad. Delish!

The next time, we went for lunch and they were out of some things that we initially ordered, but we ended up with a heating plate of fried things that kind of felt like bar food. It is a cute spot and I would probably try it again. I just did not think it lived anywhere near up to the hype that most locals give it.

Service was great and super attentive. We started with the hush puppies, which were good. Definitely not the best, but they were still good. They came with a side of ranch. Out came the seafood boil, we ordered two one of their standard boils and then I did a customer boil with crab legs and sausage. We both added boiled eggs to ours and went with the mild spice level and Mr. And Mrs. Crab seasoning. They bring out a bib, gloves and a discard bucket when you order the boils. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. Again, not the best I've had but it satisfied our craving. My girlfriend thought it was delicious and was making sure to soak everything up in the sauce, haha. One thing I noticed was the crab was lacking on some of the legs, not as meaty. Not sure what caused that. Also, there was a bit of a funky after taste with the boil that I haven't encounter before. I don't know if it was the seasoning or the sauce. Just my personal opinion and others might think differently. Also, wasn't really a fan of the potatoes or the egg. Just tasted off to me. Overall, we had a good experience. Might return in the future to give it another shot.
