I visited Indochino over the weekend with my fiancé to take a look at suits for our wedding. We made an appointment for 5 and thankfully made it in time. If you're not familiar with Greenwich Avenue on the weekend, make extra time to find parking. We were greeted by John (the one and only employee here). He was so down to earth but very knowledgeable with suits. He gave us a breakdown on customization and what he recommends. He was very honest with us about everything and let us know about the tailor down the street. This being said, he told us to come back earliest would be mid-September and latest would be at the end of October due to measuring. They want to get the exact fit so you don't need alterations. We will definitely be coming back to get his suit here. I brought up Men's Wearhouse but we both agreed that Indochino was cheaper in price but the suits are so much nicer and more unique due to customizing everything. I visited Indochino for a custom suit for my wedding more than a year before the date, which I thought would allow ample time to have the suit made and shipped. At that initial visit, I was told that it was a little early to look for a suit, and I should come back 3-4 months prior to the date to plan (mistake number one). Fast forward to about 8 months later (four months before the wedding). When I arrived, neither of the associates seemed interested in helping to select fabrics or finishes. I understand there is some personal preference and style that makes a suit, but I was asking for a bit of help and didn't seem to receive it. When it came to measurements, that was a completely different story (mistake number two). I had come with my partner for the initial selection and consult, and when our suits were delivered, our measurements must have been mixed up a bit. His suit fit relatively well--the pants were a little big, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed easily. My suit, however, seemed to have some of his measurements and some of mine. My crop top vest was probably the most comical item I had received (I'm about 6 inches taller than my partner). We returned to the store and the associate (who was different than the one measuring us) apologized and measured me again. The original suit couldn't be salvaged, so a new suit was ordered. I was assured it would be made and delivered with time to spare (mistake number three). We felt comforted by his confidence though, and we needed white shirts for the big day, so we ordered custom white shirts at that visit also (mistake number four). Five days before our wedding, I hadn't received my new suit and we hadn't received our shirts. FIVE DAYS!! I tried to track the shipment through DHL as well as through Indochino and neither one could locate our items (I can't even remember what mistake number I'm on at this point). Indichino said it was in customs in Ohio; DHL said it never received the item in China! The solution was to wait and hope. Four days before the wedding, the suit showed up at my door. Two days before the wedding, the white shirts showed up. The measurement for the suit was correct, but the white shirts couldn't be buttoned they were so tight...thankfully they were just white shirts! We spent $300+ on shirts and needed run to a local store in the midst of last minute wedding planning. Needless to say, it was all unnecessary. Indochino customer service was unapologetic and didn't offer a refund, store credit, or any other consolation for the mismanagement, additional stress, or ill-fitting garments. I was disappointed in the care I received as well as the overall product. Maybe there are some locations of this brand that offer better service, but I'd stay away from this branch. read more

Made an appointment to get alterations on my wedding suit purchased at another Indochino location. Arrived to find that they do not have an in-house tailor- which means they cannot do alterations. Instead, I was walked down the street to another tailor. Ironically, he was not it in, and they were unable to give an estimate. I was told that if the cost was greater than a certain price, that I would have to cover it! It was a real waste of time. The manager said that they do not inform people that they don't have a tailor because sometimes garments need to be remade. As a customer, and as someone who had his wedding party purchase suits at Indochino- this is not the kind of communication and service I would expect. If a garment needs to be remade they will remeasure you, but they will not make fixes that cost less than $25 for pants, and $75 for a jacket. read more

I absolutely loved my experience here. The staff is kind and helpful. I got an amazing suit for a friends wedding that fit me beautifully and it was all because these people simply know what they are doing. They told me if I need any adjustments to take it to my tailor and they would reimburse for $25 for pants and $75 for suit (more than enough for any minor alterations). If it was something completely wrong they would just remake it at no extra costs to me. I will definitely be coming back for my next suit. read more

AVOID buying anything here. Contrary to their promises, they do not know how to take measurements, so they were unable to deliver on time a suit that would properly fit, which meant we had to buy a second suit elsewhere. I wish i could give this place (-5) stars. The worse experience ever with Indochino and this location. I'm getting married in a few weeks and I sent my groomsmen here to get suits a month-a-half ago. The suits don't fit anyone right and need alternations. After calling and letting the place know, we came-in to only be told they don't have a tailor at the showroom (why didn't they tell us that when we were getting measured or when we called regarding the issues and telling them we were coming in?). Received my suit and three shirts exactly 3 weeks after being measured in Greenwich Ct. Everything fits perfectly. Person who took the measurements is quite the expert and gave me exactly what I asked for. You can ask him questions concerning current styles and he will give you his honest opinion. I am so glad I took the time to go to the store to get measured instead of trying to do it myself. Everything is perfect! Will definitely order more suits. read more

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The seamstress took the wrong measurement for a "custom" order when the suit was delivered it was completely wrong. When we went in to have it fixed they wouldn't adjust. We called the customer care number and it was even worse. For a store that is supposed to pride themselves in custom customer service they should really rethink their methods. Please do not give them any business. read more
