I would be in trouble if I lived closer to Tang's. The prices, on point... the food, on point... serving size, on point... location from me, not so much but that just makes me enjoy it more. Tang's offers a wide variety of options to choose from and so far, I haven't had anything bad there. The prices are great as well, making it a lot easier to be willing to try new things vs sticking to with what you know working. This trip we just wanted something simple so we got the 8 piece chicken strips and fried okra. We ordered a side of the honey mustard and garlic pepper and were offered the suggestion to get the honey garlic pepper instead. We took the suggestion and were glad we did. You can taste all three different flavor profiles in it and it was great. New favorite! The amount of fried okra you get it insane and Ben eats every last piece. Interesting sketchy area, right across from the high school. I orderedthe wings with the special Tang's which they charge extra for which was pretty good. I was so excited to try this place - Ive heard some good things - wanted to give it a try after someone gave me a gift card. I was so dissatisfied and disappointed. I was hungry and so was my son - i spent $23 to be hungrier!! I ordered a medium teriyaki chicken - I got chicken and onions. -didn't quite look anything like the picture-barely any sauce and comes with no rice! Ok so dry chicken with no rice ok - so when I mentioned it - she was kind to give me more sauce in those small containers but it was cold. So now i have dry chicken with no sauce no rice and no warmth! Didn't expect it so be so bad!! My son got the chicken burger and fries and he is a burger chicken sandwich lover - and he ate the fries and the burger sits idle. The employees were kind and patient however to spend money on bad food again is something i wont do. Probably wont be back for that. Guy behind me seemed to enjoy his boneless wings alot. Based on their menu, I'm not entirely sure what kind of restaurant this is! I was looking for some Chinese food when this place came up. I ordered their chicken teriyaki with fried rice! And I thought it was delicious!! Wish that it would have came with more broccoli- it only came with two pieces. Because of the pandemic, I decided to get this delivered. I was in the mood for Chinese and the name of this place suggested that some Chinese would be on the menu. And there were some Chinese items on the menu, although not very many. Tang's has diverse fast food offerings that include things like burgers, subs, wings, lo mein and "Boba" (bubble) tea. I had the General Tso's chicken "Ultimate Meal" for $8.49. Fried rice and soda were included, but I was able to substitute Strawberry Lemonade for the soda for an additional $1.59. I really enjoyed all of my food, and the lemonade was great too. Even though I loved the General Tso's chicken, I think I'll try the Teriyaki chicken next time I visit this place. read more

Cute little chicken wing joint with an asian flare inside your neighborhood strip mall. We tried the whole wings, Tang's Style (sweet, soy blend with sesame) and the "party" wings, which are broken up into flats and drums. We also tried a side of fries and fried rice. As other reviewers mentioned, the fried rice was not as good as you can find at other Chinese fast food joints, but the wings were pretty on point. Tang's has easily become one of my go to spots to order wings from. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from ranging from mild buffalo to my favorite "Lemon Pepper Honey Garlic". I usually order the 6 wing combo which comes with fried rice and a drink. I love the fact that Tang's Chicken cooks their fried rice with an actual egg in it which gives it more of a hibachi taste. Tonight we had an order of 10 Cajun wings, some macaroni bites, a shrimp burger and fried rice. The good: Wings were tasty, cooked nicely. The not bad: Macaroni bites were ok, a little dry. The less successful: Fried rice was terribly dry and lacked flavor. No soy sauce included in delivery. The really not successful: Shrimp burger was not enjoyable. It was a half dozen fried shrimp, breaded and spicy, on a bun with a tomato slice, a lettuce leaf and mayo. Just not very enjoyable. I think next time we will stick to wings here. The "whole wings" are really good. We really enjoyed the lemon pepper seasoning on them. However the wings were pretty small. The plain fried rice didn't have much flavor and wasn't good. Being in the south, we take our fried chicken pretty seriously. Tang's has great fried chicken in the Clearwater area from a mom and pop type of place. I ordered the 6 whole wings (lemon pepper style) with a side of fried rice. While the fried rice was lacking in flavor the wings made up for it. The fried rice reminded me of the type of fried rice you'd get in a mall food court. The seasoning on the chicken however, was flavorful, not salty, and perfectly golden with minimal batter. First thing, hair in my side salad which made me want to rate 1 star. The shrimp teriyaki did not have a load of sauce but that was okay, the flavor was still good. Great place for fried chicken! My wife and I found this spot a few days ago and it is definitely over our expectation. The Cajun whole wings are very juicy and super delicious. Customers are required to wear facial coverings before entering any eatery. Apparently, face coverings are NOT required for the cashiers. These cashiers are responsible for handing out prepared orders. I addressed this with the manager on my prior visit. He assured me he would address the mask requirement with the cashier I walk in this evening. No mask was worn by the cashier.
